(This is a really short episode due to the next one possibly being the largest one I've ever written of all time so I hope ya'll can understand if I take a lil' bit for the next part, which is why this one is coming out so soon)

(Volume 2) Chapter 9: Surprising Ally

You run into the building and up the stairs to where your team is as you see Jack starting to bleed heavily from his side as he sits down with Blake trying to replace his bandages.

You:"What's up? Why'd Jack need me?"

Yang:"Because we need your Semblance." Jack looks pale, his body shaking. He's managed to lose a lot of his blood.

You:"How can I help?"

Blake:"Though Jack is gonna hate us, we're gonna have to cauterize the wound." Oh Christ.

Jack:"N-no! I'll be fine!" Blake looks up at Jack with a serious look.

Blake:"You do know this could very easily get infected out here, right? And with this amount of blood lost you could VERY easily die if you're not careful." Jack is freaking out

You:"Jeez I understand the situation but CAUTERIZING the wound? Let me see how bad the wound is." Blake reluctantly lifts up the bandages as the VERY bloody mess of his slice wound seems to be getting worse.

Jack:"S-see, not so bad, right?" He says as he mistakenly places his hand directly on his wound and immediately yelps in incredible pain.

You:"Anyways can't we just stitch him up?"

Weiss:"That was our first idea, but at the rate of blood loss he has, the faster option is to cauterize it."

Jack:"T-there's gotta be something else we can do, right!?" Jack's eyes light up with fear

Blake:""Sorry Jack..." You sigh as your palm begins to glow and heat up with your Combustion side as Jack begins panicking. Both Yang and Blake hold down Jack as you walk right in front of him. You see Weiss give Jack a rolled up piece of fabric as Jack bites down on it, getting ready

You:"Alright, 3." Your hand hovers over his wound as Jack closes his eyes, breathing fearfully and heavily "2!" you place your palm on the wound as the sound of sizzling skin comes from your hand as Jack's muffled painful yells ring out as Yang holds down Jack and hugs him, trying to comfort him as Jack buries his head into Yang's shoulder while still crying out in muffled pain as you continue to cauterize the wound. After what felt like ages but was honestly probably only about 10 seconds you take your hand off the wound. You look up to see that he's passed out which is very understandable from that searing pain, his head still on Yang's shoulders, tears stains on his eyes...God that's gonna give you nightmares later. The rest of the team is dead silent. Blake quickly walks over and bandages his now cauterized wounds. You sigh as Yang is running her fingers through his hair.

Yang:"God, that was painful to even just watch...can't even imagine how the poor thing felt during that." That was the first time you ever heard your brother in true pain, and jeez was it terrifying to be the cause of it.

Blake:"We should let him rest for now, he won't be getting up from that for a while." You nod as you place down his sleeping bag on the ground before picking up your passed out brother and look at him

You(In Mind):"I hope you never have to go through anything like that again..." You sigh before placing him down gently on the sleeping bag. He looks so drained... You sit there, looking at him, your mind going all over the place. The rest of the team seems concerned for you.

Yang:"Are...you gonna be okay?"

Weiss:"Yeah that was...intense to say the least." You sigh before slowly getting up

You:"I'll be fine, probably won't be able to sleep tonight though." You all sigh as Yang speaks out

Yang:"I can't believe we didn't find anything."

Blake:"We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. I guess we can't always have luck on our side."

Weiss:"That's not what I meant." You all look at Weiss curiously?

Blake:"Huh?"

Weiss:"Earlier, about, upholding the legacy. There's more to it then that."

Yang:"Yeah, no me too. I mean...I don't know."

Blake:"I don't know either. I know what I want to do but, I figured I'd always take things one step at a time."

You:"Well I guess none of us really know. I was so obsessed with getting back at the person who terrorized my life....I guess I never really thought past that."

Yang:"Well, it doesn't matter, we know why we're here."

Oobleck:"Ah wonderful!" Oobleck yells from the entrance. he zooms over "A textbook campfire." You glance over in the center of the room, when did that campfire get there!? Ruby walks in and seemingly not seeing Jack as she sees the fire first.

Ruby: gasps "Fire!" Ruby runs over to the fire and falls to her knees close to the fire "Sssssoooo....wwwaaarrrmmm." Zwei runs past the fire and goes next to Jack, barking lightly at him. "Jack!?" Ruby pushes you out of the way unexpectedly, as she hovers over Jack. "What happened!?"

You:"He'll be fine, we needed to take care of the wound he had...so uh..we cauterized it." Ruby sighs regretfully

Ruby(Solemnly):"That's terrible. I should've been here for him..."Ruby runs her fingers through Jack's hair.

Oobleck:"Cauterizing a wound could be VERY dangerous to the patient, do exercise caution when preforming risky procedures and notify me before doing so in the future." He walks over to Jack and inspects his wound

You:"Well here's hoping we won't need to in the future." Oobleck places a finger to his chin as he thinks to himself 

Oobleck:"You made a good choice however in controlling the wound's seemingly worsening condition."

You:"Well, will he be able to continue our mission?"

Oobleck:"Well, as long as Jack is up and feels able to preform tomorrow then I think he'll be just fine. Now then, eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow and we'll need you to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode, any volunteers for first watch." Ruby raises her hand while still hovering over Jack 

Ruby:"Yo." Ruby gets up while still glancing at Jack worryingly and begins to head out to take watch, you turn to her and say

You:"Hey, hold up, you already established the perimeter earlier, let me take the first watch, you deserve some rest."

Ruby:"That's sweet (F) but I feel fine."

You:"Yeah but I insist, and besides, then you can watch over Jack to see if he's doing alright." Ruby thinks it over for a bit.

Ruby:"Well if you want to have the first watch then alright." She lays out her sleeping bag right next to Jack and lays beside him, holding his hand. You turn and begin to head outside. Though part of your offer was actually because you wanted Jack to feel at ease when he woke up. You actually volunteered for first watch so you could clear your mind a little away from the team, and also to keep an eye out for any sign of that one girl you saw. You sit down and unsheathe your Kitsune and place it on your lap as you begin to look out into the distant buildings and rubble, you can see a few Grimm here and there surrounding some of the destroyed buildings and not much else. You look down at your self as you start to realize...

You:"Where the hell did my other clothes go?"

(Meanwhile at the ((Lastname))'s Residence)

Stella:"Huh, I wonder how the boys are doing?" She says while sitting on a couch and drinking coffee while 'watching' TV. She sighs" I miss my eyesight..." All of a sudden a bright white light flashes across the room which Stella obviously didn't see. Then all of a sudden your clothes pop up right on Stella's legs unexpectedly "JESUS CHRIST ON TOAST!" She says while jumping up in shock and falling off of the couch. 

(2 hours and a half later/Your POV)

GOD VOLUNTEERING FOR FIRST WATCH WAS A MISTAKE! You are VERY much struggling to keep your eyes open. You rub your eyes and open them widely trying to keep yourself awake but it only is making you more tired. You sigh, perhaps you should wake up one of the girls to take over for night watch. Even though your turn shoulda ended like an hour ago. You begin to get up right before your Ring glows for a split second and burn your skin.

You:"Ow! Why does this stupid Ring always hurt me!?" You look at your Ring and turn around to see the girl in white, in the building across from you all. She seems to be just looking out into the buildings away from you all, sitting down with her legs hanging from the edge. Doesn't seem like she's noticed you all. You look back at the team as no one seems to be awake. You quickly jump out from the building and burst your way over to the rooftop of the other building as you see now that the girl is actually, quite smaller than you, you'd say she's a little less than 5 feet tall and seems really skinny. So she's definitely not Neo, and it doesn't seem like she's White Fang either...possibly one of Torchwick's? You walk behind her somewhat sneakily. 

You begin to unsheathe your Kitsune but the sound of the blade coming out of the sheathe alerts her as she quickly back flips and drives her foot behind her and knocks you onto the ground before she calls forth two REALLY weird looking swords (Oblivion & Oathkeeper ((Kingdom Hearts)) ). You try to get up but she places her foot on you and places the swords next to your neck. You feel your Ring glow as her weapons begin to glow as well.

?:"Who are you!?" She yells as her outfit changes slightly with black fire like markings appearing throughout the jacket. Wait hold up, that voice sounds REALLY familiar.

You:"Wait...Sophie?" She stops and instantly realizes and let's go of her blades as the black blade is covered in a black mist with sparks of lightning before dissipating and the white blade is coated in light before dissipating.

Sophie:"Wait, hold up...(F)!?" She takes her foot off of you as you get up. She takes off her hood as she looks up at you. The black markings on her jacket vanish. (Age:14, Height 4'10, Hair: Long dark red hair, Eyes: violet-blue, Skin: Pale, Weapon names: Lux(White Blade) and Nox(Black Blade), Clothes: White zipped up Jacket with odd black fire markings that seem to appear and disappear with a light pink shirt underneath and wearing dark blue jeans that are slightly baggy due to her skinniness .)

You:"What're you doing out here!?"

Sophie:"I could ask you the same thing!!!"

You:"Nuh-uh-uh young lady! I'm here on a mission, why are you out here, ALONE and what's up with those weird blade things you were using?"

Sophie:"Well if you MUST know my blades were telling me to go here!"

You:"Uh...what?" Sophie sighs

Sophie:"Okay long story, around like 6 months ago I was out doin' some stuff up near Haven. Up until I started hearing voices in my head, two VERY distinct ones, they seemed to judge everything I do every day, it was rather annoying, one always constantly wanting me to do some cruel thing and the other always wanting to do the right thing. So I tried my best to ignore it but they kept calling me to this one weird place in the desert outside of Menagerie. Which was the most irritating thing considering how far away I was. So I decided to scrounge up money and go there to see what all the fuss was about and there I found a massive temple seemingly dedicated to the Gods of Creation and Destruction. As I went further in there were talks of some weird things called Great Ones who were essentially trying to imitate the Gods by implementing their own life energy and power into items and there were failures called the Forgotten and yada yada yada."

You:"Sooo, where do the blades come in?"

Sophie:"I WAS GETTING TO THAT!" You remember how much she's like you, probably cuz you're pratically her older brother. You're a bad influence... "Anyways, skipping the unnecessary dialogue that the readers will skip by either way."

You:"Wat?"

Sophie:"Hmm? Oh, Nothing. Well I found the two blades embedded into the ground. And they were ESTATIC, they were SOOOO loud yelling to pick one of them, so I got fed up with their noise and just decided to grab both at the same time. WHICH was ACTUALLY the correct choice as if I had only choose one I'd either by consumed by darkness and die or be engulfed by blinding light...and die. So I'm now stuck with these and now both of their voices actually kinda merged into one and it's kinda freakin' me out."

You:"So what's with the whole jacket get up changing colors?"

Sophie:"Cuz they're brand new!" You look at her seriously "You're no fun. They came with it. Freakin' two for one special so I have to keep this on me or my body can't handle the power of the Blades...so does that answer your questions?"

You:"But...you never answered the original question of why they look so weird...you just told the story of how you got them..."

Sophie:"Oh that's simple, cuz the author's lazy and he likes Kingdom Hea-." She gets distracted by A RATHER CONVENIENT BUTTERFLY THAT JUST SO HAPPENED TO ENTER THE AREA!!!!!!!!('CAUSE SHE CAN'T KEEP HER MOUTH SHUT)!!!! "Ooooh, look at that! A rather convenient butterfly!!! I'ma call you Roxas!" She says smugly. (DAMN IT!)

You:"What are you talking abou-" You both hear the sound of your team crying out both your name and Ruby's name. You both look down to see they've ran out of the building searching for you...though where's Ruby?

Sophie:"Uh, maybe you should go do somethin' about that."

You:"You're coming with me too."

Sophie:"Ew, gross, social interaction. No." You grab her by the hood and pick her up "CURSE YOU 80 POUND BODY OF MINE!" 

You:"You'll be fine." You sigh

Sophie:"THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK! PEOPLE ARE ANNOYING!" This'll be an interesting talk with the team. You jump off the roof with your annoyed lil' sis in your arms.
