Chapter 6
The search begins

All my senses started to return. I felt warm and sleepy. I tired to get up but a hand stopped me and laid me down again "How are you feeling young prince?"asked a kind voice from somewhere I slowly opened my eyes, I looked around the room with curiosity I was in a strange-looking hut then I noticed three figures were sitting cross-legged, looking calm I recognised the three companions that I saw early with us , they smiled at me all expect Cemark of course then they got up and left the room.

I stumbled toward the crackling fire where Dylan and his friends were sitting quietly, the fire burned bright reddish and orange it flickered and moved around wildly . The smell of something cooking made my stomach growl loudly Ikar waved at me friendly-liked and moved aside on the log so I could sit down "Dylan kindly caught a boar for us while you were asleep" said Ayrie who handed me a huge piece of boar, I kindly thanked him and started eating hungrily the moon shone dimly in the sky the stars sparkled like diamonds "The search for eternal sword will begin on the first light of dawn, make sure you are awake so you don't get left behind"said Dylan glancing at me before disappearing into the hut. I sighed and followed him "Goodnight"I muttered to others they all replied cheerful.

I couldn't walk another step. I collapsed onto the grassy bed , closing my eyes , I could feel Dylan staring at me, the worst part was I had to share a hut with him. I looked up at him annoyed "Please stop staring at me"I asked politely Dylan blinked at me then picked something up from behind him "Here, this will keep out the cold" he gave me a soft blanket I looked stunned. I thought Dylan wanted to kill me and he had never given something to me expect for glares and punches "Thank..you"I stammered I thought I saw a bit of amusement in his scarlet eyes of his "Get some sleep" then he laid down in his own bed and we were soon both snoring away.

The sound of morning birds and the blazing sun on my face woke me up. I slowly started packing up and ate some juicy melon that Ayrie got from a nearby village, soon we were off, Dylan lead the way while I learnt more about this sword from Cemark "The Eternal sword has the power to bring those who were once dead back to life, its a very powerful weapon and many good and evil have tired to wield it but have failed" explained Cemark emotionless , he was no different then Dylan! Hardly showing any emotions at all. A terrible thought came to me 'What if I couldn't wield the sword like all the others that have tired but failed?' Dylan assured me "You were chosen for a reason, whatever the reason was, you are one and only to wield the sword" I nodded "I hope your right about that" I replied "I know I am"responded Dylan confidently.

The search for the Eternal sword has began.
