Sans, Ruby, and Sonic are now outside, with Crescent Rose now out. As the both of them are the fastest of the group, they are there most able to find a Chaos Emerald, due to how fast they can be. But as they are walking around trying to find them, both Sonic and Ruby got hungry. Luckily, Ruby brought a box of cookies, and Sans, he had to buy a chili dog for Sonic. Luckily, there was one stand there, and so, all 3 of the speedsters began to eat at a bench.

"So...any ideas and where to put all of the Chaos Emeralds, once we get it out hands on them?"

Sans whispered to the others, as they are done eating with their mouths full. Sonic spoke out.

"Well...we did use to have that place that allows us to keep them safe. But because we're in a different world right now..."

Sans sighed, as Ruby spoke out.

"Would Mount Ebott count as a perfect place to keep the Emeralds safe?"

Sans nodded.

"That could work...but we still need to put them in a place where they can be truly locked up and secured....unless Sonic wants to use them, of course. Ebott maybe a very big location, but it does not mean that it can safely hide the Emeralds."

Ruby deflates a bit, but Sans than spoke out.

"Which is why I have Alphys make something that can safely hide them. Hopefully, it should be enough for not even Eggman to know where the Chaos Emeralds are hiding in."

Ruby looks at Sans and smiled at him, as she than spoke out.

"Well...at least we have some very good friends that are able to help us."

Sonic smiled and spoke out.

"Yeah, and your friend Alphys has been a real good pal to tails, due to her machinery."

Sans smiled at what Sonic had just said to him. Alphys and Tails, the meeting between both geniuses had been a very great one. Alphys respects Tail's intelligence for someone his age, and Tails is very impressed at Alphys mixing both machinery and magic together.

Sans looks down at himself, as he began to think of something that is really making him nervous. Eggman and Ironwood. Both with mechanics. Eggman is the brains, Ironwood is the brawn. It is a really deadly combination, when you think about it. It makes a chill be felt out of his back, as it began to crawl downwards. Sonic notices the unease expression on Sans' face, and he spoke out to him, rather concerned.

"Yo, Sans. You're okay, buddy?"

Sans looks at Sonic, before speaking out.

"Yeah. I'm fine. It just feels a lot of  concerning about both Ironwood and Eggman together. Like, really concerning, due to how much of a dangerous combination they both are. A brain for Eggman and a Brawn for Ironwood. This would make defeating them both an immensely difficult challenge to take on."

Sonic than puts a hand on Sans' shoulder, as he spoke out.

"Hey, don't sweat it, dude. You've got a bunch of friends on your side. And with them being with the rest of us fighting Ironwood, it shouldn't be a sweat for either of us."

Ruby smiled, as she pumped her fists into the air.

"Yeah, and with all 3 off us speedy people, he is going to have a difficult time beating us all!! And besides, we're all gonna be just like-"

Ruby than began to make some karate moves and made some sound effects, that Sonic finds laughable, due to Ruby being silly. Regardless, he than spoke out.

"Thing is, Sans. We ain't doing this alone. Besides...with all 3 of us together, there is nothing we can't do."

Sans looks surprised at such the very nice words that Sonic had just said to Sans, before he made a smile on his pretty face.

"Thanks, guys. I needed that."

Sonic smiled as he pays him on the back. Sans nodded, before he jumps down.

"Anyway. If we're done eating, let's say we go back to hunting down the Chaos Emeralds."

Sonic and Ruby nodded, as Sans than spreads his wings, and all 3 of them began to run as fast as they could around the city, in an attempt to find the Emeralds.

But as they continue to fly around...when they got to a section of the city where there are no people present...

FZAPPPPP!!!!

A beam came of nowhere and nearly struck Ruby. Thankfully, Sans was able to use his scarves as we shield, but he is also knocked back by it. Luckily for Sans, he is not hurt by that, and stood up like he had not taken any hits at all, since he had curled himself up and turned into a ball, which acts as a defensive shield to anyone trying to attack him.

He than uncurled, as a familiar laughter was suddenly heard. Sonic looks up at the sky, and spoke out the name of someone that he knows of.

"Eggman!!!"

And true to his words, Eggman came back, and is in his vehicle again, with a giddy smile on his face.

"Ahh. Sonic. It seems you have decide to come back with your other 2 friends, who I will make sure are destroyed."

Sans smirked, so he spoke out to Eggman.

"As well as friends that are gonna make sure you have a bad time."

"We're ready to face you, Eggman. So come down and fight us!!"

Ruby spoke out, as she swung Crescent Rose, ready to fight off against Eggman for attacking her friends, or, in the case of Sans, her lover. But Eggman smiled, as he than spoke out to the red cloaked huntress.

"Oh, you won't be fighting me, girl!! No. You'll be fighting something else that I created. All 3 for you to fight off against. So come forth, my creations."

Than, something began to come in fast towards all three of them, and all of them comparable to Sonic's speed. When they finally showed themselves, Sonic was not happy with what he is seeing now.

Needless to say, Sans, Ruby, and Sonic are not very happy with what they are seeing right now. Than, Sonic looks down at Metal Sonic's chest...and sees a Chaos Emerald embedded inside.

'Oh no. Eggman already got a Chaos Emerald with him, and now, he is using to empower one of his own machines. Looks like we need to think of something.'

"Are you serious? We have to fight those things?"

Sans spoke out, as Sonic spoke back.

"Hey, don't sweat it! I've face them more times then I could count. Mostly Metal Sonic, the one with the Chaos Emerald infused to his chest."

Sans smiled, as he than spoke out.

"Well, let's get it over with than, shall we?"

Sans spoke out, as they than faced the Robotic Copies of Sonic.

Ruby, Sonic, and Sans got ready to fight, and they stared at the robot, as the robots stared back at them. Fierce determination resonated from the both of them, neither of them hear to back down from a fight.

All 6 of them stared at each other, before Sonic spoke out.

"Alright, Eggman. Bring it!"

Eggman smiled, hoping for Sonic to say that, before commanding out to the robotic copies.

"Destroy them!! And take the Chaos Emerald that they have with them!!!"

At this command, all 3 of the robotic copies, as if acting as one, immediately began to attack all 3 of the speedsters present, as they sheet to follow their creator's orders.

Silver Sonic activated his speed, as the thrusters shoots him towards Sonic, who than began to run alongside him, and began to race with Silver Sonic. Both Silver Sonic and Sonic unleashed a Spin Dash at each other, in an attempt to overpower the other hedgehog, but the both of them are evenly matched. Sonic jumped in the air, and tried to hit Silver Sonic, but Silver Sonic got out of the way, and jumped in the air himself, as he than shot spikes out of his body. Thankfully, Sonic was able to dodge them, as he than got close to Silver and hit him. Silver got damaged, but he than turned around and unleashed a powerful and painful punch at Sonic, hurting him as well. Still, that does not mean that Sonic is going to give up in fighting against the oldest, mechanical copy of himself this easily. No, he is going to continue fighting against the robot, no matter how much amount of pain he is in.

And because he is very stubborn to give up, he is going to keep fighting Silver Sonic, as he jumps in the air, and spins right into him. Silver Sonic jumped back from that, and Sonic attempted to stomp down onto him. But Silver Sonic turned into his buzzsaw form, and used it to burrow deep into the groin, while Sonic simply landed down. He than looks around, before his eye twitched, hearing something coming up from behind. He than looks behind, and immediately jumps out of the way, as Silver Sonic made an attempt to slice him up into 2 pieces. Sonic lands on the ground without any injury. He than began to spin around Silver Sonic as fast as he could, but Silver Sonic charged at a directions, and made Sonjc jump back , as Silver tried to grab him. Fortunately for Sonic, though, that failed, and Sonic than kicked Silver Sonic hard in the face. Silver Sonic than shook the very hard feeling off the kick, before he looks at Sonic, who than decides to taunt him.

"You're too slow!!"

Needless to say, Silver Sonic is not happy, as he than began to charge at Sonic again, and is ready to run him over. Sonic smiled, as he than began to go full speed towards Silver Sonic, before the both of them collided, and a very powerful shockwave takes place.

She was able to counter most of Mecha's spinning attacks at her. She even jumped high into the air, and does her own spin attack at Mecha to try and counter with Mecha's spin attack. Mecha is shown to be not only the tallest Robotic version of Sonic Ruby has to face, but this one also is immensely durable. Not even Crescent Rose, with the upgrade it has in sharpness and the turning of the blade, cannot cut through it completely. The best that it can do is scratch it. But that does not mean that Ruby is going to give up this easily and let Mecha win.

She charges forward at Mecha with Crescent Rose, as she attempts to find a weak spot that Mecha Sonic might possess. But as she tried that, Mecha Sonic than launched a bunch of energy spheres from his chest, and they all began to rush to where Ruby is at. Ruby, with very little time to waste, immediately decides to try and deal with the spheres that are coming in fast towards her.

She than used Crescent Rose to block some of Mech Sonic's projectiles in an attempt to prevent herself from getting very hurt. Thankfully, her Aura was able to protect Crescent Rose from getting damaged, due to the fact that she is holding onto it. Mecha Sonic than tried to speed towards her, but Ruby than used Petal Burst to go around Mecha Sonic in an attempt to hopefully confuse Mecha Sonic, and surprisingly, it is working for Ruby, as her speed is very different compared to Sonic's way of speeding up, and Sans way of speeding up. Mecha tries to find a way to hit her, but it is too late, as Ruby Rose reformed from behind, and used Crescent Rose to try and cause some actual damage to Mecha Sonic. And this time, Little Red Riding Hood became successful at it.

When she struck Crescent Rose at Mecha Sonic, she was able to slice off one of his arms, which severely damaged him. Sparks began to come out of the stump of his left shoulder, as he held onto it, like the arms is organic and it is bleeding, even though it is not.

Ruby smiled, as she finally manage to severely damage Mecha Sonic by cutting off one of his arms. But Mecha Sonic does not seem to be too bothered by that, and he, instead, is more focus on trying to defeat Ruby Rose at all costs. Ruby than began to use Crescent Rose's sniper function in order to destroy Mecha Sonic's ability of sight by shooting the large glowing orange line that acts as the source of his ability to see. But Mecha Sonic used his right arm, which is still intact, in order to defend against the bullets, as they dented and deflected against his metal hide. And after Ruby stopped shooting, Mecha decides to go on the offensive, and to make his move.

He crouched down, before he than charges straight at her with his Thrusters. Ruby Rose took a step back, before running full speed ahead, and than, used Petal Burst to speed up towards Mecha Sonic as fast as she could, before clashing.

Metal Sonic and Sans pushed against each other, as they used their full speed in order to try and bring the other one down to the ground. But both Sans and Metal Sonic are much more even, as they both can fly, and they have some equipment of their own that allows them to keep up with the other. As they kept on pushing each other, they than suddenly rocketed up into the air, and hit a large Atlas bullhead, denting the bottom of the vehicle. They than began to fall, but the both of them began to fly in the air, and began to clash with each other again in an attempt to try and bring down the other.

They hit and clashed each other, again and again and again, none of them actually getting hurt by their strikes, by their punches. They both look like fast blurs in the sky, and only Sonic and Ruby could keep up with the speed that both Metal Sonic and Sans are showing right now. Looks like Metal Sonic is the only one that is capable of matching the strikes of Sans. And had some equipment that can help him stand against the Abyss Magic of Sans himself.

Sans tries to fire an Abyss Shard at Metal Sonic, in hopes that it can pierce him. But Metal Sonic had a trick up his sleeve that stopped him from getting hit by the Abyss Shard that Sans had just thrown out at him.

Suddenly, a Black Shield shaped like a Diamond appeared all around Metal Sonic's body, and the Abyss Shard bounced off of Metal Sonic harmlessly. Sans' left eye twitched a hit, as he than spoke out, very annoyed.

"Are you serious? He can make a forcefield? Well...at least I have my own. And besides..."

He than raised his arm, and Metal Sonic began to turn into a much darker blue than before.

"Making something such as this is a big mistake on your part, Eggman, you fatso."

He than began to slam Metal Sonic all over the place, from the building to the ground to the vehicles, until they are able to make Metal Sonic stop. But only for a little bit, before he flies up again.

This made Eggman a bit ticked off, as he shouted out.

"Who are you calling Fatso?"

Sonic and Ruby began to laugh, as Sans smiled, as he spoke out.

"Guess I made an Egg-cellent insult."

This made Sonic and Ruby laugh harder, as Eggman is getting more and more madder by the minute.

"Ghhh...you're even more worse than Sonic. No matter, Metal Sonic, do whatever you can to destroy Sans."

Metal Sonic nodded, as he than charged at full speed towards Sans, in an attempt to use all of his powers to kill him. But Sans is not going to be this easy to beat, due to how powerful he can be. So when Metal Sonic charged at Sans, Sans than charged at full speed towards Metal Sonic, as he than summoned Gaster Abysd Blasters behind him, before he extended his hand, and fired the Blasters at Metal Sonic, in hopes to vaporize him.

But Metal Sonic immediately got out of the way, and began to go around Sans as fasts as he could. He began to spin and zip around Sans, and Sans is having trouble keeping up with Metal Sonic.

"Hell...this robot is fast. I now think that I can see why Eggman decides to send his creation to try and stop the three of us."

He than raised his hand up into the air, as he than began to use his Gravity Magic onto Metal Sonic again, and since the shield is down, it is now taking damage, as chunks of scrap metal and parts of Metal Sonic's bodies began to fly all over the place, before slamming down onto the ground. Metal Sonic began to stand up, as Sans landed on the ground. Metal Sonic than looks up at Sans, before he flies towards Sans again, and Sans got ready to use his Blue Magic on Metal once more, when suddenly, he got saved by someone who is charging at Metal Sonic from behind Sans.

Ruby than came out of nowhere, and kicked Metal Sonic in the face, as he attempted to charge at Sans and attack him once again. Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic, both of them damaged themselves, began the walk towards them, before they collapsed at both sides of Metal Sonic. Ruby and Sonic than landed beside Sans, as Sans looks up at Eggman, who had a frustrated look on his face.

"Is that the best you can do, Eggman? Send a hunch for your toys at us?! You need to try better than that!"

Sonic than points up at Eggman, as he shouted out to him.

"Give it up, Eggman! You are outnumbered and outmatched!! Your robots are too damaged to fight, and you are defeated!"

But Eggman does not seem to want to give up just yet, as he than made a very sinister smiled at Sonic, and Sonic knows what that smile is whenever Eggman makes it. If Eggman makes a smile like that, than it means that he has another trick up his sleeve, which he seems to have, if he is going to defeat both Sonic and his 2 other friends.

"This is not over yet, Sonic!"

Eggman spoke out to him, as Sonic looks at the 2 robotic counterparts of his, Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic, as Eggman than spoke out again.

"For you see, I have one last surprise to give!!! Metal Sonic, combine with your counterparts, to become more powerful!!!"

Metal Sonic went next to the 2 other robotic counterparts, before he touched them, and his eyes began to glow. They glowed so bright that Sans and the others had to turn away. As they did, Metal Sonic began to fuse with both Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic. Their bodies turn to energy, as they went into Metal Sonic, and Metal Sonic's body began to glow himself.

When the glowing stopped, Eggman spoke out in a boastful tone.

"Meet...Metallix."

Sans' left eye twitched at what he is seeing...before he spoke out loud.

"You have gotta be kidding me."

Sans took a step back, as Sonic and Ruby did the same. Metallix than launched himself in the air, and tried to strike the ground that all 3 speedsters are standing on. Sans, Ruby, and Sonic jumped back, but the power of the punch is so great, that all 3 of them are knocked back by the force of the punch itself.

When the landed, Sans fired an Gaster Abyss Blaster at Metallix. But Metallix got out of the way. Ruby fired a Explosive Round from Crescent Rose, but the bullets did very little to hurt him. Sonic ran up to Metallix as fast as he could, and tried to strike at him with a homing attack, at full speed, but he simply bounced off of Metallix's metal hide, painfully, as began to hold his head.

"Okay...dude's tougher than I thought."

All 3 of the speedsters looked, as they are now very unease about this, and Sans spoke out.

"This is so not good. Metal Sonic fused with other robot copies...and now...now they are so strong for all of us."

Sonic turns to look at Sans, and spoke out.

"Do you have any suggestions?"

Sans was about to answer...when suddenly...

"CHAOS SPEAR!!!!!"

An unknown voice shouted out, as yellow projectiles came out of nowhere and struck Metallix, pushing him back. Than, when the projectiles were gone...someone landed on the ground. Sans looked shocked, as he spoke out.

"What in the...who are you?"

The figure looks back, but Sonic...he laughs, as he spoke out.

"I never thought I'd be seeing you again."

Sonic smiled, as he than spoke out.

"Long time no see...Shadow."
