"Ghhhhh...."

Abyss Sans groaned...as he than stood up from the ground. It was cold and hard, the ground is, as he than looked around, and spoke out.

"Wh...where am I?"

Abyss is confused with what happened. Before he was knocked unconscious, he was inside of a fight of sorts. It was not a tough fight, but it was one heck of an annoying one. It is something that Abyss had gotten used to. But than...all of a sudden...as they were winning, he was suddenly consumed by a bright flash of light, and it knocked him unconscious for gods know how long he's unconscious. He has no idea how this happened out of nowhere. Nor does he know why it had to suddenly happen to him. But he cannot think of those questions now, because those will never be answered to him, especially with seemingly no one around. What he needs to answer, is where he is at right now. He tries to speak to Kyo and Alpha...but was shocked to realize that he can't hear them. He can feel them inside of his mind, sure. But he can no longer hear them. It's as though this place is preventing Sans from hearing their voices. Just what in the world is going on now. Looks like he is going to have to find out the answers to his own questions solo.

So as soon as he is beginning to stand up, he began to look around, in order to see where he is at. And too his surprise...it is at a location that he is very familiar with, even if it has been such a long time since he had been inside of a place as memorable as this one.

"The Judgement Hall?"

Abyss spoke out quietly and in utter confusion, as he looked around to see the area that he is in. He cannot believe that he is here of all places. Last time...it was for a very different purpose, as a battleground for when he had to fight against someone. What is he even doing here, or more importantly, what is the reason that he is brought here in the first place? As he looked around...he than heard something right meat to him.

"Rrrrghhh..."

Sans turned...only to see 2 people. They're both shrouded in the darkness...and when the light shined on them...one head resembles his brother, Papyrus. But the clothing is different. It is an red jacket of an light red hood and scarves, with long pants and boots. The Abyss Gem is of the same color as Abyss' when he did not collect the Elemental Orbs. But he is not alone. Another grunt was heard. And Abyss turned to the other side...and this time...it was of a human...with one red eye, which if the right eye, and the left eye being blue. The coat is similar to Abyss' but darker, and with yellow on the fluffy hood and scarves. But the Abyss Gem for this one...red.

Abyss was shocked. He recognized the Papyrus lookalike. He is from the AbyssSwap alternate universe. But the one with the yellow scarves and the hood...it is of a universe that Abyss doesn't know. But when Abyss got a clear look at their face. And it instnsoty reminds him of Chara. And than...it finally became clear to Abyss at what this one belongs to. It belongs to a variation of the Storyshift universe.

"What in the world happene?"

Swap Papyrus spoke out, as he began to look around. But than....he took notice of Chara, who also took notice of Papyrus. And Papyrus, believing that it is Chara, from his world, who had done a genocide run, shouted out.

"YOU!!!"

Papyrus shouted out, as he than tried to fire a Gaster Abyss Blaster at Shift Chara. But Chara, reacting on instinct, immediately gets out of the way, to avoid getting hit. The Gaster Abyss Blaster from AbyssSwap Papyrus resembles the Gaster Abyss Blaster that Abyss Sans has now, except that it is a blue color instead of an aqua green color. This could mean that this is a blue version of a possible evolution power that exists inside of AbyssSwap Papyrus. Chara than opened her hand, and formed a red crystal knife, and began to attack Papyrus with it, by swinging red slashes with Red Abyss Shards inside of them. Papyrus dodged out of the way of the slashes, as they hit the Judgement Hall pillars, and while they did break at first, they suddenly healed. Sans was shocked at that, but than he realizes that he needs to put an end to the fught, before it gets any worse.

Just as the both of them began to charge at each other through their own power of flight, Abyss Sans spreads his wings, and got in the between the both of them, and shouted out at them as he grabbed the both of them in the arms.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP!!!!"

This caught them both by surprise, as they than turned around to see Sans, of all people standing in between the both of them.

"Sans?"

The both of them said, but than, they noticed that he is wearing a very different outfit compared to the way that they know of Sans, and the fact that he has a different colored right eye. This must mean that something is wrong with him. Abyss Sans looks at the both of them, as he spoke out.

"What in the world do you both think that you are doing?"

The way he speaks is nothing like the Sanses of their worlds. Papyrus and Chara were both stumped.

"What the...you look like my brother. Just...who am I speaking to?"

Swap Papyrus spoke out, as Abyss Sans back to Papyrus.

"You're mistake me, Papyrus. I am Sans...just a different version of him, from a Universe, where I take your place as the one that you ares seeing now, and the Papyrus of my world is a royal guard."

Swap Papyrus was caught off guard by thus information, as Shift Chara actually began to understand why the Sans before her looks so similar to the one in her world, and surprisingly is handling it very well compared to Papyrus.

"That explains why you look like my king."

Sans looks confused at Shift Chara, and spoke out.

"Are you serious?"

Shift Chara nodded, as she spoke out.

"Really. In my world, you are a king of the mountain of Ebott. You ruled the underground  very well and fairly."

Abyss Sans smiled a bit in embarrassment, as he spoke out.

"Yeesh. I was said that I would be a ruler, but of the Abyss, not of the whole underground. How did I even rise to the ranks like that."

Chara smiled, as Swap Papyrus than noticed something in the Judgement Hall's hallway. Papyrus squinted his eyes, in order to see clearly of what it is that he is looking at, as this was not there before. But as he continued to look, he can see that...it is walking towards them. Moving...with something in their hands. Once it stepped into the light...and it is shown a bit more clearly than before, Papyrus' eyes than widened.

"I think we need to put this friendly conversation to a hold."

Papyrus spoke out, as Sans and Chara looked at Papyrus with a confused expression on both of their faces.

"Why do you ask that?"

Sans said, as Papyrus spoke out back to him.

"Because of that!"

Sans and Chara looked, only for tuner eyes widen at what they are seeing before their eyes. Standing at the beginning of the Hallway...was a shadowy figure. It's form resembles a child, but Sans, Papyrus, and Chara, they both can see that the form is constantly shifting and changing into 3 separate forms. But each are carrying one thing in their hand...a knife.

The child was smiling at them, as if anticipating the moment that they finally get to kill them.

The instant that they saw the kid, Sans, Papyrus, and Chara's eyes glowed brightly, as they than shouted out.

"THAT KID IS-"

But they did not have time to speak out the full sentence, as the child than began to charge at them. But before it can land a stirke on one or either of them, all 3 of them got out of the way, before they knife could attack them. Sans than fired a bunch of Gaster Abyss Blasters at the kid, but than, without warning, Papyrus extended his hand, and did the same, as his Gaster Abyss Blaster also fired at the kid.

But the kid dodged a bunch of them, and only got hit twice, not that it stopped them from trying to get close enough and made an attempt on Sans' life. But thankfully, on unexpectedly for the kid, Chara got in the way, and stopped the knife strike with her red crystal knife, and blocked the attack. The 2 humans looked at each other for several seconds, than Chara kicks the kid back with enough force to send them into a wall. Chara looks at the kid for several seconds more, as Sans spoke out in a strained tone of voice, as if trying to hold back his disbelief.

"This...is insane. How can we deal with this?"

Sans could not believe what he had just gotten himself into. He does not recognize the shadowy figure, but at the same time...does. Some part of the figure is of the Chara of his universe, when she turned back and manipulated Frisk into committing genocide, and Abyss had to step in in order to make sure that everything is fixed in the end. But the thing is, Swap Papyrus experienced the same thing. In his Universe, the version of his Frisk manipulated his Chara into committing genocide, and he had to be the one to step in and try to make sure that everything is set right.

"I agree. This is something that none of us had been able to deal with before! How can we stand up against that?"

Papyrus sounds stressed, as they have never dealt with this thing before in their lives. Why is it that they need to step in and fight against a single entity that is capable of killing nearly the whole underground? Is there a reason why they're here? Is it to keep this entity at bay? Is it for some other purpose? If so, than they must be all 3 of them? Why must there be not an alternative solution, and instead, it has to resort to this case? Why that case all of a sudden? As that happened, Chara than spoke out.

"Does it matter if we can stand up against this thing or not?"

Sans and Papyrus' eyes snapped their attention to Chara, who is now looking at them. They has  very stern expression on her face, as they than spoke out to Sans and Papyrus in an arrested tone of voice.

"Does it matter If we can stand up against that thing or not, matters if we should do it together or not? For the first part, no, it does not matter if we can stand up against this thing. It does matter that we must fight it together. For this thing is the only thing that is preventing us from leaving this place, and not returning back home. If we do not defeat it, and if we allow it to remind alive and try to kill us, than we will never likely go back, nor will it allow us to find a way out of our own. So come on! At least help out for once and try and help defeat the one that is keeping us from leaving this place."

This caught both Sans and Papyrus by surprise. But than...Sans looked down at this fist, and clenched it, as he realizes that he must do something. Chara is right. Is he does not help out with them in trying to defeat the kid, than they will never be able  to leave this place and return home. And if Papyrus does not help with Chara and Sans, than the same thing will apply to them. This kid, they are the one thing that is tandning in the way of trying to get out of here. They need to kill the kid, if they are to ever get out of this place. Sans looked down at the ground, and than...he spoke out.

"Heh. You sure have a way with words, doncha, pal?"

Chara smiled at Sans, as she than spoke out to him.

"I always know how to make my speeches, partner."

Papyrus smiled, as he than spoke out.

"So what are we waiting for? Should do something about the kid?"

Sans looks at the direction of the kid along with Papyrus and Chara, as they burst out of the wall that they are trapped in. The kid than looks up at the trio  and they looked furious. Sans smiled, as he stepped in between Papyrus and Chara, as he than spoke out.

"Well than...I say we do to the kid by doing what we usually do best."

Sans closed his eyes for a little bit, as Chara and Papyrus, as they both did the same thing. The kid looked confused for several seconds, until all 3 of the judges snapped open their eyes, and they began to glow, with a sinister smirk present on all 3 of their faces, with an anticipation expression present.

"TIME TO GET DUNKED ON!!!"

Sans, Papyrus, Chara, all 3 of them shouted, as they than prepare to fight against the kid that is standing in the way of their freedom, in the way of the gateway that can bring them back to their home universes. The kid smiled a sinister smile, as they gripped their knife, and began to charge at them. But now, this time, they are willing to kill the kid far more than they ever did, as it is because of them, they had to suffer in a genoicde run of their own, and now, they are going to make sure, that this fused kid, which contains the essences of all 3 of them, they are going to make absolutely sure that they are going to pay what they have done. And the kid...they are going to suffer the worst and most painful deaths that they can think of.

As soon as the kid starts it come in close, Sans and Papyrus attacked again, with the Gaster Abyss Blasters again. But this time, they are now far more willing to attack, as they did whatever they could to try and kill them. The kid dodged them, as usual, but this time, Sans sends an additional attack out of complete nowhere. It was an Abyss Chain, and it nearly tried to strike the kid. The kid panicked briefly, but were able to avoid getting hit by the Abyss Chain. Unfortunately, though, as Papyrus takes the place of Sans in his universe, he also has access to the Abyss Chain. But his is a light red instead of a blue crystal, as it nearly struck at the kid. And thus time, they ended up getting nicked right in the chest. The cut may be small, but it does not change the fact that it is extremely painful, due to the purifying properties of the Abyss Chain. The kid snarled, and tried to charge at Papyrus, but he easily dodged the attack, before kicking them back. Abyss smiled, as he than charged at the kid himself, before firing a bunch of Abyss Shards, along with red Abyss Knives from Chara, who is fighting alongside Sans.

They fired it down at the kid, like it is raining death, and the kid barely had enough time to dodge the attack. Unfortunately, this also gave the time that Chara need to charge into them, and try to attack them head on. The kid barely had enough time to defend with their own knife, but they are now being pushed back by Chara, who's scarves have now turned into wings for flight, as a more effective way to try and push the kid back, and needless to say, it worked for about a couple of seconds, before the kid regained their footing, and forced them to remain still on the ground, so that they do not get pushed back by AbyssShift Chara. The kid and Chara stared at each other directly, as Chara's sclera started turning black, with black liquid coming out of their eyes, with a muderous grin of dead intent forming on their lips. This made the kid shocked and horrified at what they are seeing, as Chara than kicked them back again, but the kid quickly got out, and tried to than hastily swing their knife at Chara, a red enery slash came out if the knife, as it reached to try and attack Chars with it. But Chara does the same thug, as their red energy slash, just like last time, had red Abyss Shards in it, and these red shards are extremely sharp. So much that, together with the red slash, they were both able overpower the red slash that the kid made, and it struck the kid square in the chest. This made them began to bleed, due to how immensely painful it is to them, and Chara smiled. But than, they frowned, along with Sans and Papyrus, who realize what thus meant. The kid took out some food, and ate it, and this healed them back to full health. Sans and Papyrus looked shocked, before Sans smacks his face with his right hand, as he than spoke out.

"Oh yeah. I totally forgot about that. The kid can heal with food from the underground."

He than pinched his nose, as Papyrus than spoke out to Sans.

"We'll, there is no time to complain about thar now, Mr. Sans."

But Sans than spoke back.

"It's just Sans."

But Chara than spoke back to the 2 Gasters from different Alternate Universes.

"Can you both please not talk about this right now? We still need to defeat the kid!"

Sans and Papyrus nodded their heads together, as Papyrus spoke out.

"Yeah, right. Can't let ourselves get distracted like this."

All 3 of them looked at the kid, who is already running full speed ahead towards the trio. But Chara than attacked by launching a bunch of knives from the air, as all of them fired down at the kid. The kid tried to jump back, but Sans used his blue magic to force them forward, and the kid is forced to try and avoid the attack as much as possible. They did whatever they could to avoid getting hit, but unfortunately, they still did got hit by the Abyss Knives. Thus made them grunt in pain, as they went down on their knees, to try and deal with the pain. But as they began to stand back up again, they looked around themselves, and see that they are being surrounded by Abyss Shards and Abyss Knives, as if all of them are ready to fire and kill the kid. Luckily for the kid, only one set of the attack fired first. The kid  was able to dodge all of them, but unfortunately for the kid, that was only the beginning. Than, they are suddenly forced up by Sans, who than slammed them into the wall and the ceiling, both to hurt them with the impact, and to try and hurt them with the Abyss Spikes that are coming out of the wall and ceiling, as the kid is forced to try and jump.

As that happened they than turned orange, and began to go faster, but they cannot stop, as Abyss Spikes than began to surround the kid and spin in a circle, as it began to close in on the kid, before stopping at a certain point, as the kid tried to do wharves they can to try and control their speed in a way that it does not make them accidentally run into the spikes. But unfortunately, they were not that careful, and they still ended up getting stabbed in some places, such as the torso and the legs. This made than collapse to the ground for a little, as they than stood back up again, though they are struggling to do so, as the pain that they are feeling is straight up unbearable. But unfortunately for the kid, the fight is still not over yet. In fact, it is only over, when one side is killed off. And unfortunately for the kid, their side is still not killed as of yet.

As the kid than looked up, Abyss Sans and AbyssSwap Papyrus flied right towards the kid, as they than tried to attack them head on. The kid was able to avoid the attack, but than, they got hit by miniature blasts to the back, which burned them badly from behind. The kid looked, and saw that it was mini Blasters. There were 8 of them in total, as they circled around the kid in order to try and kill it. The kid, with whatever strength that they have left inside of them, did whatever they could to outmaneuver the blasts of energy from the mini Blasters. Unfortunately, this was the end of their luck, Because as soon as they turned around, they are suddenly met with an Abyss Shard to the face, which instantly killed them.

"You did it, Sans!"

Chara shouted out, as Papyrus nodded with a smile.

"Great job, Sans. You manage to beat the kid."

Sans smiled, as he than spoke out with triumph in his voice.

"Nice, now all 3 of us now can have a chance to-"

Before he could finish what he is saying...the Judgement Hall began to twist and glitch, and shined for a brief moment, before it all stopped.

"Ahh, great, what now?!"

Sans shouted, completely frustrated with what had just happened. They had just defeated the kid that had been keeping them trapped, and now, all of a sudden  they are now still not free. What is going on?! As Sans shouted out in a rage, Chara than shouted out

"Wait a minute! Do you feel that?!"

Papyrus looks at Chara, before he than realized it as well. Just like Sans, they can feel the souls of others that are in theur proximity.

"The kid, they are back again, and they are on their way."

Sans was shocked, as he than shouted out to them.

"Are you kidding me?! We had just defeated them!! We killed them!! It would set us free, the end! Why is it that the kid is still here to try and torment us by keeping us in this place?!"

Chara than spoke out to Sans.

"I think it is very obvious for all of us, isn't it?"

Sans and Papyrs looked at Chara, as they than continued.

"Because...as long as that kid is alive...

...we can never really be free from this hell."
