Chapter 4

The Other World

"Stay still!Or I won't hesitate to kill you!" hissed Dylan trying to keep me still while I was thrashing wildly while dragging me to the window. 'Maybe bitting him will do the trick' but he didn't even flinch when I bit his hand, "I would have expected that painless move from an idiot but not from you little brother" he slapped me hard on the face, I made agonising cry then glare at him angrily. "I'm not your little brother whatever you say! If you really are my so-called brother let go of me then "I ordered angrily . But Dylan didn't let go and made his grip tighter.

"Stand up" Dylan ordered harshly making me stand up on two feet on the window's edge. I tired to steady myself as I stood up 'Was he going to push me to my death?'I though, the drop was so far down it made my head dizzy "Don't look down, it'll just make it even more hard to jump"Dylan scolded me like I was a two-years old.

I stared at him like he had just lost his mind "Your...kidding ...right?"I stammered nervously hoping he had a humorous side to him but the look on his face showed it all, I swallowed then I braced myself ready to jump "1, 2, 3 jump!"yelled Dylan , I stood there frozen like a statute not moving a muscle even after he said jump "I don't have time for this"growled Dylan with frustration.

With a huge push I found myself falling off the window's edge toward the ground "GOD SAVE ME!"I screamed closing my eyes , I was ready to feel the solid ground and sound of my head crack open. But it never came. "Geez, do you have to scream so loud?"said Dylan, I realized that we were sitting on a dark black cloud that was floating gently over the city. We passed a flock of geese when I noticed a familiar house "Hey! That Amelia's house"I shouted pointed to a massive mansion that we were passing "Her family is super rich, all the boys at school want her to be their girlfriend " I told Dylan. Dylan slightly tilted his head to the side "So, who is this Amelia? Do you two get along?"I looked at him and saw and tiniest hint of curiosity I blushed under Dylan's intense "I don't see her often" I replied Dylan came and sat beside me, "Hang on, who controlling the cloud?"I asked hoping we were not going to crash into someone apartment "It can control itself until we reach our destination"Dylan replied I looked confused 'Destination?' "Where are you taking me?"I looked at him expecting an answer Dylan just shrugged "You will just have to find out for yourself". I bit my lower lip 'There is no point in asking him then' I though to myself bitterly. I was starting to get sleepy.

A bright light in front of us caught my attention. I urgently started tapping Dylan's shoulder "Are we heading for that light?" I asked fearing the answer would be yes , Dylan nodded "The portal is opening to the other world " I shook my head 'Portal? Other world' Has Dylan lost his mind now?' I had to shield my eyes from strange luminous light as we got closer.

The sound of noisy birds and the sound of a waterfall cached down the cliff told me we weren't in the city anymore. I opened my eyes and gasped in amazement. We were in a different dimension!

"Welcome to the Other World!" Announced Dylan.
