Chapter Ten: Salaria and Zamaria

"I understand Zamaria. You thought what you were doing was best, but now we shouldn't worry about the Giants. Even if they'll be crossing our borders. They know better than to cross them." Salaria stated. It seemed that Salaria knew more than what Zamaria had thought she had known about the borders and the agreement between the Giants and Emsas.

After all, Salaria was the one who made the peace treaty amongst the Hill Giants.

"Also, if the Frost Giants are planning to attack the Hill Giants my, I mean our Army knows what to do. We are highly trained. We can easily take down the Frost Giants." If they do that would mean more land for the Hill Giants so that they could have their own true place to call home. If they really wanted to.

The stallions we're quiet. Their hooves were beating against the ground lightly, but they made an even beat as they trotted alongside one another. Chronic and the Boomba were  still talking about magic and inventions.

The two agreed about moving closer to the men. They just sought the comfort of them and didn't really appreciate about being in the back, because men are so masculine and strong.

"-Magic, it's unique in this world." The Boomba said. "You have no clue how it could interact, but if it's in your blood then you know that you would need to learn how to wield it. Sooner rather than later too." The Boomba added with a smile as he looked back at the expected ladies who had come to join them.

"Glad to see you two caught up." Chronic said as he turned to see what the elf was looking at. It was a strange party, two royals, and a wizard who isolates himself from the world, and a wizard who is idolized by the world. This doesn't feel like any normal adventuring party that Salaria had read in any sorts of adventuring books from her parents library. It really saddened her, but she was just glad to be with her sister and the Magnificent Boomba.

"Wouldn't want to miss anything important." Salaria spoke in a nice excited way that made the Elf smile.

"Good. Good, you see here is someone who likes to learn." Chronic said through a smirk towards Zamaria. The queen just glared at Chronic and barred her teeth at him. Chronic shrugged and his grin grew wider. "Just stating the truth." Explained Chronic.

"Anyways, magic is quite powerful here in Normandy. The most powerful thing in the world, and yet it is so rare to know that people possess it. A lot of the world think of magic as a curse." The Elf smiled, he didn't have any other further explanation than what he said about magic, however he took out his canteen and took a sip from it.  "Also, there a system to learning magic. Once we get to my house. Which is just North of here, and maybe a few days travel, we can get my books, and I can teach you." The Boomba said with a chuckle. "Oh how much fun it'll be."

Out in the distance. A strangely familiar sound of a battle horn could be heard. Everyone stopped, even their breathing was slowed to a near halt.

Something told Zamaria that this wasn't a coincidence. The horn was either an alarm to the four of them or for the best of luck another army, but even then if it was another army. The four wizards and witches will have to find a way to avoid the chaos. The noise of thundering hooves could be heard as a large echoe just booming as horses charged across the valleys of Normandy. This wasn't good. Not good at all.

So sorry for the wait guys! I hope you'll like this next chapter. Any constructive criticism is welcomed and if you'd like it, please don't forget to leave a vote. I'm in the middle of working between school and  other stuff outside of school (life) so there's my reason for short posts and slow posting. However, I am also trying to get this storyline to work. If it ends up well in the middle of the process than that means I'm doing something right. XD

Anyways, happy writing/reading!
