Erica's POV

     So, Eternal Kingdom isn't far from here and they all decided we camp outside their boundaries, how cruel? Before you knew it the entrance of the eternal kingdom was right in front of me.

And it says.

"Welcome to The Eternal Kingdom of Grace". I muttered out because it was eye catchy. The design was just too perfect and sculptured.

Nora also stared in wonder as we entered into the community of the kingdom. I was expecting such kingdom to be dark, Gothic and lifeless. But it was the opposite.

Vampires walking here and there, everything being a global village, everything looking outstanding. As we walked through, vampires gave way for the armies and I.

I was awed by every detail of this kingdom. But suddenly it dropped.

"Isn't that Princess Erica from Velthelment kingdom?" One of them asked.

"Yes. It is." Another answered.

"She's being defeated. Her kingdom has fallen," another said with a victorious tone.

"Feast on our enemy." A male voice spoke.

Immediately, their eyes turned blood red as they charged towards me but the guards quickly covered me.

"You all dare not," Leo said angrily pushing them away.

"Why protect our enemy?" One of them questioned with same anger.

"Because the king hasn't proclaim his judgment on her." Leo answered.

"If you all want to be persecuted by our Sire then you can test his patience." David added as they all backed off.

How powerful is their so called king?
He'll pay for taking my family away from me.
They'll all pay.

Anger and revenge were bubbling inside me but still I couldn't do anything.

We walked further away from the houses, the citizens and the markets and what came to my sight was the palace. If I called it a palace I would be lying, it was a freaking castle. So big, large and almost covered the whole city here.

It was so beautiful, with sculptures here and there as the sun brighten it a little. I was completely mesmerized.

"Breathtaking, huh?" David queried.

I just couldn't utter a word.

I was now pushed inside the palace entrance and suddenly every where turned dark, evil and devilish. But in a soothing way I didn't like. Bats flew here and there, crows flew here and there the only strange thing was I couldn't here their animal sound.

It was more of a Gothic place but still mesmerizing.
How can a castle be scary and beautiful at the same time?
It was like I entered another portal of life.

"Move." Leo pushed me forward in an arrogant way as we entered into the castle.

It was also damn beautiful. Just too beautiful as I looked around.
Candles here and there. Chandeliers everywhere with candles on it.

It was bright and it had a funny feeling in here.
In the castle it was also quiet like there wasn't any soul.

And what came to my sight was the throne which faced the whole hall. I was wondering how many doors I passed to get here.

Where was my mind?

The throne was at the end of the hall but also a bit high from where I stood. It had three chairs.

The middle chair was the biggest among the two other chairs beside it and the right hand chair was bigger that the left hand chair.

When I was done studying every part of the room, I then noticed someone was sitting on the middle throne sit.

Staring at me intensively.

"We bow to you our Sire, may you live long." Leo greeted as he bowed his head followed by David and then Nora.

I completely forgot Nora was still with me.

Nora gave me a sigh to bow but I refused.

"You fool bow now." Leo Insulted calmly. 

But I also kept deaf ears staring at their so called king.

"Sire, I apologies for not being able to let her subject under you." Leo covered up immediately.

"You just Insulted the king before his subject, Please bow." David begged.

I still stubbornly refused.

It then came to my notice that his governors and Chief speakers were also in the room.

Seriously, where was my mind?

Before I could blink, he stood up from his throne and gradually walked towards me climbing down from the three stairs...

As he strides towards me I could see power, pride, gorgeousness and arrogance.

Now he stood in front of me with a rigid face. He was just too handsome for my liking.

Blue hazel ravishing eyes, nice chiseled jaw, well sculptured nose, brown nug meg hair and with a dangerous calm face.

"Why have you refused to bow?" He queried with a beautiful deep Spanish tone.

His voice sent waves of fear down my spine. His height belittled me as he stared at me not acknowledging my presence.

But, I won't let that weigh me down.
I know who I am.

"I'll never bow down to a blood sucking demon like you." I responded stubbornly as his subjects gasped in shock.

He just stared at me blankly, in a scary way.

I was expecting him to show how annoyed he'll be but he wasn't.
He just walked away from me to Nora, staring down on her.

"Where are the remaining hostages?" He asked.

I just don't get why he kept staring at me when he directed his question to Leo.

"They didn't survive the rogue attack." Leo replied.

"And a human did?" He asked in distaste his voice loud being perplexed and disgusted.

"What kingdom is this little vamp from?" He asked about Nora residence.

"Kingdom of Exhadria. A kingdom which held a huge amount of debt. The didn't surrender so we attacked, the only survival is this young lad." Leo elaborated.

"My punishment still remains. 20 lashes with a horse tail," the king said in a cold tone.

He must be kidding.

"How heartless can you be, to flog a child in such a mannerless way?" I asked angrily as I struggled to release myself from the guards hold.

"Take the child away to face her judgement," the king said plainly caring lees on the amount of pain he'll cause Nora.

Nora began to shake in fear. I was also scared for her. What if she didn't survive? This is wrong. What kind of judgment was this, to punish a child for her kingdom lack of resources?

"Princess." Nora called out to me in fear as she was dragged away.

"No let her be." I screamed.
"She might die. You fool." I yelled to watch how Nora left my sight.

"Shut up human." Leo yelled at me being infuriated.

"You can't tell me what to do moron. You stupid king, you'll pay for all the pain you are inflicting on people, I'll make you pay for taking my family away from me, I'll make you pay." I yelled angrily at their so called vampire king.

"Shut it." The king ordained.

As my mouth went shut immediately out of my will.
What such of power does he hold?
But I disagreed.

"You sucking leech can't tell me what to do." I shouted out loud.

"I apologies Sire but she's hard to pin." Leo spoke immediately.

"She's the Princess of Velthelment kingdom, the worrier of her people, where's are father and her sister's." The king questioned Leo.

"They all died in the battle young Sire." Leo lied.

"You blood sucking lying. You killed my father and sisters. You killed them all." I yelled out feeling sudden pain.

"Shut the hell up human." Leo warned.

"You shut up fool. I'll kill you, I'll make sure I wipe you and your stupid king out of this earth..."

I was cut out of my sentence as my face swiftly met the ground, the shape of my face made a hole on the ground.
Suddenly I recall the king gave me a wicked slap that resulted to me in this position.

I couldn't get up. Like I was plastered to the ground because of his forceful hit.

I won't loose to them. More than that can bring me down. I told myself as I lifted my body from the floor to see blood sipping out from my head.

The king, Leo, David, the guards and the kings government watched in curiosity as I tried to get up with my bleeding head.

"She survived that?" Leo asked perplexed.

"She won't." The king replied confidently.

I suddenly fell back to the ground as my head started making loud noises, my eyes became blurry. My consciousness slipping away from me.

Once again, I was defeated and I was disgusted with myself.
I was just too weak.

"What a stupid human?" The king Insulted.
"For such front she pulled today, she will be thrown into the donjon until I decide when she'll get out. She is from now a slave, not a servant but a human slave and should be treated as such. She will suffer and keep suffering till she dies. All this are for disrespecting my authority. That's my judgement passed unto her," he wickedly said as I became unconscious.

For I know now that I'm doomed.
I just want die now. I just want to be with my family once again.

When I get up, what will be of me now?
