Chapter 11
The guests were arriving in there carriages one by one. First were Bow and her mother and father. Bow in a ruby red gown with matching coloured hair pulled back in a neat bun. As soon as she saw me we greeted each other with open arms when no one was looking.
"You look magnificent Silv." She whispered.
"Oh yes true!" I said sarcastically "You look exquisite!"
"Oh I know!" We both giggled until my mother came in.
"Good to see you Bow." She smiled at Bow but she didn't look at me. My mother went off to greet the other guests, and Bow at glanced me.
"What was that about? I could sense tension between the both of you." I shook my head. I really had no idea. Bow nodded and didn't push it then grabbed a hold of my arm." Is that him the crocodile prince?" I towards Vronderos still in his usual wear but instead of a black cape it was a dark green coat. He leered at me so I turned away and took Bow with me.
"Yes that's Vronderos. Or shall I say Vronterror; he is the most egocentric vile man I have ever met." I whispered hastily in her ear and she giggled. "You know he told me off. He told my mother that I was in the woods. Sour head fool." I mumbled. Bow covered her mouth to hold her laughter. I to was close to blowing up. Looking around the room I had to admit that the ballroom looked fantastic, it's not a very large room it's all we had. The walls were a bright green, the floor was polished marble and the very top in the middle of the ceiling a large crystal chandelier. Bow snapped me back to reality and took a look at some the men walking in through the door.
"Look at all these handsome men! More just keep on coming." She said excitedly.
"Which one will you dance with?"
"One?" She said sardonically and we both laughed. I searched the room then I smelt him again. Salt water and fish, Bow noticed how stiff I had gotten.
"Silvana are you alright?" She asked worried. I dragged her to another room and told her about my encounter with Pete on the beach, then again at the flower shop. "So he's a pirate! How thrilling you've met an actual pirate!" I hushed her to be quiet.
"He is a captain of his own ship!"
"He's the captain of the 'Great White'." She said not believing it for one second.
"Is that what the ships called? Wow!" I was amazed.
"Silvana the captain of the 'Great White' is a were shark!" She explained. A were shark no wonder he smelt of dead fish. "But Silv why are you telling me this now? You have guests out there waiting to see you!"
"I am telling you this now because I think he's out there now!" I exclaimed before Bow said a word my mother came in.
"There you are! The guests are waiting to see you!" She screeched. Bow and I walked back to the ballroom where everyone was talking and laughing and also drinking.
"Where is he now?" Bow whispered in my ear.
"He is probably in a disguise again. Anyway it doesn't matter I have guests to talk to and people to avoid at all costs." I responded quietly. Bow went off to entertain a group of men. I on the other hand tried to avoid all of them. Which was easy at the beginning but then the music started and everyone began to dance. I saw Bow join in with a man and danced together. More couples joined in and everyone was dancing in a big circle soon everyone would swap partners then swap again that’s how the dance goes. At the other end of the room a man with a curly mustache and dark eyes that kept starring at me. When he saw me glance at him he gave a dazzling grin, it made my heart flutter. I couldn't help but smile not a huge grin but one that tells him I'm interested. I turned my head away but kept my eyes on his. I started to stroll around and he did the same. Following my exact movements. Everyone was dancing in the middle of the room so I led him far from the crowd at one side of the room where only a few people were standing chatting and gossiping.

We were still on our sides of the room but that changed in a few seconds. We paced eagerly towards each other and soon were face to face.
"Hello stranger." I said playfully. He sinisterly smiled back then took my hand up to towards his mouth and gave it a little peck.
"My lady, how are you tonight?" He asked playing around with the ends of his moustache. I giggled silently.
"I am well thank you." I responded "I love the moustache by the way," I leaned in closer towards him and started to whisper. "But I must ask what your doing here I'm not sure it's safe for you to be here." He leaned in closer our noses almost touching.
"You care enough for me that you wouldn't want me to be captured by the guards. You just can't resist my charms." He smirked. How dare he say that! I glowered at him but that just amused him more. So I turned to walk away, I sensed him about to take my hand but stopped when Vronderos came towards me.
"Lady Silvana would you do me the honor of dancing with me?" Vronderos asked kindly but his smile looked like it was forced. I took his hand and he led me to the circle of dancers. He slipped his arm around my waist and his other hand took my hand he pull me close my breasts pushed against his chest. He twirled me around and lifted me up in the air. When I came back down he pulled me close again and then began to talk.
"I must say I love you gown Silvana." I searched the room for Pete.
"Thank you ah..." I stared back up at him.
"I think you and I have a connection don't you?" I was caught by surprise.
"What exactly do we have in common? Unless when you say connection you mean my bosom squashed at your chest I don't see it." I retorted he laughed then was about to speak again. Luckily it was time to swap partners I twirled to my next partner. Who was Pete!
"Hello again." He spoke softly. I rolled my eyes at him, then he turned be around so my back was pressed against his chest. "I apologize if I have offended you." I turned back around to face him.
"You didn't offend me you just... annoyed me. Don't worry I am not mad." I smiled. He spun me around in a circle then moved his left hand round my waist and his right hand in twined with mine. We danced, I laughed and he smirked. We were dancing our hearts out then unfortunately we had to swap partners. My next partner was a tall sort of stout, dancing with him wasn't as pleasant. I kept peeping around searching for Pete. When I found him dancing with Bow he kept glancing at me and Bow noticed and glimpsed between him and I. When she looked back at me her eyes were wide and cheerful and her smile was just the same. Then we swapped partners again, and I was with Vronderos.
"Silvana you look very pleasing tonight. I think you and I are the best looking couple here don't you think?" Again I was shocked.
"Why are you assuming that we are a pair? Please explain to me how you could think that?" I was defiantly upset now why must he spoil everything?
"Now Silvana don't make a scene. I'm only trying to be friendly." He lowered his. "Actually I think I have grown very fond of you Silvana. I have a question to ask you. Actually it's more of a proposal..." Then and there I felt sick. My heart pounded in my chest. No way! Never! I glared at him and he stared down at me.
"I’m afraid it will have to wait I need some air." I turned to head off but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back at him. I stared at him hesitantly I noticed his reaching something in his pocket. I tore my arm away from him and hid the in the crowed. I needed air I had to get out! I ran through the front door down the steps and into the woods I ended up at the river we're my brother and I used to hunt together and battle each other. I missed him so much; my heart was beating rapidly as I was catching my breath. I leaned against willow tree breathing heavily. This was the plan all along he came to force my hand in marriage. What a cunt! I felt the venom start to trickle round in my mouth. The fangs were popping out now. I heard a stick crack a few meters away, I turned and hissed.
"It’s only me..." Pete spoke softly. My fangs sank back in and I sighed exhausted. "I saw you run are you alright?" He asked looking worried. I shook my head, no I wasn't alright. But could I trust a pirate with my troubles I still don't know him well enough to tell him anything. He stared at me very concerned.
"Why do you care what happens to me? Why are you even here?" I questioned. He took a step forward trying to look serious which was very hard while he was wearing that stupid moustache.
"You saved my life. I owe you one." He said "And I think you are the most interesting person I have ever met." I looked at him surprised. I walked a few steps towards him so I was gazing up at him.
"You think I am interesting?" I asked with disbelief. He gazed down at me his dark eyes were shining. He started breathing heavily; it made me start to breath heavily.
"Yes I do." He leaned in slowly towards me. My heart was beating out of my chest. I could hear voices in my head yelling and screaming my name...
Wait.
Those aren't coming from my head. People are screaming my name. Pete heard them to.
"Pete! Run!" I whispered loudly. When he didn't move I pushed him in the river.
"Silvana!" It was my father's voice. I walked straight towards the yelling and cry of my name. I first bumped into Lord Fotheros, he didn't look to happy to see me. My father was soon next to him and Vronderos came out from the trees and stood next to me.
"Silvana are you alright?" Vronderos asked in a concerned voice but didn't look it. I nodded.
"I told you I needed some air." I stated looking up at him then towards my father. His face had absolutely no expression. So I turned down and didn't look anyone in the eye. "Well shall we head back?" I sensed their cold eyes glaring at me; I shook them off and headed for the house.
"I heard a splash?" Vronderos started.
"Really I never heard anything..." I said calmly. He stared at me but I ignored him.
