"Have you heard?"
"About what?"
"The news, silly!"
"Heard about the murder lately?"
"Another one in the school!?"
"The second victim. ."
"Are you kidding?"
"Who killed her?"

Students muttered in the classroom. Apparently, our school was featured in the newspaper. Unfortunately, it wasn't good news.

"Ryoutei Academy, a well-known and popular night school in Japan has been praised by its intelligent and kind students--"

Pfft, kind my ass!

"--. But it is truly strange for a corpse to be found on the campus. It was a horrible scene, the female student seemed to be stabbed multiple times with some body parts missing. Some state that she was murdered by a stranger not from the school, but most say she was

Murdered by a student."

Doesn't this sound. . . Hm. . . Familiar to you? The thought of Rai still gets me the shivers at the sight, after all. . . I was the first one to see her. The student's name is Rin Wakasa, another section's class president.

Other than my thoughts, we were having free time since the teacher was gone. Bad thing? Well. . . A certain third year was in the classroom for some reason with a basketball. Guess it?
I don't know what he was doing in our classroom but he was supposed to keep the damn basketball away.

"Hey chisana! Think fast!"

With a swift movement, I quickly hit the basketball directly with my fist.

"Oh, what the-!?"

Swoosh! The basketball flew across the room and went to the direction of the window.

Crash!

There went glass flying out along with the poor basketball.

"How the hell did you--" The devil trailed off, staring at me in shock.
"It's called skills, dude." I stated proudly, grinning mischievously. Ayato only sighed, sitting beside me. My gaze was fixated as I read the article on my phone.

I slowly turned to my side to see the devil staring at me. I slowly wished I didn't since his pretty eyes were staring right into my icy ones as he looked. . . Innocent. . . !? No way, certainly a devil couldn't be innocent! A devil couldn't have a face of an angel-- IDIOT, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT!?

"Dude. . ?" I quickly snapped my fingers in front of Ayato.
"Huh? What?" Ayato blinked once or twice before staring at me in question.
"Quit staring at me." With a sigh, I resumed texting.

< Yeup.

> Oh good! I have someone to talk to!

< Wait. . . Aren't you in school?

> Teacher's out but yeah. You?

< Texting in class.

> Ohoho! Rebel here!

< Correction: BAD BITCH!!1!

> That's my sis!

< Damn right!

"Who're you texting?" A voice interrupted as I quickly gasped and covered my phone to my chest.
"Devil! Don't go poking into other's business!" I scolded, hissing.
"Whatever! So, who're you texting!?" Ayato only grinned, interested.
"Remind me why you and your brothers are in the classroom? Geez, you aren't in our class!" I yelled, flicking the devil's forehead.
"Ow!" Ayato held his forehead in pain.
"Isn't it rude for you to ask us that?" Reiji frowned.
"We can do anything even with that old principal knowing." Laito chuckled.
"You too, Shuu?" I asked, groaning.
"What. . . ? It was the. . . Closest classroom. . . ." Shuu replied slowly and sleepily.
"Ayato dragged me here, isn't that right, teddy?" Kanato mutters to himself and addresses to teddy.
"Tch. . . But I'm curious about that person you're texting." Subaru stated, crossing his arms.
"Chisana, you haven't answered my question!" Ayato slammed his hands to the desk, rather roughly and loudly. "Geez, dude! Calm down!" I exclaimed, sweatdropping.

"That person who I was texting? That's my sister." I said, my chin placed above my palm.
"Sister? How many siblings do you have!?" Ayato exclaimed, surprised.
"Not as many as you, idiot!" I yelled back.
"What are the names?" Kanato asked.
"My siblings? Oh, wow. Didn't know you were that interested in me." I stated, sarcastically.
"Just answer the question, chisana!" Ayato exclaimed.
"Calm down, dude! Uck. . . Well, there's Shiro, the eldest and my older sister, Haruna." I explained, sighing.
"Well--"

The bell rang. I smirked to myself before standing and running out to the door.
"Oi! You aren't eating with us!?" Ayato called out.
"When did I ever eat with you at school!?" I replied yelling and hurrying to the roof.

As usual, it was empty. Though the memory of Rai appeared on my mind as shivers traveled down my spine like a roller coaster heading south, rapidly. I shook my head, thinking it was just another bad memory and that it's finished. Putting my lunch down, I walked towards the railings, leaning against it. That was until I noticed something etched on the railings. It was as if someone scratched it or it was carved by a sharp object. It was messy, but I managed to read it.

"Swore you'd never tell, you swore you'd never tell." I read aloud.

Got a secret, can you keep it?

Swear this one you'll save.

"You promised." I continued, my eyes slowly widening at my realization.

Better lock it in your pocket.

Taking this one to the grave.

"Now," I stated, softly.

If I show you, then I know you won't tell what I said. . .

"You're gonna pay." I finished, backing away from the railings, terrified. My eyesight blurred.

My sight cleared as my surroundings were back in sight.

Part of the second murder. . !

"It is also said that the victim had something written on her cheek, it is said that it was written by the murderer. It said. . .

Then something grabbed my wrist, making me gasp.

Scream, Miyuki, scream!

I was about to scream until a hand covered my mouth.

Maybe I should have listened to Ayato, I should've ate with them! Goddammit. . .

Lesson learned, never poke into anyone else's business.

And I knew I was screwed, big time.
