Chapter Twenty

The Evil Queen's POV:

AND I WILL WIN. It was something that came naturally to me. I was the most intelligent of the six of us. Unfortunately, two of our brothers have died, Francis and Gilbert. It was painful, but if I need to make the way things were originally I would have to pay those consequences. I don't know if I should continue with the curse, but I lost everything already. Even my only happiness. I should cast that curse, but I need Salaria. I need her in order to cast it. My other three brothers were unable to be tracked. So she was the only other one closest to me and Francis and Gilbert had no idea. They tried to stop me the last time, but they wouldn't listen to me. So along with the rest of my siblings they were caught in the middle of the smoky curse. I had to kill my parents to get what I needed, and I don't need to kill my siblings to get this curse. I just need a piece of them, like their hair. It wouldn't be too hard to get a piece of just Salaria's hair, or something she loved. Which seemed to be her bow, she loved her bow and I let that get away.

Salaria also ruined my first true love, my one and only Fred. I loved him and he was a shepard, and that love was ruined by her. She told mother dearest, and now she was going to pay just like everyone else who screwed me over with a deal.

"Loving the samples love." I opened my eyes as I was sitting on my beloved throne, dark and menacing just like me and I liked it that way. I would always be remembered ad the Evil Queen, and I was going to get what I wanted.

"What do you want?" I said as I waved him away with my hand. It was useless to even try with him Mattaeos would never go away unless he wants to. What does he need me for this time, what kind of plot or deal does he want to make with me right now? "Is it a deal that you want?" I asked him.

"That's not how you talk to your master." He said and appeared right next to me and sat elegantly across the arm of my throne. I leaned back and did my best to punch him. He just vanished and reappeared in front of me as I turned to face him and jumped.

"What do you want?" I snapped at him, "can't you see that I'm busy?"

"Busy sulking?" He replied and smiled. I conjured up a ball of fire and aimed at him. He deflected it easily.

"Piss off," I said to him with a tensed tone.

"Now now deary, I can't do that. I can help you, and you can help me." He said in response and paced in front of me. "But first I need you to make sure that you can live up to your promise." He said to me. "I taught you this dark magic, and I need you to cast that curse, or you'll die if you don't. Also, don't forget that I can tell Salaria everything!"What he meant was supposed to be a threat, but his threats do not scare me. I wouldn't  mind a simple duel.

"You better not!" I said to him and stomped my foot and shook the room. The chandelier above me swayed and the crystals clinked as it swayed.

"Oh, look at the little lady child getting a temper." He taunted and I clenched my fist.

"Can't  you see that I did what I needed to do. I have their hearts. They're  forced to listen to me now!" I told him. "I want them to do as I say without using the force first." I told him, "if they don't  bring me Salaria so I could use her for the curse. Then, I'll  use force if they do not obey. Maybe even kill Salaria if she does not do as I say!"

"Oh, now she's a fighter!" He continued.

"Are you sure your not here to just annoy me or to help me? Because if you're  here to annoy me, the door is behind you!" I said as a comeback and really felt annoyed with him. He was a nuisance, and I can barely stand him.

"Just use the hearts now, and we'll  get to that new land I promised you as soon as possible. A land without magic, the Evil Curse. You can wipe their memories, and no one will know you have done it." He advised, and I just contemplated and listened as he just spoke on and on about making a curse. He still hadn't  shared why he needed to go to this new land that I haven't  heard of. I've  traveled to many different lands, but haven't  heard of one without magic. It was interesting, but I never knew what Mattaeos' purpose was when he needed to go to this land.

"Fine!" I waved my hand and took us to my vault of hearts. "We are here." I told him and sensed my way towards Eric's heart. His was not the purest, he left his family and left the code of marriage. Killed his friends for gold. He was the exact definition of greed, and he was a perfect pawn in my game. "Try to get her to come, and tell her that I'll  be waiting for you."

"Good, good. Now Chronic." Mattaeos suggested, I knew what he needed Chronic for.

"Teleport all of you to meet me at the center and I'll  meet you there with your rewards."

"That's  my call, I'll  meet you at the top  of your castle." Mattaeos said with a sly smile. I snarled at him and placed the hearts back in their proper elegant boxes and vanished with them to meet my beloved sister.
