Rythian's POV

I look at the girl that's sitting I front of me. "Hanna! I thought you were somewhere else?" I say with surprise in my voice. I haven't seen her since our encounter in the orphanage. I suddenly remember what I was just doing, while pushing Hanna out of my way as I pick up the different vials that are still intact. She looks at me with a gaze or better said at my mask. I just pull it over my mouth and stand up. "Something happened so don't ask!" I say over my shoulder as I start to run the person that I need the vials for. For Zoey. For the one that helps me through this mess. I think as I half run, half walk to a door at the back of the cub board. While I vanish into the dark room I still feel the gaze of Hanna on me.

Kim's POV

I storm out of the huge metal doors and the bright, white lights of Yoglabs shine upon me as I look around for Hanna. I see her sitting on the floor a dazzled expression on her pale face. When her blue eyes finally meet mine she jumps up and embraces me into a giant bear hug.

"Oh Kim! I was worried dead about you!" She screeches into my ear. I grin at her and try to slowly pry her off me.

" Yes Hanna, I'm fine...I'm jut trying to wrap my head around what's happening" I answer when suddenly I feel a needle prick my neck. I slowly sink to the floor and behind me the man with the syringe is Lalnable Hector. Duncan's father. Right before my vision turns black I see his red suddenly turn red and a wide grin spread across his face. "Three down, six to go" he says and the I go limp.

Duncan's POV

While running down the long white corridors of Yoglabs I replay in my head what just happened. The destruction of the old world. I'm related to a destroyer... I think while remembering that he read things about the old world. But I never knew that Misa, Aurora and Echo are from that world too.

Suddenly I skid to a halt when I see my father holding the now limp Hanna in her arms.

"DAD! What the hell are you doing?!" I shout at him and he looks at me with fiery red eyes. He grins crazily and puts Hanna back down.

"Well hello Duncan. I'm taking care that we finish my experiments" he smiles while cracking his knuckles.

"But father it's the experiments of Yoglabs not yours!" I shout stepping closer to Kim and checking her pulse. Good still alive.

"No, no, no... I'm jut doing this for my master and he demands all the threats dead!" I hear him say and the feeling of a needle piercing my skin is cold and painful. "And I will make the deaths very very slow" are the last words I hear from the man bending over me.

Zoey's POV

I hear the creaking of the door and light floods into the room. "R-Rythian?" I ask my body still hurting and the fifth bandage already drenched in blood.

"No, I'm not your loved one" the voice says and as the man steps into the dim light I see his face.

"Lalnable!" I say jumping back the moving causing me to whimper.

"Yes and do you want to know why I tortured you?" He asks nodding to my wound.
"Because it's the best way to lead Rythian to me."

My eyes widen when he suddenly shoots towards me and holds a small knife to my throat. He grins at me as he clutches my side causing new hot blood to tickle down my leg.
Suddenly the door opens and Rythian storms in. He looks in disbelief at Lalnable.

"Let her go" he says his Hans clutched so hard his knuckles turn white.

"Rythian. N-no run!" I can squeeze out before Lalnable so hard on the table that white spots dance in front of my face.

"YOU ASSHOLE!" Rythian screams and jumps onto Lalnable slamming him towards the wall. He grunts and grins wickedly.

"You have only endangered yourself even more" he says and with one swift movement he injects Rythian with something. I drag myself to the lying Rythian and he takes my face into his hands.

"Zoey I lov-" he tries to say but I can't hear the rest because Lalnable has already jabbed the needle into my side and I lose my consciousness.
