Guys, I was having a confusion on whose POV I should write on, so I picked Erica's . She'll give you the information you need.

Erica's POV

I blinked my eyes a couple of times to see I was in the donjon. I tried sitting back up but my spine hurts.

When I finally sat up, I was greatful my spinal cord didn't break. I quickly rested my back on the wall to process every little thing.

It's a pity how Steven trust Nika with all the information he has. It was also a slap on my face to know that Nika had the slightest idea of me wanting to kill Steven.

I want Steven to suffer but not this ways. Because this way was going to cost Emma's life.
Why can't he listen to me? Why can't they see they are blindfolded?
Why can't they think and do the right thing?

I questioned myself.

There will have to be some other way. Something at least.

I was left in the donjon for a week with no food but only water.
I decided not to drink it because it might be poisoned.

After one more week, Emma's life would be taken away. Heavens, please tell me what to do.

"If it isn't Erica the exposer." I heard her voice but didn't reply

"You lost. You lost big time. You should have been wise enough to keep your mouth shut. After Steven and I's wedding, you'll be eliminated. Why try to safe your enemy? When this is the right time to make him suffer?" She questioned with a smirk as I glared at her.

"Yes your right, I'll kill Emma. She'll be dead in a weak time. She's weak, she can't breath she's so lifeless now and now she'll die. Then I'll come after granny and she'll die too. This will all happen because of Steven's negligence." She told me and laughed out loud.

"Alright go tell the whole word what I said. No one. I mean no one will believe you stupid and useless human. Why don't you make it easier yourself to die now." She spoke heartlessly and left.

"Just know that you'll die, I'll make sure of that." She told me leaving the donjon arena.

I don't want Emma to suffer, she's suffering already. Nice ma'am Lucy will die regardless she doesn't like my kind. Why can't I think of something to do?

3 days to go and it would be Steven and Nika's engagement party. Maybe by then Emma would be dead.

I apologies father, my mother and sisters that I couldn't save a nice soul.

"Erica." A voice called my name.
"Erica." It called again as I raised my head to see Linda and Rosa standing outside the bar.

Suddenly my eyes sparkled with joy. They didn't forget me here.

"We're so so sorry for not coming to see you earlier. We were finding ways to distract the guards." Rosa told me.

"No worries no worries." I replied trying to calculate what I could do to save Emma.

This was an opportunity and it isn't going to waste.

"I heard what happened, Rosa and I know you wouldn't. Lady Nika is up to no good." Linda told me.

"Can you help me out?" I requested.

"Anything." Rosa replied.

"What are friends for by the way." Linda added.

"Listen. Go to the market Rosa. I want you to get me an elephant grass, nut meg and a sachet of milk. Those ingredient should be brought with a mortal, a pestle and a bowl by tomorrow." I told her as she nodded in agreement.

"Is there anyway you can get me lady Nika's room key?" I asked directing the question to Linda.

She stared at me in shock and nodded her head. "I'll try, I'll try." She kept saying in a shaking voice.

"Pls do. I want everything by tomorrow." I told them as they were about to leave when a guard stepped in.

Out of fear we stared at the guard which asked. "What's going on here?" 

That voice reminded me of David.

"David." I muttered out.

"Erica. Please don't worry I'll beg the king to keep you alive. I know you will never do such to princess Emma." He told me holding my bar.

A part of me felt happy that this 3 where able to help me out.

"No David I want you to do something else." I requested as he stared at Linda and Rosa then back at me.

"They are also helping you out?" He directed the question to me.

"Definitely." Linda and Rosa replied together.

"What do you want Erica?" He asked ready to do as I say.

"I want you to distract the guards by tomorrow so that Linda and Rosa can come see me. I also want you to get the keys to my donjon a day after tomorrow." I told him.

David smiled. "That's a piece of cake." He told me as Linda, Rosa and him left the donjon.

Emma, I'll safe you. I'm doing all this because you deserve to live nobody deserves to die except your brother.

Because he's selfish, he's nonchalant and negligent of the truth.

The next day Linda and Rosa rushed in handing me items I requested.

"How did you get the key?" I questioned in shock.

"It's all about art. I drew her room padlock and took it to a welder who calved her room key." Linda told me with a smile as I did same.

"But Erica, what do you want to do in her room?" Rosa asked in fear of me getting caught.

"I want to find solid evident. Nika is planning on marrying his majesty and after the marriage she's going to kill him taking Eternal Kingdom into her control." I elaborated as they both stared at me terrified.

"Now I'm going to mix a anti poison lotion. Once I'm done please try all means to give it to Emma by tomorrow." I told them as they nodded.

"How long will it take you?" Linda asked in concern.

"A whole of today." I replied.

"Ladies the guards are arriving we have to leave." David notified us.

"Please be alright okay," Rosa said in a worried tone.

"I will be." I assured them as they left.

Then I began to prepare the lotion. I traveling and being around my armies, I learned a lot.

How to make antidote against snake bites.
Medicine for fever.
Lotions for fungal disease and so much more.

My only prayer is how to make an anti intoxicating medicine. It's meant to work instantly for 30 minutes after intake.

Once I was done, I covered it and kept it out anyone's sight.

Finally the 3rd day hit me. This was Steven and Nika's engagement party. Where's Linda, Rosa and David?

And right then they stepped in.

"Thanks for coming." I appreciated.

"No problem. We got you water." Rosa handed a bottle of water as I gulped it down.

"I was truly thirsty. Thanks."
"Linda please stay in this donjon and pretend to be me." I told her.

"Okay." She accepted.

"Rosa rush to Emma's room and give her this substance. Wait there for 30 minutes to be sure that the antidote worked."

"Alright." She replied taking the substance from my hand.

"David where's the key?"

"Here." He answered unlocking the bar door.
"The guards guarding your donjon is been distracted." He notifies as I came out of the donjon.

"Alright, please follow me to Nika's room. I want you to keep a look out if she or anyone else is coming," I said coming out of the donjon as he nodded in acceptance.

Linda entered into the donjon as my replacement, Rosa ran to Emma's room while David and I rushed over to lady Nika's room. I got out the key I was given and opened the door.

To my surprise it did. I've got smart friends. "David keep a look out." I told him. "No worries."  He replied as I stepped in closing the door behind me.

I gradually looked for a candle in her room and light it up. I walked up to her desk in search of anything that will prove me right. Then I saw a letter and carefully opened it.

I read it and saw that she was sending a message to her father telling him she was going to marry Steven and bring him and his family down. A lot was written and I quickly took the letter.

I searched around again to see the procedure on how to make an intoxicating poison and my eyes widened.

So all this while she was the one making it. No wonder it was in supply to give Emma everyday.

Emma is strong. If it was another they would have been dead after 2 weeks.
Emma has suffered in the hands of Nika.

I took the sample and left her room locking it back. "You've got everything?" David asked.

"Definitely." I replied.

"Hey you two, stop right there." 5 guards yelled.

Shit they found out I wasn't in the donjon. I hope Linda is okay.

"Lets run." David suggested holding my wrist..

"You can't fool us. Erica today is your elimination day. You won't escape." They shouted as we kept running.

"David do you know where the ceremony is taking place?" I asked while running in fear of not wanting them to catch us.

"Yes. To the left." He replied as we turned. "And to the right," he said as we took the root losing the guards.

We were now at the royal garden to see that the engagement party was proceeding. Royal chiefs were there, royal guards and maidens were at their place. Ma'am Lucy was there, the king's royal subjects were there, also the nobles.

"STOP." I yelled out as everyone snapped their necks to my direction.

"Erica." Steven muttered in confusion and shock.

"Guards stop her. " Nika ordered.

"Don't stop me." I also ordered.
"I object this engagement." I told everybody as they all gasped.

"Why will a human object a royal marriage." They muttered out in shock.

"Sire why isn't this human dead?" A royal subject asked.

"Oh shut up." I told the royal subject and everyone gasped.

"Human. Your useless attitude is causing a sense here. Return back to the donjon." Ma'am Lucy warned.

"I apologies but I won't. Lady Nika here has an interior motive to take Eternal Kingdom unto her control." I told them all.

"Shut up stupid bitch. Guard take her down." Nika ordered angrily as the guards charged towards me but David stood in front of me.

"Touch her and die." David threatened.

Steven eyes widened at the sense. "David."  He muttered with widened.

"Your highness please listen to her." David pleaded.

"You all think I'm lying. You all think ill of me. Take a look at this letter." I said raising the letter up as I stepped forward.

Nika stared at me in fear.
I gave it to David to read it out loud.

"Dear father. Our plans to take Eternal Kingdom into our hands is working out. I've brainwashed Steven in thinking I'm only for him and him alone. He tells me everything about his kingdom enhancement and achievement. His little sister is dying gradually and once she's dead, I'll also kill ma'am Lucy the exact way. But my one obstacle is a stupid human, I won't let her ruin my plans to have Eternal Kingdom under my influence. Now I'm getting engaged to Steven and anytime Eternal Kingdom will be ours." David read out as everyone shifted their gaze to Nika, whose tongue seemed tied.

Ma'am Lucy had tears in her eyes, Steven was more perplexed at a spot. He couldn't move, he kept staring at me with guilty eyes.

"Shut up stupid man. Steven they cranked all those up. Please believe me. They don't want us to be together. She's lying. They are all lying, trust me. I love you and won't don't that." She begged in an innocent voice.

"Humans always lie. She's doing all this to kill you. Didn't you tell me she wanted to kill you?" She asked holding his hands.

"Nika enough. You still think I'm lying. Look at this procedures. Steps on how to prepare and intoxicating poison. Nika I saw this in your room." I told her.

"You're such a lair. " She yelled out.

"According to the message you'll use the same system to eliminate ma'am Lucy."

"Shut up human."  She yelled loudly her eyes turning red.

"If I made that up. Don't forget I'm a slave. My family are all dead."

"Shut up slave."

" In the letter you called me an obstacle, I'm in the donjon were there isn't any paper or pen. So look closely at the message this isn't my hand writing. Don't forget I found this in your room." I blurted out as everyone stared at Nika.

"I said shut up." She yelled loudly as she charged towards me.

Before she could guards surrounded her. Steven eyes were red, like he was controlling his guards.

"Kill her." He told them furiously as they aimed for her but before they could course any harm. Nika started floating in the air with blood shot eyes.

"You stupid human. I'll make you pay. I'll make you pay for ruining my plans. I'll kill you," She said and flew away.

So vampires can fly? That's when I released my breath I never knew I was holding.

"Brother." I could hear Emma's lively voice.

Suddenly my eyes brightened with joy. The medicine worked.

"Emma you're okay now?" He asked being so perplexed as he hugged his sister daringly.

Suddenly I felt jealous. Just look at him. He has his sister back.

"Yes I am. Erica sent Rosa to me and gave me an antidote which revived me. Erica is such an angle." Emma told him hugging him back.
"I never knew that Nika was poisoning me because every single day I get more weak and couldn't know how to breath properly," she said.

Suddenly I was enclosed by a big hug. I found out that it was Linda and Rosa.

"I was so scared that it won't work out." Rosa told me as tears fell from her eyes.

"I'm happy all this is over. You've suffered enough," Linda said with tears falling from her eyes.

"I'm good now. At least I know I won't die now." I told them with a smile.

David also stared at me with warm eyes. "Thank you David." I appreciated.

"Always. For you're welcome." He replied.

"Please I want to speak with you Erica." Ma'am Lucy spoke stopping our moment.

Rosa, Linda and David stared at me and ma'am Lucy before they walked off.

I was now standing in front of ma'am Lucy with an unfriendly look.

"You wanna slap me on the face again," I sarcastically said while she stared at me with tears in her eyes.

"Erica. I'm deeply sorry. I let the fact of you being a human get to my head without differentiating between right and wrong. Please find it your heart to forgive me and my little family." She pleaded going down her knees.

"No no no, please don't kneel before me. Please. I've forgiven you. I'm just doing the right thing even though I despise your kind your highness." I replied raising her up.

"Thanks for saving my family. I will reward you in big fold." She told me retuning to her once happy and jolly mood.

This was the attitude I met before she realized I was human.
"No need your highness." I declined nicely.

"You can't say that. Today you've proved to me that humans are good In heart and nothing will change the impression you've created today." She told me patting my cheeks with a happy smile and walked away.

"Erica." I heard Emma joyful voice.

Oh how much I've missed it.

"Heyyy." I replied with a smile as she quickly hugged my legs.

"Thanks for saving me. I was sure I would die today." She told me and I saw myself chuckling a little squatting to her height.

"I told Steven that Nika was bad but he got me believing that's she's good that's why I feel for her skim," she said glaring at Steven who was staring at both Emma and I with a smile.

Immediately we caught him smiling he stopped, staring at me with guilt.

"I got to go. Rosa so funny and I want to be friends with both Linda and Rosa they helped you to this extent to help me live." She told me hugging me and left running towards Linda and Rosa.

David immediately carried her over his head and it got me smiling.

I stood up and wanted to walk away. "Erica." Steven called out softly.

There was no denial that my name sound so sweet from his mouth. But what now? Instead I kept walking forward.

"Erica please listen to what I've got to say." He blurted out.

Such words angered be as I swiftly turned to face him.

"Yeah say what you've got to say. You wanna call me slave? You wanna tell me I'm useless and stupid?" I asked indirectly but in a calm manner.

"No, none of that." He answered softly.

"Then you wanna strangle me,"

"Please not that."

" Then you're willing to throw me across the wall, call me names or bite me." I mentioned calmly.

"N.. none of that Erica, please listen," he said almost stuttering because of how my calm attitude was intimidating him.

I kept staring at him calmly not acknowledging the fact that I was standing to talk to him.

"I know what I've done to you is in forgiveable, please find it in your heart to forgive me. Because I'm deeply sorry. I took your family away from yuh and you had to go out of your way to save one of mine. Why do such after my negligence?" He questioned softly trying not anger me.

Forgiving him was far from my mind.

"Listen Sire. It's quite more painful when your love ones hurts you than a your enemies. I did all this because it was the right thing to do. Emma doesn't deserve die for your wicked deeds. You're the one that deserves to die a painful death and I'll make sure of it." I told him with full hatred and turned to leave.

"Erica I'll make it up to you please." He begged holding my wrist to stop me from working away.

Out of anger I turned towards him and dragged my wrist away from his hold. "Don't touch me you blood suc..."

My voice hooked instantly and at that same moment I started throwing out blood from my mouth.

"Erica are you okay? " He asked in fear.

"My tummy." I cried holding it in pain as I kept coughing out blood. My nose lungs blocked instantly.

Steven tried to holding me. "Don't touch me." I tried screaming while pushing him away. Suddenly my breath started to drop slowly.

I tried breathing but couldn't. Death is definitely painful "Shit Erica. GUARDS GUARDS." Steven yeld out for help in fear.

My body kept getting weak and weaker as my eyes began to close up, what's happening to me. It seems like I drank poison but how?

"Go get the doctor." Steven ordered panicking in the process as he carried me bridal style.

Suddenly everything went blank. I'm dying already.
