"Yeah, I knew that already. Jeez, why did you slap so hard?" Ethan said as he lightly tapped his bruised head.
    "Because your stupid. You already knew? How?" Torri exclaimed. She got him on the head again for not telling her.
    "You're an abusive friend! Arg, while you were passed out, we came up with that theory. I was a key part in that conversation." He proudly replied. Torri rolled her eyes.
    "You could have told me when I woke up! And I'm not abusive! I'm only hitting you when you do or say idiotic things." She pouted. Ethan gave her a look. Just then Alice clobbered down the steps.
    "I've contacted Marcia. She will be here shortly. We have to go. Torri, Ethan, pack your things." She huffed. Ethan grunted as he got up.
    "But what about her boss, and mine? I mean, aren't we going to be in trouble?" He asked.
    "Your employer and the wizard your apprenticed to have been informed." Alice said sternly. Snorri stood up to leave. She wasn't going on another Heap run.
     "Snorri and Nick are coming along as well. We need their boat." Snorri took a sharp breath. This was fantastic.
     "Where are we going?" Nicko asked glumly. Torri looked up at Alice, who was grabbing the small dragon.
    "To see one of Septimus' best friends. He lives in the Marram Marshes." She answered quickly. Torri opened the purple door and hopped on the steps. As did Ethan.
     "Torri, so t forget the book." Alice called. Torri quickly hopped off the stairs and ran back into the ExtraOrdinary rooms. Alice was holding the mint-blue book that Torri had helped crack the clue for.
    "Did you find the charm?" She asked. Alice nodded and pulled out a purple and white oval.
    "Take this also. Who knows what could happen in someone else's hands." Alice shivered.  Torri glanced away and make a weird face. She ran out the door and hopped on the steps that were going faster that normal. The spiral staircase must not have been busy, because it was getting faster.
    Torri got down to the Messenger Bay and Dorms and went into the dorms. She grabbed her empty carrier bag and cloak. In a separate bag, she packed her essentials. Her toothbrush, comb, extra clothes etc. She opened the second and final drawer in her small dresser. When it opened a mysterious wind came out of nowhere and Torri hat to hold her beanie. There at the bottom of the drawer was her birthday present from Alice and a strange bottle. She decided that the bottle go with the protection charm, the book, and the strange charm in her messanger bag. Torri looked at her neighbors timepiece-which she always laid on her bed-and quickly threw her messanger robe and tossed the cloak in the bag. She then grabbed both the light backpack and messenger bag and ran to the spiral staircase. Just as Torri was about to hop on, Alice Snorri, Nicko and Ethan zoomed past. Torri quickly jumped on behind them.
    "Glad you could make it." Ethan chuckled. Torri glared at him.
     "Aaaand, now." He said as Torri slapped him. Ethan winced. Best friends. That's all that Torri thought. But Ethan didn't think of her as his a friend. Torri would never know.
    "Let's go." Alice stated. They were at the doors and Torri and Ethan were lagging behind. Torri was in last.
     "Yeah Torri, let's go." Ethan teased. This time, he slapped her on the back of the head. She just laughed as they walked out I the Wizard Tower. They met the face of Marcia Overstrand, and she looked angry. Torri swallowed. This was gonna be bad.
