We had been running for a while now and we were all tired and panting. "Check your mirror." Mal said to Evie.

"Is my mascara smudged?" Evie asked.

"Yeah, and hey while you're at it, why don't you see if you can find us the wand." Mal said.

"Sure, this way!" Evie said, running off in a different direction.

We all ran up to a door and gasped looking through the glass. Suddenly the guard who was sitting in there, moved and his chair squeaked. Evie and Mal hid behind one wall and Carlos pulled me behind the other one with him and Jay. We slowly peeked back in the glass and stared at Maleficent's spinning wheel.

I said, "How are we supposed to get past him?"

"That's your mother's spinning wheel?" Jay asked.

"Is that reali a spinning wheel?" John asked.

Carlos snickered, "It's kind of dorky."

"It's magic," Mal replied, "It doesn't have to LOOK scary. Magic spindle, do not linger, make my victim pic her finger."

The chair spun to the wheel but did nothing else.

Jay sarcastically said, "Impressive."

Carlos sarcastically followed and said, "I got chills." And John noded.

Mal said, "Okay, I got it. Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep."

The guard rose from the chair and I held back a gasp as the guard walked to the spinning wheel, observed it and then reached out, pricking his finger in the process. The guard stretched, yawned and laid down next to the spinning wheel, falling asleep.

Mal told Jay and Carlos, "Not so dorky now, huh?"

I rolled my eyes. "Come on!"

John reached for the knob but it was locked.

"Stand." Jay said. "Back."

I quickly said, "Make it easy, make it quick. Make it open without a kick."

I unlocked the door and pushed it open just as Jay came running through yelling a battle cry and landed on the floor.

Mal, Evie and I started laughing. "Coming?" Mal asked and Evie patted his head. Carlos tried to help him up and I was still laughing but dosen't help much so John help Jay up.

"Come on, Jay we don't have all night." I said, walking with the girls.

"I'm good." He shoved John off him. John put his hands up defensively.

"Just trying to help." He said.

We all walked around the guard and Mal put a finger up to her lips, signaling us to be quiet. The guard yawned and shifted and Carlos froze and let out a gasp.

"Carlos!" I hissed.

"Coming!" He ran around the guard and we all ran to the wand.

"So close." Mal said.

"Upstairs." Evie said.

I looked around and saw many, many things. And for a minute, I saw a red pillow were wass supose to be the mirror of Belle and in the side was another red pillow were was supose to be the red rose.

"Missing since the incident." I read at a place that was at the side of the two pillow.

Mal pushed us in front of her. "Come on. Go, go, go, go." She said. "Up, up, up, up, up." We ran up the stairs.

"Come on guys. Almost there." Evie said.

We all froze in our tracks when we got to the top. It was our parents. We slowly walked towards them and realized they were only wax figures of our parents.

"Mommy?" Evie said.

I saw my father glaring down with his crossbow in hand and the mirror in other, I grabbed Carlos's hand without knowing it.

"Killer." Jay said.

"Pirate." John said.

"I'll never forget Mother's day again." Carlos said, terrified.

"Uh huh." I said, staring at the figure of my father.

"Well, the wand's not here. Let's bounce." Jay said. When none of us moved he said, "Let's go." And Evie, Carlos and John follow.

Evie yelled, "Come on, guys! Almost there!"

I mumbled, "No one is scary as Gaston."

Carlos tried to drag me away from the Gaston statue. He said, "Let's go." Runing again.
