Rythian's POV

"Zoey...no...please don't be...." I whisper as I hold the limp figure of my love in my scared arms. She has took so much over the last month or so.... and I have given so much to keep her with me. Through all the experiments I have stayed strong for her, but somehow they have taken her from me...

The Ender in my blood roars to life and my eyes glow a deep purple, while my scar burn under my mask. I was about to turn away when Zoey suddenly stirred.

"Rythian...is that you?" She asks her heartbeat going very slowly.

"It's me Zoey, your going to make it through this!" I exclaim, my anger towards the man who did all of this growing and growing...

"No, Rythian...please just....please think about yourself... get yourself out of this mess and please help the others....for me....don't start to become the monster they wanted to create...Rythaian I-I lov...." She whimpers and I can feel her chest heaving to give one last smile and then...my love...goes limp in my arms. I have lost the only person that I have ever cared about and now I wanted my revenged, my sweet revenge. But how should I do this without turning into the monster she most feared?...

Hannah's POV

I bang my fists against the steel door, screaming in fury while tears stream down my cheeks.

"HE IS DEAD YOU A$$HOLES! WHAT DO YOU WANT! HE IS DEAD DEEEEAD!" My voice breaks and comes out raspy while I scream curse words at the doors.

He is sitting in the corner now....I closed his eyes, even though that does very little against the large hole in his head.

He came in...Lalnable...he came in and I started clawing at him because somehow they had drained my magic completely. There was no mother to help me now.

He shoved me back saying to Lewis in a bored tone: "I have no use for you now..." Then suddenly he took a gun out of his lab-coat, pointed it at Lewis's forehead and pulled the trigger. I roared and jumped at him partially clawing Lalnable's eyes out. After he left and the doors locked, I turned around to see Lewis slumped figure, his beautiful blue eyes now lifeless and dull. I fell to my knees and started crying, while closing his eyes. I kissed him one last time and then turned around to start screaming and prying at the doors.

Now I don't know how long I have been doing this...but long enough to have the blood under my nails dry. I slump against the door and start crying hysterically.

Suddenly the doors open and I look up seeing Kim and Simon.

"KIM" I scream falling into her arms and turn away as the doors lock and Lewis vanishes....forever. Suddenly I bump into someone...Lalnable. Rage burns up inside of me and I pounce on him, proceeding to scratch at him but Simon and Kim pry me off.

"HE KILLED LEWIS! HE HAS TO PAY!" I scream as I thrash around me.

"Hannah no! This is clone 01...he helped us get out.....he says that he is a rouge clone not following the commands of Lalnable" she says letting go of me and I collapse once more on the floor. I don't have the strength to do anything but somehow I get to my feet again.

"And now we have to haul ass and get out of here! Where is L-" he starts but I just shake my head. He goes deathly pale but stays strong while Kim comes to his side.

"We have to go...Simon please..." she says trying to avoid my deathly gaze.

We all follow the clone to the next door and he swipes a card to open it. When it opens Rythian comes jumping out his eyes falling upon clone 01.

"Rythian where is-" Kim starts to say but gets interrupted by Rythian's screaming.

"SHE IS DEAD!" His voice is very unnatural.

'I know how you feel mate...' I think and stare at him with dull, sad eyes. His eyes seem to glow a violent purple as he moves towards us.

"You....." he says pointing a glowing hand at the clone.

Kim's hand shoots up revealing purple flames. "Look Rythian! This isn't Lalnable, this is clone 01 and he helped us escape! We have to get out....she would want you to live..." she whispers the last part while gesturing down the hall. He sighs and after a long pause he says: "ok Zoey....for you..." but he says it more to himself than to us.

"Now where is Duncan?" Kim says slightly panicked.

"He is already out, looking for us" says 01 and in that moment Duncan collides with Kim.

"What a happy coincident" I say not really felling anything anymore...

Sadly this book is soon ending, but who knows I might make a second one, maybe not.
