Sans...he had no idea what had just suddenly happened. He remembers that he is trying to fly over to Papyrus and Undyne, in an effort to try and aid them against an entity of unknown origin and powers, but as that happened...he no longer remembers the rest that has happened. In fact, all that he remembers is the darkness, but that is all he remembers. He has no idea what had became of the aftermath of what he had gotten himself into. And now...now he has no idea where he is. He tries to move...but it is like his body has turned into a 1,000 pound dumbbell. He cannot move a muscle, and in fact, remained in the position of the place that he is lying in. He tries to keep on moving his body, but nothing is happening...at first. But than...he began to feel the weight lessen off of him, he began to open his eyes, in order to try and see where it is that he is at right now. When he opened his eyes, at first, it was too bright, almost like looking into the sun itself. But than, the brightness began to disappear, and than...he began to see where he is that he is at right now. He is...back in his room. But how? And strangely, he notices that his coat is gone, and he is sitting down onto his bed. He than held his head...as he than spoke out.

"Ghhhh...what happened?"

As Sans spoke that out of his mouth...a female voice than spoke out his name.

"Sans..."

Sans' eyes raised up a little bit, as he than turned around to see who it is that spoke. Surprisingly...it's an old friend of his.

"Alphys?"

Sans said, as he than began to sit up from the bed. Alphys blinks at Sans, and her eyes widened, as she spoke out

"You're alive!"

She than outstretched her arms, and hugged Sans very tightly, making Sans a little bit surprised at what is happening at this moment. But he smiled a little, as he hugged his friend. Alphys is a Royal scientist of his city. While very timid and nervous, she is also rather confident in what she does, and is very intelligent. And since Sans himself is also intelligent, they are both capable partners in crime. Alphys than grabbed the sides of his head, and she than spoke out.

"Thank god, you're awake! You've been in a c-coma for weeks! I was afraid you were going to die! I'm so glad they you're a-awake!"

Sans than sighed, as he spoke out.

"Ahh...sorry that...I made you worry, Alphys. But what happened? Can you explain to my how I got here?"

Alphys nodded, as she than spoke out.

"O-Of course. But first, let me clean this mess off of the floor. I'll be right back!"

As Alphys was prepared to leaving the room. Suddenly the door from the other side opened, and behind it was Ravel, Yumi, Minori, Nejire, and Atla, and they saw that Sans is now awake!"

"Sans!"

Ravel said, as she spreads her fiery wings out and flies to Sans quickly.

She than wrapped her arms around Sans, and hugged him extremely tightly, afraid to let go of him for even a small second. Yumi, Minori, Nejire, and Atla also came into the room, as Atla than jumped on top of the bed, and hugs Sans, while Ravel is also hugging him, as she is also afraid to let go of Sans, not wanting to believe that it's in her head. It is a good thing that it is not happening her head, along with everybody else, as Sans spoke out.

"Woah, take it easy, Ravel, Atla. I'm not dead! I'm still here!"

Ravel smiled, as tears came out of her eyes, and spoke out.

"Sorry, I-It's just...we were so worried that you were dead! We thought that you weren't going to make it!"

Sans smiled, as Atla spoke out.

"I'm so happy you're still okay! We thought something happened to you!"

Sans nodded, as he than spoke out.

"I bet. Can any of you tell me what happened?"

Yumi than spoke out.

"We don't know what had just happened! All that we know is that some entity attacked, and we stayed inside of the house for protection. But we do not know the full details. Alphys can explain to you what had just happened."

Sans looks down a little bit, before he than nodded his head, as he than decides to wait for Alphys to come back, as she had just left the room to clean the floor.

4 minutes later...

Sans than looks at Alphys, as he than spoke out to her.

"So I was badly injured to the point that I fell into a coma."

Alphys nodded, as Minori and Yumi hugged Sans a little bit tightly, as Sans than spoke out.

"I-I don't remember how I got those injured all over me. All I remembered is that I got a call from Undyne and rushed straight into the city to help her. What happened after that?"

Alphys looked down, as she spoke.

"It all happened so fast. I was in my lab, when suddenly Undyne called me, that there was a creature destroying everything in the city. Everyone in the city, they tried everything to stop it. But no one has managed to kill it. I was hoping that the people I cared about were safe. Until Papyrus arrived, and carried you here."

The mention of Papyrus made everyone flinch, and Sans could tell that something bad has happened to his brother, as he than spoke out.

Papyrus! Please tell me, is my brother okay!?

Alphys and the others remained silent, but the girls has a look of horror on their faces, while Atla simply looked uneasy, as Alphys began to think inside of her mind.

'This is very a delicate situation. How can I explain this to hin? It's not like he's died or anything, it's just.. No, Alphys, you promised. No more lies. I just need to ease him into this.'

As Alphys began to try and speak out...suddenly, the door to Sans' room was kicked open by a certain robot.

Mettaton entered the room that Sans, Alphys, Atla, Nejire, Minori, Yumi, and Ravel Phenex are inside of.

"Alphys, darling, there you are! I was so worried I could have died!"

He came into the room fully, and had a bunch of bags in his hands, as he than continues to speak out to the one that made his body.

I tried to call you so many times.
Don't tell me you forgot to bring your cell phone.
Haaa. Anyways,

The moment that Mettaton saw Sans is awake, this made the robot freeze in his place, with Sans looking at Mettaton, wondering why he stopped. I cane back with the materials you need to--"

Before Mettaton could finish speaking, he than noticed Sans was up, and his eyes widened slightly. This made Sans feel sweat come down his head, as he only had one thought in his mind at seeing Mettaton.

'Oh no.'

Mettaton than extended his arms to drop the bags, as his expression was of relief, as he rushed over and hugged Sans tightly, making Sans very uncomfortable, due to the fact that Mettaton is a robot, well, more like a ghost inside of a robot body, and it's Yumi, Minori, and the others getting out of the way, as Mettaton spoke out.

Chibi Sans your alive! Alphys was worried sick about you!"

Alphys than spoke out to Mettaton.

"Mettaton, t-take it easy. Sans just got up."

Mettaton than separates from Sans, as he wipes a ghostly tear from his eyes.

"Sorry about that. I'm just glad you're still alive!"

Sans than smiled a little awkwardly at Mettaton...as he than spoke out to his friend.

"Yeah, I'm happy you survived too, Mettaton, but please don't give me a 'heart attack.'"

Sans said, making a pun about the soul that is embedded in the stomach area, before Sans turns serious again, as he looks at Alphys.

"Back to the topic. Alphys, be honest with me, what happened to Papyrus?"

Alphys looks down at the ground, as her mouth trembled a little bit, and Nejire, Yumi, Minori, and Ravel, they all had horrified expressions on their faces, as Alphys than spoke out to Sans, very unhappily.

"I...I think it is best that I should show you. If...I-If I tell you...you won't believe it. Please...f-follow m-m-me."

Sans, feeling a little bit uneasy by the tone of her voice, nodded his head, as he than stood up, and seeing his jacket, puts it on, as the tendrils on his back entered the jacket, making the scarves appear, as he than began to got up the stairs, before reaching Papyrus' room, and Alphys opened, and shows to Sans.

"Here he is."

Alphys than continues to speak out.

"H-he's resting inside the restoration capsule.
I c-covered his head and limbs with bandages, to make it less traumatizing to view. And what you're about to s-s-see...it is going to be so horrifying."

Sans looks at the room, more specifically, at the capsule, and he got close enough to it in order to see his brother inside of the capsule that he is currently being incased in...and his eyes widened in horror at what he is seeing before his very eyes. His brother...lost his limbs.

Not only that, but most of his head looks like it had been destroyed in the process. His brother, his poor twin brother, the state that he is in is so horrified. He covered his mouth, as his scarves than began to act up and change shape in response to the distress that he is feeling right now.

He has no idea how to explain what he is seeing or feeling in full details, as he than spoke out to his brother, even though he can't hear him.

"P-Papyrus...bro, w-what happened you."

Sans spoke out, as he reached his hand to try and touch his brother...only for his hand to slide on top some of glass that is part of the capsule. His tone of voice, it is filled with horror at the sight before him. He could not believe that this has happened to him. His brother. His poor brother. He is put into a state that is as severe is this, and even worse, he is not regenerating his injuries.

Sans looked immensely distressed at the state that his brother is in, tears welled up in his eyes at what he's seeing, as Alphys than began to explain why Papyrus became the way that he is now.

"As I was about to explain, when
Papyrus arrived here w-while carrying you in his arms...I was. glad he came. But, he was in a terrible state, almost unrecognizable. He looked like a zombie that had just came back to life."

"Deep down I was scared, but at the same time I didn't want to lose either of you. S-s0 I put aside mu fear and tried to help you two. I asked Papyrus
to wait in the living room while I asked Mettaton to help you on the condition of both you and Papyrus. But than...I heard a crash on the floor...and I looked...and saw what happened to Papyrus."

Alphys shook a little bit, as he recalled what happened to him when she turns back to see him.

"Papyrus had collapsed to the ground. His arms and legs were shattered into a million pieces. His injuries were so severe that his bone structure couldn't hold together. It was more grave than I had thought. Then I heard Papyrus mumble. I couldn't hear most of what he said, but there were a few lines at the end I understood. 'I failed...everyone is gone.' It m-must be a mistake! But I know Papyrus isn't the type to lie. I was in shock. I told myself th- that's not possible, this c-can't be happening."

Alphys than took a deep breath to compose herself, as she than spoke out.

After that, Mettaton headed into the city, searching for other survivors. He k-kept looking, searching
everywhere, even the f-forest. Days passed by, and Mettaton confirmed.. th-there was no one left alive, and the creature had disappeared without a trace. We're the only survivors left in this world."

This made Sans eyes widened...as he spoke out.

"Wh-What about the Underworld, Heaven? Are the they still intact?"

Alphys looks down and spoke out.

"I don't know. I tried to contact them...but I could not reach them. And that is if those creatures are able to reach Heaven and the Underworld."

Sans clenched his fist. Not wanting to believe what had just happened, as Alphys than spoke out to Sans again.

"I-I didn't know what to do, I l-lost everything and Undyne was nowhere to be seen. I couldn't imagine losing her, you, Papyrus, and Mettaton all at once. But now that you've woken up, maybe you can help your brother recover."

Sans looks at Alphys and nodded his head, before he looks back at Papyrus, unable to get over the fact of what had just happened to his own brother, as Alphys spoke out to Sans again.

"Also, there's something I-I need to know about you. You two are very unique people...because when I tried to see your souls...all I-I saw where these weird spheres with DNA Strands inside. They aren't souls, are they?"

Sans nodded his head, still looking rather disbelief, as he spoke out.

"That's right,they're living organisms. I knew sooner or later you'd figure it out. Welp, I guess there is no turning back then. But this stays between you and me. You may know a little about the CELLs, but you don't know their purpose or what makes them so different. The CELLs are the true definition of Evolution."

Unbeknownst to Sans, his lovers are listening to the conversation behind the door, with Ravel using some magic to cancel the ability for sounds to appear, as they listened to the conversation, and the explanation that Sans is going to give to Alphys, and unintentionally to them.

"CELL is an acronym, which stands for 'Cellular Evolutionary LeveL'. A symbiotic living organism created by the previous Royal Scientist, the origins of his creation remain a mystery even to this day. CELLs defy all laws of physics. Unbelievably, they are able to create their own energy which surpasses ordinary magic, even the most powerful ones that exist. But they are unable to survive without a host, because of the fact that...the CELL Cores are in the first stage of evolution. And because of this, they need a host to survive. But unlike other organisms that bond to people, they give the host more powerful magic. They give us nigh-immortality, strength, healing and evolve into new stage of evolution. People believe that the souls are made of nothing more than hopes and dreams...but there are missing pieces inside of the soul. But CELL, when it is injected into the soul, fills those gaps, and in time, the host becomes a perfectly evolved being. For example, if a Devil were to be injected with CELL, they would gain magic far beyond what is normally difficult, if not impossible to gain. And even the weakest Devils will evolve to the point where they will be able to surpass even the most powerful Satan-Class Devils alive. Of, if a human with a Quirk or a Semblance, or one that practices in the art of being a Shinobi, is injected with CELL, their semblance will evolve to their full potential, and the Huntsman or Hero, while not unstoppable, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Sans took a deep breath, as he continued explaining.

"My brother and eye lack souls...but instead have pure CELL Cores. My CELL Core give me magic that surpasses most others, while Papyrus' CELL Core gives him increased physicality, in other words, giving him enormous strength. This leads me to how the Red Souls of DETERMINATION and CELL are opposing to one another. You see, Red Souls and Cell Cores are different and opposing forces to one another. different. People who possess DETERMINATION have the power to control time and space, and can LOAD, SAVE, and RESET. But as long as the "CODE' exists, the entire world remains
stuck in a loop, at their mercy. Whether they're a pacifist, neutral, or genocider, none can escape a fate as terrible as this. However, the CELL is not bound be the 'CODE' and can live perfectly fine without it. It doesn't matter how much the 'CODE' tries to control or modify us, it will always fail in the end. From the CODE's perspective, CELLs are anomalies,
a threat to its existence. The 'CODE' demands perfection, no matter how people have to suffer, and how many are subjected to it. Red Souls...they have 2 different parts of it. One of which is about being yourself and what belongs to you, and the other is about to changing the timeline through the use of the CODE. DETERMINATION's RESET will affect anyone's memory. For better or for worse, everything returns to how it was without consequence and disregard to the individual that is, but those with CELLs are not effected by the RESETs are not in fact, can remember what happened clearly. The only way to remove code from a world, would be to have the most determined person transfer their code to a non-living object that is precious to them, an object of their desire, which will than free the world from the CODE. When it is is erased from existence, we are truly liberated and nature can finally take its course as intended. We can live without the 'CODE'. We don't need it for survival."

Sans than sighed, as he than spoke out.

"Of course...CELL Cores are not without a downside. Just because you are able to be nearly immortal, doesn't mean you're unstoppable. You can still be killed...and if you are about to die...that is where the second problem comes in. If the hose is nearly about to be killed, CELL Cores will 'overclock' itself, and go beyond its limit to activate a self-defense mechanism beyond the host's control. This will make the user turn into a mindless beast that attacks everything in sight, and gives them nearly unstoppable power. But once that is used up...it cannot be used again...and the host...will die for real, if they get caught in a situation that involves killing then yet again."

Sans looks sad, as he than spoke out.

"We were not made to be bio weapons, we were meant to preserve and protect people. Even if it means eliminating fallen CELLs. But apparently...

...we've already failed."

Later...

Sans is now outside of the house, as he sits down onto the ground, and looked up into the black and red sky that's above him. He looks up at what he is seeing before his eyes...as he clenched his fist with pure anger and self-hatred at what he is seeing before his eyes. Everyone...everything in the world...it is all gone. Many of his friends are gone, his city, destroyed, his world, they are all not longer living anymore, they do not exist anymore. The people are dead, not even Union City was safe from what had just happened. Sans has made an attempt to go to the Underworld, but he found himself unable to get inside of it. He tries to do the same to Heaven, but even that is not working very well. It seems that Heaven and the Underworld are using some form of magic to prevent anybody from entering and invading them, and this made Sans think that...they are still alive, just now accessible. And he wants to believe that a small fraction of humans are still alive in each places, and hopefully enough for the next generation of humans. But this does not make Sans fell any better at all. In fact, he felt very worse, as he has no idea what to think of any of this. He has no idea what to think of what had just happened to the world that he had once lived in. To the place that he had once known of, and now...now...this is the place that he is forced to see before his very eyes, and he hates it. He hates what it is that has happened to his home, all because of some unknown creature that had attacked it. He stood up, and clenched his fists, as he looks up at the sky, his anger boiling over the top, before it froze...as he felt so mad, that his expression is simply flat. And then...he spoke out to himself.

"If I even make an encounter with that creature again...I am gonna make sure that it pays for what it has done."

DNA Markings than began to appear on his eye lids and past them, as he released a bit of his magical aura, to show that he is still very angry. But he does not do anything, knowing that there is nothing that he can do. He sighed, as he looks down at the ground...and at the water that is in front of him, as he looks at the ocean, they are reflective, but it is black and infinite and vast, almost like a void that has decided to invade the Earth that he is in, a darkness that is consuming the world that the planet's now entirely defenseless against. But he says nothing else, as he than began to look down at the ground, and he began to think of something inside of his mind. But what he does not know...is that Sans is being watched from within the house that he is living in.

Ravel and Minori looked very worried and...sad...at what happened to the Planet. Everything...everyone...they're all gone. And they have no idea how it had happened to them. Ravel is even looking outside at the barren planet that is now through the window. The buildings are destroyed, the people on the ground are dead, as their bodies litter all over the entirety of the planet's ground, even though they can't see it, as it is so far away. She even is looking at the vast ocean before he eyes, and she felt nothing more than sadness at the sight that is before her very eyes. And that is not the worst part. Ravel Phenex had tried to enter the Underworld, her home, in an effort to try and see her family, but because of what has happened to the human world, she cannot enter the Underworld anymore. Because of this, she tried again and again and again, in order to try and enter the Underworld, but nothing worked. It did nothing more than make her distressed, until it finally made her understand, the Underworld is no longer accessible. She tries to use her magic circle to try and call her family. But nothing is working. The Underworld has disconnected itself to the Human world entirely. And the same must have been done for Heaven itself.

Yumi and Minori looked sad, along with Nejire. Their friends may have been out there...and they might have been killed by what had just happened to the outside world itself. And now...they have nothing to go back to. They have no idea what to do inside of the situation that they are. Everything that they loved for a very long time, all that they had cared about, it is all gone, all destroyed by the one creature that no one's been able to stop. By an unknown creature that is unable to be halted. And whatever that creature is...it is responsible for the destruction of all life on earth. It is obviously not the Trihexa, due to the fact that it is still sealed. In fact, whatever that creature is, did a lot more destructive damage than what the Trihexa was able to do in the past.

Ravel Phenex looks outside the window still, as he than spoke out.

"What do we do now?"

Yumi looks at Ravel Phenex, as she than spoke out.

"For the first time of my life, I don't know. Everything and everyone that we cared so much about...it is all simply gone. Everyone that we cared about is gone. Our homes are gone, our cities are gone, every single thing that is on Earth...it is all gone, and we have no way to return to it."

Minori also has a distressed sad look on his face, as she hugged Eri, and Eri friend that for comfort. The both of them have no idea whar to do. While Atla Fayon is looking outside of the window to see Sans in this distressed state, as she than opens the door, and walks outside. Ravel Phenex than looks at Atla Fayon, and follows her, as she and Atla walk to Sans, who is sitting down onto the ground, looking up into the sky in a state of anger and rage at the status of his home, as Atla spoke out.

"Sans?"

Sans raised his head, as he than turned around to look at Atla Fayon and Ravel Phenex, as Sans spoke out.

"Raven, Atla? Do you want something from me?"

Both shook their head, as Ravel spoke out.

"Are you okay, Sans? You are being so...quiet."

Sans looks down at the ground, as he spoke out.

"It's just that...everything and everyone we had cared so deeply about...it is all gone. It is all disappeared. All because of something that cannot he stopped. I have no idea how this happened. And now...now we're the only ones left on this barren wasteland of what was once our home. I..."

Sans looks down, as he than spoke out.

"I don't know what to do here."

Ravel than hugs Sans from behind, as Atla does the same, surprising him a little bit, as Ravel than spoke out to him.

"Sans...you are not the only one that is feeling distressed at what has happened to the world that we live in. All of us are. Me, Atla, Yumi, Minori, Nejire. We are all feeling very upset at what it is that has happened to the world that we once know of. But it would be even worse if I had lost you. And it would be the same for Atla as well."

Atla nodded her head at Sans, which made him a little surprised, but he than felt happy, as he spoke out, softly.

"Raven, Atla...thank you...and I actually need your help with something."

Sans stood up from the ground, as he than spoke out to them.

"I need to find some food and drinks for us to bring to the house, because Alphys has planned something. We are gonna he going off of this world, and try to find a way to fix Papyrus."

This made them both surprised, as she spoke out.

"Why are we getting out of Earth?"

Sans spoke out.

"Because there is nothing left for us here. We cannot enter Heaven of the Underworld, everyone around is is dead, and we have nothing to go back to. Besides, I need to get something for the laboratory and..."

This made Sans freeze and stop talking, as he remembers how afraid he is of hospitals. He looks down at the ground, feeling distressed, as Ravel grabbed him by the hand, and spoke out to him.

"Don't worry, Sans. I'm there for you along with Atla. Especially with that fear of hospitals that you have."

Sans looks and nodded his head. He than took out a backpack, and spoke out.

"Let's go then."

Sans than grabbed both Ravel and Atla by the hand, and he closed his eyes, as he and his 2 girlfriends began to turn Aqua Green, before all 3 have disappeared completely.

For the past 4 days, Sans, Ravel, and Atla have began to go to different stores and shops, in order to get the supplies that they need in order to go through the journey that they are about to go to. They got spaghetti, fruits, vegetables, sweet, candy, chips, and all that sort of stuff, but for Sans...he has another thought in mind. Coming along with Ravel and Atla, they want to a laboratory, and while Sans hesitated a little bit, due to how afraid he is of hospitals, he went inside of the lab, and began to search around for equipment, but Sans also found something else. He found a few vials that contain CELL Cores, and they can be used to be worn around the people that he loves and care about so deeply. He found 6 of them, enough for his girlfriends, and one for Alphys, as he went back inside of the house along with the Ravel Phenex, who are able to get what they need. They got syringes, needle and thread, a scalpel, drill, and some tools for construction. Alphys needed these to complete the machine that she has, as she was able to finish by the beginning of the 5th day. Alphys puts her phone high on volume, as she than spoke out.

"Mettaton, is everyone ready?"

Mettaton nodded, as she spoke back to Alphys.

"Of course it is, darling, everything is ready."

Alphys nodded, as she spoke out.

"That's g-good! Come join us in the infirmary room."

Mettaton turns off the phone, and Alphys does the same, and Alphys turns to Sans, as she spoke out.

"Do you hear that, Sans? We're going to leave this place."

Sans looks at Alphys and nodded.

"Yeah, I heard."

Ravel Phenex, who was sitting next to Sans, grabbed him by the hand, as Sans held his hand tightly around Ravel's hand, with the both of them looking at the broke form of Papyrus, and Alphys spoke out.

Sans. E-Everything is going to be alright. We're going to find the material to-"

As she spoke out, an alarm was heard, and Alphys turned to see that the computer is beginning to malfunction, as a bunch of warning signs appeared. A glitch had occurred, right when they are about to leave.

No! NONONONONONONO! That's not supposed to
happen! I-I CAN' T STOP IT!!!"

Mettaton enters the room, as he than spoke out.

"Alphys, what's going on?!"

Sans, looking at the computer, than sprang into action, as he spoke out.

"I'll take care of it!"

He than got to the computer, and began to type as fast as he can to remove the bug that is infecting the systems. By the time he finished removing the bug from the computer, at the exact same time, the house began to glow...before it vanished from the ground...as the same mysterious voice from nowhere, spoke out.
