Chapter Six

The Evil Queen's POV

THE EVIL QUEEN IS BACK. SHE IS VERY ANGRY.

I was doing my own make-up, in my dark and gloomy bedroom. I was sitting by my desk, in front  of my mirror. I instructed my mirror to find where my staff was. Of course, that blasted wizard Chronic, he ruined my plans. Now he has my staff.  I knew I was  foolish enough to trust that pirate.  That no good waste of space only did it for the money, and he was charred alive. Though, that girl fought decent. I wondered who she was and what she was doing on the ship.  Though, I assumed that she was a slave. I could just end herz with a snap of my fingers. Just like that. I slammed my hands  on the top of the desk. The mirror gently shook, but my fists were shaking in anger. I can't let Chronic get into the way of everything.

"Guards!" I yelled in a malicious tone, it echoed through my massive bedroom, shaking the stone walls. It blew out some of the torches that hung on the wall that illuminated my room. The bedroom door bursted open, and in came two twats that couldn't  keep their grubby hands to themselves, and continuously acted like fools. The way they behave was why I never promoted them to be Sergeants in my army. They would make me look like a fool on the frontline. I would kill them myself, and make it look like an accident.

"Y-yes, your  majesty." The taller one spoke, he had muscles yes; and he was slightly more intellectual  than the other one. Who was shorter, and more dopey all of the time. It annoyed me that I ended up with these two, but they were bound to be my loyal servants since they were picked. I didn't  even care about their names, I call everyone guard or slave, boy or girl. I don't  care about names.

"Fetch me my carriage, and feed the horses. We're  going on a little trip."

SALARIA'S POV

"Now that we have the staff of the Evil Queen. We have her power. She can't  do much to us with her staff at risk." Chronic assured us. It still made me nervous, being around that staff. I won't  touch it, only when it's  in the box.

"We should put that thing back where it belongs. The staff shouldn't  just be out here like this in the open. It needs to go back in the display case. Now. Inside the box." I suggested with fear.

"Girl, there is nothing to be afraid of. As long as I have it. I won't  hurt you or anyone else on this boat with it." Chronic offered and he was holding the malicious staff. My skin still tingled at the sight and name of the staff. It's evil radiated over my good senses. I felt as if I couldn't  breath, and Eric was probably  feeling the same thing that I was.

"I-um need to step outside a bit." I said and began to walk down the hall. Before I opened the door, Eric spoke.

"I'll  come along too." Eric said, and I figured he would. It was getting quite hard to breath.

"I'll  do my best to figure out how this staff works. She has some enchantments guarding it. So it might take some time." I was curious to explore the reasonings as to why he was so interested with the Evil Queen's  Staff. Though, I didn't  want the thoughts jumble around  in my head. Plus, the possibilities of what could happen. I forgot about the prophecy that the old man had said about me this morning before I had awaken. I growled to myself with frustration.

"What's  wrong?" Asked Eric,  I glanced towards him.

"Some dream." I shrugged.
"Nightmare?" Eric inquired, and I furrowed my brows at him and opened the door to the outside and gestured Eric to go on out first.

"You can say that." I replied and shoved my hands into mu tattered pockets.
"I know what's  it like. Losing people that you care about." Of course he does, everyone knows that. I gave Eric a sad and content look. Almost as if I looked tired, I was though. That battle with Captain James, and conjuring enough will. It was definitely tiring. Once we were by the rail of the boat. I felt it rock smoothly as James' boat settled on the open sea. I turned and told him what  I knew about this morning.

EVIL QUEEN'S  POV

Sitting in a carriage as it bumped and shook over the gravel and rocks of the battered cobblestone street, was quite annoying. I held onto the armrest of the carriage as I sat impatiently waiting to reach to where I wanted to go. I will not tell you where I'm  going. Not yet, it's my plan to keep you waiting of course. Itching to keep you from leaving your seat. I stared at my dark blade that rested in front of me. I smiled evilly. I turned to face the window and smiled some more as I noticed a castle. It wasn't  some ordinary castle. It was a castle made of gold. This man that I knew, he knew how to get everything. Especially my staff. What I wanted to know was how to get it back. I'll  do whatever it takes. Even if it meant to kill Chronic. At least, that would be one less lonely and pitiful Wizard to take care of.
