''This way Theo, it's the rogues. They are coming from all sides. Charles is on his way to Eclipse pack he's bringing Ashton with him, '' Noah says as we all run towards the borders. ''I could've mind linked Ashton goddammit!'' Theo curses. ''Where is the female guard Noah?'' I question, ''Hazel's rounding them up, we'll meet them at the borders.''

As soon as we get there I see our guards all standing in position waiting for Theo to command them. ''They're almost here sir, ''one of them says and Theo nods.

''Okay everybody, we break into three groups, I will take some men to the west we will take care of that side with Ashton. Noah you can go towards the East with some guards help Benjamin and Sean there and Athena, take the female guard and Charles with you upfront and give them hell love,'' Theo says and I smirk at him.

''And where do I go Alpha?'' says a smooth voice behind us and we all turn to look at Sebastian who just joined. He smiles at me flirtatiously and I roll my eyes at him. ''You can go with Noah towards the West, try luring the rogues over to you. We can capture a few for questioning but kill the rest,'' Theo orders and we all get into position.

Hazel comes up to stand on my left side with the rest of the female guard behind us and Charles on my right.

''You're going to fight in human form?'' she asks and I nod pensively, ''can't risk exposure,'' I say slowly as we spy a cloud of dust forming in a distance. ''They're almost here!'' I shout and we all get into position. Charles and I nod at each other in understanding and run forward ready to attack.

Our main aim is to not let even one rogue pass the border.

We meet them halfway and immediately attack, the stench is too strong and I have to gag. Some of them were too weak and we managed to put them down easily but others were strong. Particularly this one rogue who was heading towards Hazel

Before I could call her I got attacked and fell to the ground hard as a pair of canines flashed over me, too close to my neck. ''Athena!'' I heard Charles shout. '' I got it, you take care on your side!'' I called back as I attempted to kick the rogue off but damn was he strong. I gathered my strength and kicked him again. This time I managed to get him to loosen his grip on me.

I got on my feet and punched him in the gut as he kicked me in the shin. Damn, this guy is good. I punched him one more time as I heard a crack. Oh shit, he's turning. I put down a few other wolves that were coming my way. I make eye contact with Hazel who seems to be in some kind of war dance, she was leaping and jumping from one rogue to another snapping their necks when I hear a warning growl. ''That doesn't sound good,'' I muse as I turn to look at the rogue who is now a dirty blond wolf with saliva dripping off his canines.

''Well come at me then! What are you waiting for!'' I shout and he launches himself. I call on my wolf and from the borrowed strength grab him by the neck and throw him to the ground. I hear a whimper and a sadistic smile appears on my face as I grab him by the tail and throw him against a tree, I march up to him as I lift him with both my hands, raised my thigh and snapped his spine as a satisfying crunch echoes the forest.

I toss him aside and I'm about to re-join the battle when I see a rogue sneaking up to Hazel from behind. I try to shout and call her but she is too far away and there is chaos all around me, Charles' light brown wolf is busy decapitating rogues, I start running towards her when a rogue comes my way, my hand immediately goes through her chest as I rip out her heart. 

The  other rouge has his eyes set on Hazel and I try to shout once again but she can't hear me, he is now gaining on her and I do the only thing I could think of at that moment. 

I call my wolf forward and fully transform. She shakes her fur in excitement of finally being able to join the fight. The adrenaline and power surges through me as I leap in the air and make a run for the rogue.

He is about to pounce on her when a loud earth shattering roar makes its way out of my wolf causing the rogue to stop and look at me. I snarl at him as he now makes his way towards me;clearly sensing the power.

He swipes his paw at me but I block it and scratch his face with my claws. He whimpers from the pain but regains as he pounces on me and pushes me to the ground. Well that bruised my wolf's ego and she snarls at him as she bites his front leg and crushes the bone.

The rogue wolf yelps and limps away from me but my wolf and I are not done yet. She runs to him and pushes him on the ground as climbs on top of him and starts clawing at his face. The rogue yelps in pain as my wolf completely destroys him oblivious to the audience we now have.

As soon as the rogue wolf breathes his last I jump off him and stand tall when my eyes connect with Charles' who is now in human form, his eyes wide in shock. I look around and see people staring when I hear a rustling sound and see Noah, Sebastian and the rest of the group including Sean and Benjamin all walking out from the trees as they eye me. I look at Charles again giving him a pleading look. ]

Damn it where is Theo, I really want him by my side at the moment.

''She is an alpha female, '' Benjamin whispers the obvious and the murmurs start erupting. Hazel comes to stand by me with a t-shirt in her hand. 

''Well would you look at that! My father will love this!'' says the annoying voice that could only belong to one person, Caleb.

''You wouldn't dare do that Caleb!'' Charles warns but he just laughs, ''oh trust me I will, this will be good. You're going to pay for everything you did to me Athena, '' he says in an evil tone when another earth shattering roar is heard from the west side of the pack and I see Caleb and the other pack members shudder. A huge black wolf appears from the trees to come stand next to mine. Charles immediately walks up and joins us with a pair of pants in his hands.

''Go behind the tree and change love; I'm here now,'' Theo's voice resonates. I trot behind a huge tree as Hazel follows me and I change back to my human form. I wear the t-shirt she hands me and walk back to stand next to Theo who is in his human form too.

''Theo explain this, '' Benjamin speaks up first and points at me, ''Your mate is an alpha female. Do you know what this means?'' Ashton asks as he, Olivia and Mila walk forward. Olivia is a mess, her hair is all tousled, her cheeks bruised and she's covered in blood which I'm assuming is not hers. I bet I look worse.

''I'm aware of this my friends and I did want to tell you all but under different circumstances.I understand most of you see her as a threat but she is not. Athena is my mate and the love of my life and If any one and I mean any one, '' he emphasizes while looking at Caleb pointedly, ''if anyone tries to even harm her I will see to it personally to erase you from existence. Is that clear?'' his voice booms and the pack members shudder in fear but nod and proceed to leave to go back to their homes.

Theo, Charles, Ashton, Olivia, Mila, Benjamin, Sean and I are the only ones left in the field. I see Charles and Mila eyeing each other. Mila grabs Olivia's arm in support as she almost falls and I hear Charles growl as he utters the one word I've been waiting for him to say, ''Mate!'' he almost yells and walks forward to Mila, she regains her posture and walks forward too. I eye them both as they come to a stop;facing each other. They are about to kiss when Olivia clears her throat. I suppress my laugh when they both look around uncomfortably.

''So umm if we are done with you two, can we all please address the elephant in the room,'' Benjamin says metaphorically. ''Yes, but why don't we all return to our packs first freshen up and then you can all come for dinner at our pack house, we will explain everything to you. I assure you all Athena poses no danger to any of us, unless she is provoked of course, '' Theo says as he tries to lighten the mood.

They all nod solemnly and walk towards their respective packs, while we go to ours. ''So uhhh, excuse me. Sorry I didn't get your name?'' Charles asks Mila and this time I couldn't hold it in and laugh out loud. Charles glares at me and I purse my lips to keep it in. ''Mila. I 'm Mila,'' she smiles shyly. ''I'm Charles, so um will you come for dinner tonight at our pack house?'' he asks nervously and she nods shyly as Olivia pulls her away.

''ahhhhh Charles you found your mate!'' I scream as I hug him in excitement and he laughs unenthusiastically. ''Hey why so glum, are not happy you found her?'' I ask in a whisper. ''No no Athena, I'm beyond happy but the circumstances under which I met her are not.''

''You got exposed; we still don't know how the other Alphas will react to this. We have been living in peace among the four packs for a long time, what if one of them refuses to co-operate huh, what then? Let's not forget your brother Ethan, what happens when he finds out? Have you thought of all that? We have bigger problems at hand Athena. So I'm sorry if I'm not throwing a party in celebration of finding my mate,'' he replies in anger.

I immediately stop walking as reality sets in. Oh my goddess Ethan!! How will I face him, what will I say to him? Gosh he will be so mad. ''We have to call Ethan for this dinner Theo, it's time for him to know,'' I say softly and he nods.

When we get to the house, I immediately rush to shower to get the dirt, grime and blood off me; I change in to a pair of black skinny jeans and a royal blue sweater and put on a pair of brown boots. Once Theo is dressed we go to the living room and wait for a while since it's early.

''I'll leave,'' I announce and he turns to look at me, ''leave what love? '' he asks.

''If they can't accept me, I will leave. I don't want you to spoil your relationships with the other packs for me, Charles is right,'' I conclude and Theo shakes his head.

''You're not going anywhere Athena; I won't let you. They will have to accept you; I'm not giving them any other option.''

''You can't rob people of their opinions Theo and I love you so much that I can't let you ruin your life and your pack for me,'' I state.

''You are my life Athena; I will walk through hell fire for you. If you're leaving, so am I. Charles can take care of the pack. Wherever you go I will follow love,'' he replies and I feel tears build up in my eyes as I break down.

''I'm scared Theo, I'm scared of Ethan's reaction more than anything,'' I admit and he kisses my temple. ''I know love, it's okay to be scared but you have to face his him  and his wrath however strong it is. You can do it love, '' he assures me when we hear a soft knock on the door. Who could that be, I thought everyone was meeting at the pack house.

Theo opens the door to reveal Mom, dad and Ethan standing on the other side. ''Oh my baby you're safe'' mom cries and hugs me. I see dad hugging Theo and Ethan bro hugs him. ''Glad you're both safe kids, Victoria almost dragged me here when we heard about the fight.''

 ''Why didn't you guys tell me; I would have come with reinforcements?'' Ethan questions. ''You were the only ones not attacked since you guys are behind, they came from the highway side, we handled it well with the help of the other 2 packs,'' Theo replies.

''Okay cool, but the next time there is fight I want in. My wolf would love to spill some rogue blood,'' he jokes and we all smile at his enthusiasm. ''So why have we been called here? Ashton said you two wanted to discuss something important with all the alphas?'' he questions as Theo and I nod.

''Let's all head to the pack house, we shall discuss further there,'' Theo says and ushers everyone out. We all silently walk to the pack house, Mom and dad exchanging confused looks. Once we reach the dining hall I take my seat on the Luna chair and Theo sits next to mine in his. 

Soon everyone comes in. Last ones to arrive are Ashton, Olivia and Mila. Charles' face immediately lights up as she takes a sit on one of the tables. I smile knowingly and I'm about to say something sarcastic when Theo clears his throat and gets up.

''We are gathered here today to explain to you all of the revelation that happened a few hours ago,'' he announces. Ethan and my parents exchange confused glances when Theo continues, ''Since the Crimson pack was not present during the fight, we will update you.''

He extends his hand for me to take and I stand up, I latch on to his arm for support and he rubs smooth circles on my back to calm me down. I look at dad and mom and say, ''everyone here knows, except Ethan, '' and they stare at me wide eyed.

 ''Athena no!! how? We thought you were careful honey, how could you let this happen?! '' Mom yells and I look down in shame, '' I'm sorry; I didn't have a choice. My friend would have died,'' I say as my voice breaks. '' Princess look at me, '' dad urges and I look up. ''What's done is done, we must find a way to protect you from the council now,'' he says and mom nods her head in agreement.

''Can someone tell me what the heck is going on here!!!'' Ethan shouts and we all turn to look at him. ''Ena, you tell me what's going on right now,'' he demands. ''Ethan...I...I... I don't know how to phrase this, you will get mad at me and I want to tell you that I'm so so so sorry for this and for the past eight years,'' I say.

''Ena, you're stalling. What is going on?'' he demands again.

''Oh to hell with it! Your sister here is an alpha female, Ethan!'' Benjamin announces and everyone pins their eyes on Ethan waiting for him to react.

''WHAT!!!!! That's not possible, they don't exist; at least not for the past 200yrs or so,it can't be!'' he exclaims. ''No it can't be, that is not true, tell me it's a lie Ena.''

''I'm afraid it's not Ethan. It is the truth, '' I whisper lowly and his jaw drops.

''That's why we are gathered here Ethan, we need to protect Athena from the council. Now that the secret is out it won't be long until they come for her. Athena is not a threat to any of us, so I'm requesting for your support. She is my mate, my love, my life and I cannot afford to lose her, '' Theo states calmly.

I gather my courage and speak up, ''I promise you all that I will do no harm to anyone. I didn't ask for this. It's the very reason I ran away 8 years ago. I don't want to usurp anyone's position not Theo's or not even you all. I just want to be accepted, '' I speak lowly as a lone tear rolls down my cheek.

''I will stand by you Athena, you have my support,'' Olivia is the first one to speak up, ''besides I don't want to lose my drinking buddy,'' she chuckles and I run down to hug her. '' Thank you,'' I whisper. Automatically Ashton agrees. Sean agrees too but his father is hesitant however he manages to convince him and Benjamin gives in.

I look at Ethan, since he is the only one left. ''Ethan,'' I call and his eyes snap up to look at me.

''Stay.Away.From.Me,'' he says with venom in his voice and leaves the dining hall.
