39. The Silent Ache of the Sea [PART I]
I chase the sand with every wave,
A love I feel but cannot save.
I touch her edges, soft and slow,
Afraid to harm the one I know.
I long to hold her in my tide,
But if I do, she'll slip, she'll hide.
So I linger back, a quiet plea,
To love her from afar, let her be free.
She stays so close, yet out of reach,
I watch, I yearn, but never breach.
For if I claim her, she'd fade away,
So I love her still, but cannot stay.
