25. Aquatic Reverie
In the glass confines of an aquarium deep,
A fish swims in circles, its secrets to keep.
With fins that flutter and scales that shine,
It navigates its world, a watery shrine.
From dawn till dusk, it roams the tank,
Exploring each corner, no journey to thank.
Its world may be small, its horizon clear,
But within these walls, it knows no fear.
With every flick of its tail, it dances in grace,
A ballet of beauty, in this underwater space.
Through swaying plants and sunken treasures,
It charts its course, without measures.
But beyond the glass, a world unknown,
Where rivers flow and oceans groan,
It dreams of freedom, of open seas,
Where currents carry on gentle breeze.
Yet in the safety of its watery home,
It finds contentment, no need to roam.
For in this aquarium, it has all it needs,
With food aplenty and gentle reeds.
And so it swims, day after day,
In its own little world, where it holds sway.
A silent observer, in a world of glass,
Living a life that's free, yet bound to pass.
