When everything in your life is uncertain,

Nothing quite like the clarity and precision of fresh snow and blue sky.

The first thoughts I had this saturday morning as I stepped away from the warmth of my truck,

And let my skis slap the snow in front of me.

No wind,

No clouds.

Just me, the still air and cold sunshine,

Freezing my nostrils immediately.

With a deep breath,

My lungs filled up halfway.

Just then, I realised myself,

Somewhere missing on earth.

When everything in your life is uncertain,

You get missing, somewhere beneath.
