Chapter 6: Blue's Lament
Error just... stood there, probably processing what just happened. His sockets were just deep red, with black ERRORs filling them. His entire skull was yellow. "C'mon, Error! Time to go home..." You said, stopping yourself. Did you....just call the void.... home? "Err-uh... I-i mean... THE VOID! Yeah, let's go back to the Void!" You said, slightly flustered. Error returned to normal and looked at you. "Yeah, sure." He said. He opened a portal, and extended his fingers a bit. He stopped. "Wait, do I even need to tie you?" He said. You shook your head. Error put his hand back in his pocket and smiled wider. "Good girl." He said. Your smile drooped a bit. He was starting to treat you like an item. Your smile disappeared, and was replaced with a cold look. "I am not an item, nor an animal. Never, EVER, say that to me again." Error looked slightly scared from the sudden change. "R-right." He said. You turned to the portal and walked in, back to the empty white. You already missed the green grass, fluffy golden-white clouds, and blue sky. Blue. What happened to Blue? Where was he? Is he ok? For some reason, all you could think about was him. "(Y/n)? Are you ok?" Error asked. You looked at him. "What happened to Blue?" You asked.
-----Blue's POV-----
"Bro, can you come out for dinner? I made tacos." Papyrus said. I sighed, hugging the pillow in front of me. It was soaked, and slightly glowing blue. "No thanks, Pap. I...I'm not hungry." I replied. I then heard him sigh. "Are you still crying over that girl? What was her name...(Y/n)?" He said. This time, I sighed. "Yeah...I don't know why, but I really miss her. I feel....empty. When she's around, I feel warm, happy, and that I can do anything in the world. But now..... nothing. Nothing but loneliness, sadness, and...." I sighed again. I felt tears streaming down my face. I wiped them off, and closed my eye sockets, hoping for sleep. "Welp, guess I got to eat these by myself." Papyrus said as I heard his footsteps fade to almost nothing. Silence engulfed my bedroom, and I imagined cruising down the street in a speedy blue car, but, (Y/n) was sitting in the passenger's seat, sunlight reflecting from her (e/c) eyes. Her (h/c) hair was whipping behind her, and a cute (f/c) bow was tightly tied to her head, keeping her hair out of her face. (Or it's just there for decoration if you have short hair)
'She's so pretty...' I thought.
Suddenly, the clear blue sky turned a crimson red and black, and the car lurched to a stop. (Y/n) looked around, frightened. She then looked at me. "Blue....I'll come back. For you." She said. She smiled, and she was suddenly wrapped by blue strings. They pulled her up, away from me, to a white rip in the sky. The rip closed, and a maniacal, glitchy laugh echoed around me. Everything faded to black, and I started falling. It was slow at first, but then I started falling faster and faster. (Y/n)'s voice echoed around the black darkness, being happy and positive when I started falling, but the faster I fell, the more negative and hate-filled comments she made. I suddenly landed hard on the ground. I heard all of my bones break, and I saw bits of dust flake off of me. (Y/n)'s voice said one last thing before I completely disintegrated, but it sounded like she was nine again. "What are you, going to this school? Monsters are horrible creatures, and they all should go to hell. Don't think that we can be friends, skull brain. You all should of stayed under that pile of dirt, so no one would see your unholy faces." I closed my eye sockets as I completely turned to dust.
I woke up suddenly, breathing heavily. I all seemed real, but I knew it was just a dream. I felt tears again, and I grabbed my pillow and hugged it, blue tears streaming down my face again. Papyrus suddenly barged in, concern filling his eye sockets. "Sans, are you alright? I heard a gasp and crying!" He said, looking at me. His gaze softened, and he walked over to me and hugged me. "It's alright, bro..." He said. "I...I miss (Y/n).....when will she come back?" I asked. "Soon, brother. But for now, come down and have breakfast." papyrus replied. "No...I'm not hungry." I
simply stated, looking out of the window on the other side of the room. The yellowy-green trees reminded me that it was spring, almost summer. It reminded me of when we met. The trees were a similar color that day. We were in a park, on the swings. (Y/n) had asked her parents for some money, so she could buy ice-cream for both of us. I chose blueberry and she chose (f/f) (favorite flavor). She told me that she's never had a monster friend before, and I replied with 'I've never had a human friend before.' She smiled at me, and I smiled at her. We continued eating.
'I miss her so, so, so much. I wish I could tell her that I love her...' I thought. I then fell asleep.
