Miyazono Kaori POV: 

There were days that I don't want to be in Kousei's current world but when he kissed me after the many days that we haven't seen each other, I immediately forgave him. "You really know how to get on my good side, Kousei."

"Forgive me for not spending so much time with you," he told me. "My life as my uncle's heir is getting into me."

His cheeks were hot at my touch, then, I spread my palms at his hair. "Remember that many of us are behind you. It was also a shock to me that he didn't want you to be in the Eagle Eye. He knows too much for someone who isn't in the organization."

Kousei sat on our bed, clasped his hands, and removed his eyeglasses. "You were told by my uncle about my problem, am I right? I will be calling Emi Igawa for the music battle."

"Why do you need her when the organization does have us?" I told him. "You can choose me to fight for you and this organization."

"Why do I feel that while I wasn't with you, something changed with you?"

Jupiter taught me how to use a gun, made me study about the American Constitution alongside the CIA Agents, and last of all, he placed me in a lot of physical tests and activities. His uncle and the other members of the organization put me in a lot of difficult challenges, too.

"Don't you think that someone like me won't change?" I chuckled. "I have to adapt in your world since my love for you is so great!"

Kousei kissed me on my lips, then, both of us went deeper that I felt him touch my throat. He was so muscular and very manly, now. "Thank you, Kaori, but I still don't know if I should allow you to be in danger."

"Don't go farther away from me, Kousei. I had you back but we both lost Ryota."

"Are you sure about this, Kaori?" He gazed into my eyes, and touched my lips. "I don't want something bad to happen to you."

"Nothing bad will happen to me," I promised him. "Most of all, I will do my best to protect you. The weight on your shoulders had been too much for you already. It's time for me to help you carry that weight."

His hands tightened on my hands. "Valentine Gunns is a dangerous business man. He's a member of an Italian-American Mafia."

"I know that information, Kousei," I replied. "It's also my reason why I have to do it. I am already a CIA Agent, not just a member of the Eagle Eye Organization."

His eyes fluttered open, and when I stared at his eyes, it was obvious that he was in such utter shock. "You... You're now a CIA Agent? How? Why would they allow you to be a CIA Agent?"

It's time to tell him about something very interesting that happened to me while he was so confused and had not thought what he should do after his discovery that Ryota betrayed him and his threat scared him.

"The Central Intelligence Agency removed all of my records after I had pledged my loyalty to Kuroshi Ashworth and at the Eagle Eye Organization while you were out of Ashworth Mansion," I informed him. "Also, your uncle trained me how to use a gun as he told me that I have to learn how to protect myself."

"Why don't you want me to convince Emi to go here for the music battle?"

"I believe that it is safer to choose me than Emi. She will be surprised if she does discover that she will have to fight in a dangerous battle where it can have a bloody confrontation."

Kousei seemed persuaded, already. "That's true but you haven't killed anyone yet, Kaori. I don't even know if you can kill anyone."

I gulped a lot of my saliva as it was true that I haven't used a gun to kill anyone, yet. "I always hope that it would never come to that, Kousei, but I know that if I see a situation that I have to use a gun, I will use it no matter what."

"You can fight for the music battle in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kaori. I will have to place bodyguards to protect you since things may turn bloody."

"I understand, Kousei."

The next day, I heard a phone call in our room and so, I picked it up. It was a shock for me when I heard Ryota's voice. "You're one of them, Kaori? How can you be one of them?! I will expose Eagle Eye Organization no matter what!"

"How did you get the landline phone number of this house, Ryota?"

"Damn it!" he cursed. "I don't need to tell you!"

"Stop this nonsense and say sorry to Kousei, Ryota! I don't understand why you're trying to expose the Eagle Eye Organization!"

"You chose Kousei, Kaori," he darkly said behind the phone. "Why will I choose to tell you why I hate that organization?"

"Just tell me, Ryota!" I cried out. "Tell me why you hate this organization!"

"My mother was a spy of that organization, and she died during her mission. She also chose Phoebe Yang if something happens to her but that organization threw her," he said to me. "She has the code name 'April', Kaori. I'm sure that it's now your codename, am I right?"

I gripped the phone tighter. "Phoebe Yang is someone which Kousei hated, Ryota. She was his father's wife..."

Ryota sighed. "...And they killed her for that reason, Kaori."

"Forgive me, Ryota but I can't feel remorse or even pity you. You chose to go against Kousei and severed your friendship for revenge. Why don't you give up, now? You can't win against the Eagle Eye Organization. I may not understand why you hate Kousei but what you're doing is still wrong."

"Let's see if you can win, Kaori. I will make sure your beloved boyfriend spills out the secrets of that organization! Also, I want to correct you. I consider my best friend dead and I will resurrect him by destroying America's inner and most secretive spy organization!" he warned me. "Kousei Arima is no more! He's now Kousei Ashworth! That man is no friend of mine! That man and Valentine Gunns had already agreed to give their champions two weeks to prepare for the music battle. They also had chosen and hired their judges with a neutral judge chosen by Vegas Sapphire Hotel."

A tear streaked down my eyes because of what he screamed on the phone. "How can you say that, Ryota? Why? Kousei always have considered you his friend!"

A hand removed the phone away from me and when I looked up, I saw Kousei holding the landline phone. He told me to stay quiet as he take the phone to talk to him. "Hi, Ryota! I know that the man you want to talk to is me."

Kousei talked to him on the phone for a while, then, after a few more minutes, he placed the phone down. He was calm while he was speaking with him and it shocked me that he didn't show any emotions at that time. After he was done talking to him, he took me around his arms. "Don't talk to Ryota, Kaori. Tsubaki had to be told about it, too."

"Why was he..." I stared at his blue eyes and found out that he did his best not to cry as it was just at that moment he was with me when he allowed his tears to fall. "Kousei...?"

Kousei just held me tightly. "Kaori, I don't know why but we just have to focus on protecting the organization."
