As vacations just started, I'll (normally) have more time to make some tops. Want a proof? Here's my Supernova 2018 top 21 - yes, i know that I HAVE TO make my top of FiK, but I'm affraid it will be after the show...:

21. JENNY MAY — "SOLEDAD"

Oh boy. I don't even know what else I can say about this. I'vesaid everything already. And by the way, do you know what's the worstpart? People actually seem to like it. Let's... let's just move on,okay?

19. RAHU THE FOOL — "OH, LONGRIVER"

Believe it or not, despite the fact you can barely hear the song (horrible audio quality so it can be even more authentic?), I remember it very well, and it can stay inside of my head for... a few minutes, which is not bad for this kind of songs. It is different, but different doesn't always mean good.

17. DVINES— "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE"

Couldn't find the full version online, sorry, so I can't do a review of the whole song, but I don't think I'd like it anyway – I already don't like the chorus... I think it's kind of boring, but let's wait and see if this song will have a good staging or not...

16. MIONIA— "YOU"

The song itself is beautiful, with this piano and all, but... I don't like her voice at all, and the way she pronounces words. It's too bad, because I feel the song has potential.

As someone said in the comments, this is so going to flop. It's not memorable, the lyrics are weak, and anyway, it's boring.

Don't like his voice, don't like the song, I think it's boring and forgetable. I don't have much to say about this (again, give me the full version) so let's move on.

13. IN MY HEAD — "SUNSET"

This kind of songs fit just sooooo well on Fifa soundtracks! In a song contest, though... not sure about that. The lyrics are not that bad,but I don't really like their voices and the whole ''mood'' of the song.

12. KRIS & OZ — "MORNINGFLIGHT"

Do I like this? I don't know. Sometimes it sounds good, sometimes it doesn't. I need the full version for a full review.

11. MONTA— "1000 ROSES"

I don't like the chorus, I feel like there's something missing... The rest is great – if we also forget about the fact that I don't really like her voice, but whatever. (EDIT: I feel like I start to like this less and less...)

10. MARKUS RIVA — "THIS TIME"

Not bad, not good, a little average, it doesn't really stand out for me. Definitely not the best this year.

9. HYPNOTIC— "PRAY"

Can you feel them? Can you feel these O'G3NE vibes? Cause I do, and it's far from being something bad. However, the song itself doesn't really appeal that much to me, and I think it's rather forgetable.

8. ED RALLIDAE — "WHAT I HAD WITH YOU"

To be honest I don't even know if I like this or not. I guess it will either grow on me a lot or the exact opposite. I kinda like his voice though, so maybe it will help. But then... this song was written by Aminata, so it can eventually make me change my mind about this song (she has a power of persuasion over me... :') (EDIT: I already feel it growing on me!)

7. SUDDEN LIGHTS — "JUST FINE"

I don't have Spotify (yet, mama, you promised me!), so I can't listen to the whole song, but it sounds interesting. It's also something I would hear on Fifa, which is not a bad thing at all.

6. KATRINA GUPALO AND THE BLACK BIRDS — "INTOXICATING CARAMEL"

Okay now this is what you call a guilty pleasure. I already liked it the first time, and I think I like it even more. I think it's really memorable, as it never completely left my mind and I've only listened to it once. However, I really hope it won't win. Cause, you know...it has no chance to do well at Eurovision, just look at the UK 2015.Oh, and it kind of reminds me of this semi final 2 interval act in2016, same vibe, but less fun...

5. MADARA— "ESAMĪBA"

Beautiful and original, it really stands out. However, it is not my favorite and I don't think it can win either Supernova and Eurovision. I would not mind at all if it did, though. I'm also glad it's not in English, even if usually I don't really like songs in foreign languages that much – I like to understand what I hear – but this time, English would have definitely ruined it. 4. KATRINE LUKINS — "RUNNING RED LIGHTS"

I like this, but I think it sounds too much like something we can hear on the radio nowadays (and before you tell me''Oh, but Younger Days is also something that you can hear on the radio, but you still like it, you hypocrite!'', firstly, I still like this entry, I just think that the mall accoustic version is better,and secondly, Younger Days is sung by a male singer and I will almost always prefer male voices to female ones)*. But then, I can't fight against the majority, and if it can give Latvia a good place in the grand final (cause it would qualify for sure), then why not?

3. EDGARS KREILIS — "YOUNGER DAYS"

Okay now this song is going to grow on me a lot I think. I also like the lyrics, as someone said in the comment section of the lyric vid, it's not about two helpless lovers aha! It's catchy and modern,but it can very easily be ruined by some awful staging :coughcough: Line :coughcough:

2. AGNESE STRENGEVICS —"YOU ARE MY WORLD"

Okay, I'm pretty sure that this song can really come to life with a decent staging. I imagine something pretty dark themed at first, and then the stage would fill with light near the end... I also really enjoy the pre-chorus/chorus, I think it is was makes the song not that unoriginal. I'm pretty sure this song will grow on me in the future.

1. LAURA RIZZOTTO — "FUNNY GIRL"

This song was and still is my favorite. I just love the vibe, the melody,her voice... Everything! And there is also the fact that I can kind of relate to the lyrics, it makes me like this song even more. However, I think it can be a bit hard to give it a decent staging, but I'm pretty sure they'll come up with something great!
