I stepped out of his car mode wrapped in the blanket as I embraced the cold night air, his holoform got out as well, watching my every move in curiosity. "Do you like it, I thought it was a pretty place and that its beauty would calm you down," he said which made me turn around jumping in excitement and I awaited for his permission. Once he noticed what I was doing he spoke again, "Sharlet you do not have to have my permission to go, just don't go to far and stay out of trouble," he said as I slowly nodded in embarrassment then ran off to the water sticking my bare feet into it shivering a bit at it's cold touch but I didn't care that much because it had been so long since I actually got to feel the water and embrace its soothing touch since when I was given a shower they did it for me and I only had like two minutes in the water, not to mention it was ice cold water that they used so it wasn't soothing, it was just weird to me.
Optimus walked up beside me sitting down as he looked at me curious, "what are you doing? Why are you putting your feet into the water isn't it cold?" He said as I just shrugged, I smiled at him as I laid down on the grass him following my movements and doing the same, then I covered us both up with the blanket and looked up at the stars in the night sky until I heard Optimus speak and turned to look at him, "you do not have to cover me up you know, I'm not a real human so I don't get cold with this form," he said as I just shrugged again to show him that I didn't really care if he gets cold or not and continued to look at the stars with a smile on my face. "I'm glad this calmed you down and I am glad that you are enjoying it," Optumus said giving me a warm smile which I could sense, then he turned and also looked up at the stars.

We were out there for who knows how long and I ended up almost falling asleep as I subconsciously rolled to my side cuddling to Optimus' arm trying to find warmth and suprisingly his holoform felt like it was radiating body heat. He must have realized that I was basically asleep as he slipped out of my grasp and got up, then I felt my body get picked up which caused me to jump and gasp in fear and I heard him whisper softly, "shhhh your ok, it's ok your safe, it's just me alright, just sleep," I heard him say as I started to slip more into the darkness. I felt him lay me onto a car seat and buckle me in then I heard the car start up and we started to move as I completely lost all consciousness and fell asleep.

The next day

I awoke and realized that I was back on the couch which made me think that it was all just a dream but it felt too real to be a dream. I yawned and looked up to see Ratchet working on the computers, Bumblebee playing some ball game with Bulkhead I think was his name, Arcee wasn't anywhere to be seen and Optimus who was also at some computers. So I got off the couch and drowsily started walking over to him, on my way I almost got stepped on by Bulkhead and covered myself in fear letting out a fearful gasp until I heard Ratchet, "BULKHEAD WATCH OUT!!" He yelled making both bots freeze and Optimus turn around to see what was happening. When Bulkhead saw me under his ped he lost his balance and fell backwards as to not step on me then I ran to Optimus in fear hiding behind his gigantic body which caused him to let out a sigh of relief and look at me. He went to reach for me and sat me on his shoulder so he knew I would be safe from being smooshed and turned to get back to work until Ratchet interrupted, "um Optimus I have a question, what are we gonna do when Fowler comes, are we gonna tell him about her or?" He said catching his attention, "I'm not sure, I thought about telling him about her but I don't know how he might react, since she has no family and has been through a lot," Optimus said as he looked at me then back at Ratchet who continued, "well Prime, what if he can find her a loving and caring family instead being here with us where she could get squished under our peds," he said as Optimus stood there thinking for a moment.

Optimus stopped thinking and spoke up, "agent Fowler is a good friend and I do think we should tell him about her, he could help and I agree with most the things he does and say. He has helped us stay hidden and has protected us even though it put his own life in jeopardy so whatever he decides to do I will oblige by it," he said with a sigh, looking back at me and in his eyes he looked sad to me which made me frown. It was quiet for awhile since Bumblebee and Bulhead left to go pick up the kids, when they came back Miko jumped out and ran up to Optimus and me shouting to me, "hey Sharlet I have something for you," she said. Optimus took me off his shoulder and sat me on the ground next to her as she hugged me and dug into her bag looking for something, "here you go, I thought you might want a new set of clothes instead of wearing those ugly rags all the time, besides they probably don't have the best of memories," she said handing me some pants and a shirt then looked up at Optimus, "hey boss bot, can you groundbridge me and Sharlet to my house for a little?" She said as Optimus raised an eyebrow at that to indicate that he wanted to know why, "don't worry I just thought maybe she would want to take a nice shower before changing so she wouldn't feel gross or something," Miko said as Optimus sighed and walked to the groundbridge handle thing, he opened it up, the noise startling me a bit as Miko grabbed my wrist pulling me into it, I held onto the clothes and turned to looked at Optimus still being dragged, he nodded and then disappeared as we went through the blue swirly bridge thing.

We came out behind a house surrounded by a small white fence as Miko still held onto my wrist, she opened the door and shushed me even though I don't even talk so there was kinda no point to that. We walked up stairs and into a room where she shut the door quietly and let out a sigh. She started to giggle which confused me as her hand washed across her forehead, "that was close, if my parents knew I brought someone home without asking then I would probably get my butt chewed out and then they would start questioning you because of what your wearing. Anyways follow me," she said as we went into the bathroom and she explained, "ok so this is the hot side and this is the cold side so I'll set it to warm and you can change it if you don't like the temperature," she said pointing to the shower handle and turned it on then left the bathroom leaving the door cracked a bit just incase something happened.

After my shower I got dressed in the clothes Miko gave me and walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed as I walked up to her with a smile. She gave me a smile back and handed me something to eat just then I heard a voice coming from her pocket, "Miko, Optimus is on his way to pick Sharlet up," they said and sounded like Bulkhead. My suspicions were answered when Miko replied, "alright Bulkhead she's ready, I just gotta sneak her out the house," she said, then she grabbed my hand and dragged me back through her house but instead of going through the door we went through when we got here, we turned the opposite direction and crept by the livingroom where I saw her mom cleaning, we silently opened the door and when we went to walk out we heard her mom shout "hunny is that you? Why are you so late?" She yelled causing Miko to push me out the door and turn to respond, "mom I've been home I was in my room, I was gonna go take the trash out," she said grabbing the trash bag out of the trashcan. Her mom turned around looking at her a bit weird then spoke, "oh well alright hunny, sorry I didn't know that you were home, why didn't you say something when you got here?" She said and Miko just shrugged and started to walk towards me and out the door. Just then Optimus drove up and I waved goodbye to Miko as I hopped into his truck mode and we left, going back to the base.
