GLOSSARY
I know realize my mistake, I am so sorry guys XD
I should have made a glossary in the beginning of this book, but tbh in the beginning I didn't plan no making this so detailed XD. It was only supposed to be like 20 chapters tbh.
Anywho, the glossary.
These are words and phrases you will see often, in a different language (latin), in this book.
Excor|| Is actually a word I made up hahah, pronounced [X-sir] get it? An Excor is a person who did not survive or technically 'die' from the death wave that wiped out half of Earth's population 300 years ago.
Qui In Lingo|| The tree people (translates from Latin). Qui In Lingo is the largest of the 3 tribes in the province, taking up most of the forest area. It's current Ductor's are Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugou.
In Monte Populo|| The mountain people (translates from Latin). In Monte Populo is the smallest of the 3 tribes in the province, taking up only half of the mountain terrain. It's current Ductor's are Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugou.
Et Pluviam Hominibus|| The rain people (translates from Latin). This word is a mouthful. Et Pluviam Hominibus is the second-largest of the 3 tribes in the province taking up most of the rain forest and the remaining half of the mountain terrain as well. It's current Ductor's are Fuyumi Todoroki and Alixand Blaike.
Fated|| This is a word straight from the Cricket language book :). The Natives use this term when referring to what us normies would call 'marriage'. In order to Fate yourself to somebody, you must present them with courting gifts (in the royal families they give jewelry). After you present them with that typically you have a Fated Ceremony in front of the entire village to signify your bond. When two people Fate they tend to keep their last names (blood-given names) from their family.
The only time their last names change is when, in a boy/girl relationship, the woman gets pregnant. That means they're going to be starting a family so someone needs to change their last name. Get it?
Qui Metallum|| The metal people (this translates from Latin). Qui Metallum is what The Natives call the people who went into underground Bunkers when the Death Wave hit. As far as anyone was concerned for the past 3 centuries, nobodies ever seen one (much like nobody's ever seen an Excor in a few decades . . .). The Qui Metallum in the province are all extinct, being survived by Izuku Midoriya.
Mors Undam|| The death wave (translates from Latin).
Any other words or phrases that are put into this book I will try my best to explain them in the chapters they appear in. But for the most part, these are the words and phrases you'll be seeing most often!
Until we meet again!!! (next chapter should be up sometime this week/weekend)
