Abyss and the others are now in Kyoto, and when Abyss turns around, he saw that there is a field of some kind, a dome surrounding the entirety of Kyoto. The dome is made of what seems to be a combination of spiritual energy and flames, and behind the dome, are the Zombies and Hounds, as they are trying to bust themselves in. But because of what the dome is made of, they are simply incinerated and burned alive by the dome's immensely hot flames. Abyss and the others are stunned, as he spoke out.

"My god, how long has she been doing this?"

Kunou looked sadly, as she than spoke out to him.

"It has been going on for an entire year. My mother, when she saw that all of the sanctuaries all over the world, with the exception of the Atlas Kingdom, failed, she began to use her connection to Spiritual Energy, combined with her flames, to make a dome this powerful in order to keep those creepy things out. But she is getting weakened overtime as she is doing this, and she had to suck out spiritual energy and absorb them into herself, all in an effort to try and keep herself as awake as she can. To make sure the dome does not fail. But she...she began growing weaker. She is running out of spiritual energy to absorb, and soon, she will become too tired and weaken to hold the dome together. She will become too exhausted, and all of Kyoto, it will be consumed."

This made Abyss stunned and very unhappy, as he realizes what she meant. This place is one of the 2 places that are able to keep the remnants of humanity safe, and Yasaka is beginning to lose power. If this keeps up, she will fall, and all of Kyoto will fall with her. This made Abyss unhappy, but luckily, he has something that can help her, which is what she had discussed Kunou about. But this is only a temporary fix. In order to find a more permanent fix for Yasaka and Kunou, he is going to need to find a CELL Core vial that he can inject Yasaka with, in order for her to make herself stronger than before. He has had this work on Ravel and Atla a bunch of times in the past, and over the past 2 years, it became effective. It was able to grant them the power that they need in order to make themselves stronger than before, and it has aided them in the fight against the Zombies. But now, he needs to find where the remaining ones might be at, and very unfortunately for Abyss, there is only one place that might still have them, and it is likely the most dangerous place to be in, especially with how severe it is. He just hopes they luck will be on his side.

Abyss than spoke out.

"So...where is she?"

Kunou than spoke out to the group.

"Follow me."

She than began to walk, as Abyss and the others began to follow her. As the group looked around, they saw that it is packed with more humans than before, as well as devils and fallen angels, but for an odd reason, there are no angels in this place. As Abyss and the others looked around, Ganyu looked around, and she looked in awe at the sight that is before her eyes:

She has always thought that her home is beautiful, but this place, Abyss' world, is a bit more beautiful than that. She looked around all over the place, and she began to wonder to herself.

'I wonder, what does all of this look like before the strange, unknown event happened.'

As Ganyu thought to herself., Ravel can looked around, and she felt immense worry to the people that live here. Some of the people here belonged to Union, with a pregnant mother grabbing onto her son's hand, as she held her stomach, both of them felt scared for each other's wellbeing. She cannot believe that this has happened to her world, as Abyss than spoke out.

"Kunou, if you don't mind me asking, what were you doing outside of your home? I mean, you are well aware of how dangerous it is, right?"

Kunou looks at Abyss, as she than spoke out.

"I do know. The only reason I went outside, is because of the fact that I was trying to find something that will help mother be feeling better. I knew how dangerous it is, and I had bodyguards with me, but they never stood a chance. And that is where you came in, finding me in that dangerous position."

Abyss looks at Kunou and nodded his head, as he walks alongside Kunou. And it feels odd to be waking alongside a girl who must be a 12-year old, especially since she is at nearly the same height that Abyss is in, only she is at the height of 4'7. But Kunou does not seem to care that much, as Abyss than continues down the road, and follows Kunou. Abyss closed his eyes a little bit, as he began to think to himself on what is happening, and he still cannot believe that this has happened. He just hopes that he can do something to help this safe haven.

As Abyss and the others continue on, Kunou finally stopped in her tracks, as she spoke out.

"We're here."

Abyss and the others looked in front of them to see a large structure before their eyes.

Abyss and the others, along with Kunou, they are now in front of what seems to be a place of sorts. It is very large, more larger than even the largest mansion that has ever been created by human hands. Ganyu looked in awe at the sight, especially with how divine it looks when she sees the spiritual energy surrounding the place and making it glow a dark blue color.

Abyss looked at the house, but he than noticed something that caught his attention. The house began to flicker, as if it is about to lose power very, very soon. And he is not the only one who saw it. Kunou also saw it to, and she spoke out.

"Oh no, Mother! We need to hurry!"

Abyss nodded, as he and the others began to run as fast as they can into the building, in order to try and help the mother of Kunou, and what they saw stunned them.

Sitting onto the ground, all on her knees, is a woman in who appears to be in her late 20s or something. Her hair is blond and wears a yellow kimono and black sleeves with skulls on them. Her Fox tails and ears are out and exposed for everyone to see her true self. But she is not feeling well at all. In fact, she looks like that she is nearly having her life being held on by a thread, like she is going to die at any moment. And she is about to shake, like she is about to have a seizure in as second later, and yet, it is not going to happen.

"Mother!"

Kunou said, as she ran up to Yasaka, and Yasaka looked to see that Kunou is back.

"Kunou...you're finally...here."

When Yasaka spoke out, her voice sounded week, like she had just pushed herself to far in a war that had threatened her land. Kunou held her mother and held onto her shoulders, as she than used all she can to re-energize her own parent, quickly. But as she is doing that, Yasaka than put her hand onto the ground, as her breath began to be deep, her weakened, as she spoke out.

"Kunou, I...I can't hold onto this barrier for any longer. I'm...I am about to reach my limit."

Kunou than looks at her mother, as she spoke out.

"Well...there is someone that can help you!"

As Yasaka looked behind Kunou, she looks to see that Abyss is walking up to the queen of the Yokai herself. She looked confused, as she has never seen this person before, and than, Abyss spoke out to Yasaka.

"Don't worry, miss. I got this under control for you."

He than held out his right hand, as she than saw something on it, a circle on both the palm and on the back of his hands. And than, when that happened, the circles, or at least, the skin inside of the circles, began to change color, becoming an aqua green, as energy began to rise up and be condensed into a ball, with the left scarf melting and changing into what appears to be DNA, as it moved and waved around.

Abyss was able to make an energy sphere with his hands, as the circles on the palm and the back of the hands closed an aqua green color, with the CELL Core exposed and showing itself to Kunou, who looked stunned at the sight of it. Yasaka also looked stunned at what Abyss has inside of him, but Abyss than began to walk up to Yasaka, and offer the orb to her.

"Here, take this."

Yasaka looked confused, as she than spoke out.

"What...what is that?"

Abyss smiled at the Kyuubi, as he than spoke out to her in a soothing tone.

"Something that will help you rejuvenate your body, as well as making you a bit more stronger than you are in your normal state. It should make your powers over fire and spiritual energy more stronger as well. Trust me in this."

Yasaka looked down at herself, as she felt her body beginning to weaken, and than she looked outside her window, and see her some beginning to flicker, the flames even being extinguished for a couple of seconds before reigniting to try and burn the Zombies. Yasaka sighed. She knows she cannot argue with this, as she is in trouble. Plus, Abyss seems to be helping her, and wants to give her something that can aid her in all of it. So, without any further hesitation, Yasaka than extended her hand out, and she grabbed onto the ball, and held it into her hands. Yasaka looked down at it and sighed, as she began to think of what will happen if she lets Kyoto, one of the 2 safest places on the planet, besides Atlas. She knows that she will need to use her power in order to make sure that it is safe. But at the exact same time, she needs something to make it more stronger than before, and her powers are beginning to weaken, due to prolonged use of her powers. So, without thinking, she held the Energy Cell to her chest, and closed her eyes, as she than felt something. And than, all of a sudden, the Energy Cell began to shrink, as it than began to be absorbed into her body, and her tails, fox ears, hair and eyes began to change into an Aqua Green color, as she felt her powers, refreshed and much stronger.

When Yasaka opened her eyes, she was shocked at how strong her powers are, as she did not expect for that to happen. She looks down at herself, as she than felt her powers, having been recharged, and is now much more stronger than ever before. When she looked up at Abyss, she spoke out.

"It...it really worked."

Kunou, the moment that she had heard this, ran to Yasaka, and leapt into her mother's arms, and felt herself feeling happy for the very first time, due to the fact that Yasaka is now refreshed.

Yasaka was a little but caught by surprise at the sudden action that Kunou is doing. But regardless, she returns to gesture to her daughter.

And Kunou was very happy for this happening. Abyss' group looked at the sight that is before them, and they were very happy for that. Even Abyss smiled, but he felt a little bit weakened, as his left DNA then star to vanish, due to the fact that Abyss had sacrificed a lot of his power. He can now only summon 11 Blasters at the same time, and no longer 44. He looks down at the ground, as Ravel spoke out.

"(Gasp) Sans, your wing..."

This made Kunou and Yasaka stop, as they looked to see that Abyss' left scarf is gone, as the DNA was in the middle of vanishing, as Kunou and Yasaka watched, as it than vanished from sight. Abyss looked at the left, and seeing the wing is gone, as he spoke out.

"Eeeeh...not surprising. I knew this will happen."

This made Kunou and Yasaka confused, as Kunou than spoke out to him.

"Sans, what happened to you?"

Abyss than looks at Kunou, as he spoke out.

"Remember how I said that if I use this power, it will make me half as strong as I usually am? Well, this is what I meant. I am now weaker than before, and my powers have also been weakened. But, it will recharge and I'll regain the magic that I had exchanged to your mother, just for time to think of a more effective replacement method to give your mother something that can increase her power without needing me to continuously halve my power to empower her."

Kunou than spoke out to Abyss.

"How long will it take for you to be back to normal?"

Abyss than spoke out.

"It will take me an hour to be back to full power, and for your mother, luckily, it will take 24 hours. Which means that we need to start thinking of a plan."

Kunou looked unhappy, as Yasaka than stood up and spoke out.

"I understand. After all, even with all the help that you have given to me, the solution you gave to me is only temporary, and it will not last long. In time, the process will simply restart and I will be forced to live another year at being drained and weakened one again."

Yasaka than looks down at her hands and clenched them, as she spoke out.

"Sans, if that is what my daughter had called you, I noticed that you had something inside of your chest, something similar to those creature from outside."

Abyss than spoke out.

"You mean the CELL Core."

This caught Yasaka and Kunou's attention, as she spoke out.

"CELL Core?"

Abyss nodded, as he spoke out.

"Yes, CELL Core. The word, CELL, is an acronym. It stands for Cellular Evolutionary Level. It was made for the purpose of evolving an entity to their true, evolved forms. It is a symbiotic living organism created by the previous Royal Scientist, the origins of his creation remain a mystery even to this day. CELLs defy all laws of physics. Unbelievably, they are able to create their own energy which surpasses ordinary magic, even the most powerful ones that exist. But they are unable to survive without a host, and as you can see, I am a host to one, in the place of where a person's soul would be placed at."

Yasaka looked at Abyss, as she than spoke out.

"You seem to know a lot about this so-called, CELL Core, Sans."

Sans than looked at Yasaka in the eyes, as he spoke out.

"A lot about it? Miss, I know everything about it. The only one I don't know, is who made it, as well as the origins in now it is made. In fact, I am one of the 2 people that is born with Pure CELL inside a body. The other's my brother. My brother has been given insane strength and speed, which means that he had enchanted physicality, and I am more focused on utilizing powerful magic. It is thanks to that I am able to do stuff that would normally not be possible for humans or devils to be capable of doing."

Yasaka looks down, as she than spoke out.

"So...what happens if someone were to be injected with a CELL Core, even with a soul?"

Abyss than looks at Yasaka in the eyes, as he spoke out.

"If you are to be injected with it, than your entire being wound evolve. Because of the nature of you supernatural entities, you have some...gaps, inside of your souls. But the CELL Core can fill in those gaps, and make the entity a completely evolved being. The only downside, is that it takes a year to make you completely evolved. However, it will allow you to last longer when you use your powers. Possibly for a few more years."

Yasaka looked down at the ground, as she than spoke out.

"Do you know where the CELL Core would likely be at, then?"

Abyss looked down for a little bit, choosing his answer carefully, before he raised his head and nodded, as he than spoke out to Yasaka.

"I do...and it is in a place that I really wished that I didn't need to go to."

Yasaka looked confused, as she than spoke out.

"Really? Where?"

Abyss sighed, as he than spoke out.

"It is back in Ebott City, my home. And it is also likely that there, in Ebott City, it will have the most amount of these things present. I will need to think of a plan in order to get inside of the laboratories that hold the CELL Cores, if there are hopefully any left, in order to make sure that it will be enough to power you up and make you more stronger. I just hope that it will be successful in pulling it all off, Miss."

Later...

Abyss is now outside, and he is sitting down onto a seat, in front of a table, right next to his friends.

Ganyu sat onto the table, as Abyss and Kunou sat down as well, with Abyss than speaking what he wants to say to them both. Ravel and Atla are also present with her as well, as Kunou than spoke.

"Sans...why does your CELL Core, look so similar to the ones that the creatures form outside have?"

Abyss looks down at Kunou, a look of unhappiness present, before he than spoke out to the young Kyuubi beside him.

"Because the CELL Cores that they have...they are actually the same as mine. It is just that...the CELL Cores that those creatures have, the ones that you had nearly been killed in and fought against, their CELL Cores are more dangerous, due to them being mutated."

Gamyu than saw some flowers, and she than began eat them, like there is no tomorrow for her at all. Abyss continues on with his explanation.

"I...I don't know how this happened. These CELL Cores are supposed to have been short lived, they are supposed to die, due to the fact that they are out of control, and the ones that are out of control are supposed to stop in seconds or minutes. But it seems that when they mutated, that is no longer the case for the them."

Also, both Paper Crane and Lucidia are elsewhere, wandering Kyoto. And Abyss does not seem to mind, as he lets them do what they want. As Abyss looks down, Kunou spoke out to Abyss.

"Do you have an idea in which building they might be?"

Abyss looked down at her and nodded.

"Yeah, I do. And the thing is, it is in a type of building that I fear entering. And the thing is...I would need to do to is with other people. I'll bring Ravel to help me, but...Atla, I can't bring you, due to the fact that your powers are now able to kill them instantly, and it could leave us vulnerable. So I need you to stay here in Kyoto until I get back, okay?"

Atla Fayon nodded, although she does not like it one bit. But than, Ganyu spoke out.

"I'll come to, Abyss."

Ganyu than spoke out to Abyss, as she has a determined expression on her face.

"Make no mistake, Abyss-no...Sans. Even though i am far away from my own home, your home is in trouble, and one of the last safest places that are still struggling to survive is in danger. I will do anything I can in my power to aid you, no matter what."

This made Abyss stunned, as he did not expect that, but than, Kunou gripped onto Abyss' shirt, as he spoke out.

"I want to go with you too, Sans! I want to find and help locate the so-called CELL Core you want to find!! I know that it may seem insane, because I just got out alive, but I want to help mother out! And don't you dare even say no to me, because I will not listen. I will come with you, no matter what!"

Abyss got even more stunned, as Atla gripped onto his hand, and Abyss looked, and she has a look that agrees with Kunou, and says that she wants to come to. After a little bit of thinking, Abyss smiled and chuckled.

"Heh, determined people, aren't you? Okay, you all can come, and that means you're able to come with me again, Atla."

Atla Fayon smiled, as she hugged Abyss righty.

Kunou smile happily that Abyss is allowing her to come along.

Ganyu turned her head to the side, as she than spoke out to Sans.

"Do not thank me yet. I just believe that you are in need of assistance."

Abyss nodded, as he closed his eyes, feeling a little bit happy, as Kunou than spoke out.

"So, when do we leave to find CELL?"

Abyss turns to see that his left scarf's back, before speaking.
