Haley's point of view:

We sat at the table with Aunt Harley and Aunt Chiyo looking at us. Aunt Harley sighs.

"Okay it's going to be December in a week and we know what that means" Aunt Harley said.

"Please don't say the annual family get together party" Cole groans as he facepalms.

Every year in December our family have an a annual chirstmas family get together. And that includes alot of people not just from my dad and Aunt Harley's side but my mom's side, Aunt Chiyo ' s husband side and a few extra people Aunt Janet thinks is a good idea to bring.

Now my family is mixed up of people who are Japanese, America and or 5% Itlian. It's kinda of a mix bag. Don't get me wrong there nice people. It just gets kinda of weird since half of them are japanes and don't tencniloy speak alot of English so it's hard to communicate with them while the rest of my family are people who like to have to much fun.

"Cole every year we have this family get together, you know this" Aunt Harley said.

"I know but I don't want to see Uncle Delta, the last thing I want to hear is being drafted into the army and how punks like me desver to be drafted" Cole depands.

"Well uncle Delta doesn't get to make that choice, not while I'm around" Aunt Harley said firmly.

Cole sighs in relief.

"Aunt Harley I don't think we should do the party this year" I said.

Aunt Harley puts a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"Haley, I know your going through an hard time but times like theses you need people you love around you" Aunt Harley said.

"It's not gonna be the same without dad" I whisper.

"I have good news, your mother is coming back from Japan to vist for the party" Aunt Harley said.

My face lit up.

"Really, she finnaly can come home for the holidays, they let her off for the holidays ?!" I asks with exitment.

"Yes but it will only be for 2 days, that's all there allowing, I'm afraid" Aunt Harley said with a sigh.

My mom and I have an long distance relationship becauses of her job in Japan. For living my mom is a tour guide to show people of travels around the city of Hiroshima. My wasn't japanes however Aunt Chiyo taught my mom all about Japanese culture and language. Sometimes long distance relationship can take a toll on people however mom and I always made it work. We always talk on the phone for hours on end every Mondays, Fridays and the weekends. I just really wish I get to see her face more often but becauses her job is so demanding I don't get to see her. I haven't seen my mom in 7 years. I only know her happy cheerful voice but not her face as much. I just know she had blond hair like me.

"What about couisns Lewis... he's coming home from the Navy right ?" Cole asks, nervously.

"Yes he called a few days ago, he's coming home, don't worry" Aunt Harley said with a smile.

"So your telling us this early so we can help clean and cook ?" Cole asks.

"No I'm all the cooking and cleaning I just need you and Cole to babysit your cousins and Megan while I preparing for the party and during the party" Aunt Harley explains.

Cole and I exchange looks.

"Aunt Harley you can't do it all" Cole said.

"Let's us help, you gonna overwork yourself" I said.

"I got news for you, I been overworking myself for years now" Aunt Harley said directly.

"Is Aunt Chiyo gonna help at least ?" Cole asks.

"Yes she'll help with getting supplies and the cleaning" Aunt Harley said.

"But your doing all the cooking ?" I asks.

"Yes I doing all the cooking ! No one else knows my mother's recipes expect me, I have family members litteral honding me for my mother's old fashion cheese cake recipe ! Do you have any idea how many people try to steal my recipe !" Aunt Harley rants.

Me and Cole look at each other. We knew what Aunt Harley was feeling since everyone is trying to get my dad's journal.

Aunt Harley hugs us.

"Get ready for school, Aunt Chiyo will take you there" Aunt Harley said as we follow Aunt Chiyo to the car.

I open my locker and place my books in. Before marking my calendar and the date for the annual Christmas party.

"Okay April your gonna have a normal life, no mutant turtles" a voice said next to me.

Mutant turtles ?

I turn my head to see a girl with red hair, taking out a book from her locker. I didn't know the girl but she looked fimilar. She looked like a girl Phoebe knows.

"Are you okay ?" I ask.

She looks at me a little startled.

"Uh yeah I'm okay, it's just school that's getting to me" The girl replies with a nervous smile.

"Yeah I hear that" I giggle.

"Hey your one of the many Evan cousins, I know your cousin Phoebe" The girl said.

"Wait your April O'Neil, Phoebe ask you once to promote our band in the school's paper, I really like the promotion you did alot of people come to our gigs" I said.

"It was my pleasure... whoa !" April shouts as she is hit with an hockey puck.

I quickly stand on the side of the locker so I won't get hit.

"April are you okay ?" I asks.

"I think so" April mutters as she lays on the floor.

"Whoa red your in my way for my shot" chuckles a voice.

I look up to see one of our school's hockey players Casey Jones. He's also one of the guys who sometimes punish Cole.

"Sorry I'm trying to get my stuff form my locker" April said sarcasticly as I help her up.

Casey looks at me.

"Hey your one of thoeses many Evans kids, man I hear alot about you and 3 of your cousins, your the one that plays the guitar in the hallway" Casey points out.

"Well that sounds like me" I said.

"I tell you red there is 3 more of theses Evan kids" Casey laughs.

"Is that a bad thing ?" April asks.

"No it's cool but this mean teacher calls them kinder spirits that can't be caged" Casey said.

"Oh man your talking about Ms. Bells, she's not that bad, also she adds alot more to that saying" I said.

"Like what ?" April asks.

"She says we are kinder spirits that are way over our heads and we are related to a wild child that regular hits the bottle and party's often" I said with a smile.

"Man that's hilarious" Casey laughs.

"Hey Rockstar girl" someone shouts.

I turn my head to see Ivy.

"Hey Ivy !" I said waving at her.

"Can I talk to you for a minute ?" Ivy asks.

"Uh yeah, I'll see you guys later" I said as I walk towards Ivy.

"What's up ?" I asks.

"Well I'm having an Christmas party next week on the roof of the Premiere Theater and I want your band to perform for my party" Ivy said.

"Your kidding" I said with shock and exitment.

"I don't kid girl, your band is the best I know, I don't know anyone else who can really shred a guitar like you guys" Ivy said with a smile.

This is huge. This is our second gig in a very long time. The difference between this gig and the first is this one will be huge. And we're not performing for a kid's birthday party. We don't mention that at all.

But not only that. We are going to perform at one of the biggest parties of the year and I'm not even a senior yet so this is a big deal.

"Will do it !" I said with exitment.

Ivy hugs me.

"Oh thank you Hales, This means alot to me, I know I can always count on you" Ivy said.

"Of course Ivy were friends" I said with a smile.

"Whoa your the first person to ever say that to me" Ivy said, sounding a little susprised.

"What do you mean, you have lots ?" I asks.

"Well thoses are just girls who i hang around and they litteral follow me every where and not to mention they have bad habits gossips and they never shut up, it's hard to have fun with them, I don't really see them as friends" Ivy depands with a frown.

"Well you can hang out us anytime" I said.

"Maybe we can catch movie sometime" Ivy quickly suggests.

"Yeah that would be cool, Ivy" I said with a smile.

"Yeah cool" Ivy said sheepishly.

"Yo Ivy were gonna be late for class !" Someone shouts.

"Okay I'll be there in a sec !" Ivy shouts.

"No now girl !" Another girl shouts.

"Oh for crying out loud Lea !" Ivy shouts before turning to me. "I gotta go, I'll see you at my party next week" Ivy said with a smile before leaving for class.

This is the best day ever that I got my first gig nothing can ruin this day.

Later at night time,

Well my day got turn upside down. Well it's not in a bad way it just got weird. What I mean by that is Donnie had created a monster and now that monster is trying to get April and Casey Jones. So we basically have to save them.

This should be fun.

The next day,

The door bell rings and I open up the door. My eye's widen in susprises to see Shina Jade standing right in front of me with a smile on her face, her long black hair flowing in the wind.

Not a second later she hugs me.

"Hales ! I'm so happy to see you !" Shina Jade said as she hugs me.

I hug her back as I smile.

"Your earlier Jades !" I said.

"Yep I couldn't miss our annual family Christmas party !" Shina Jade said.

"Did you let Aunt Harley know ?" I ask.

"Hey Haley who's at the door... Oh you got to be kidding me !" Aunt Harley shouts as she walks into the room and sees Jades with all her luges.

"Hi Aunt Harley" Shina Jades said as she hugged Aunt Harley.

"I hate your susprises vists" Aunt Harley grumbles.

"But I love you" Shina Jade giggles.

Aunt Harley looks at me.

"Don't tell Milo" Aunt Harley mouthes to me.

I nod.

Note: Okay I know it's not like the episode but I hate this episode so I try to put some important for shadowing coming up for the story. At least this one wasn't a 2 parter.
