After finding the Crow's Stone at the Island of the Red Mirror, Captain Selkie charted the course for Musutafu. As they sailed in the dead of night, Selkie reflected on the journey ahead.

Selkie: Sky's clear. Should make the journey much easier!

But as he said that, mist began to surround Selkie. 

Selkie: Mist? What the hell......

But as Selkie said that, out of the mist came the Blacktongue Skiav. But before he could react, Skiav thrusts a dagger in Selkie's chest. The Blacktongue covered his mouth to keep him from calling for help.

Skiav: Rest now Captain Selkie. Embrace the abyss!

Skiav pulls the dagger out of Selkie's chest as he falls to the ground dead. As Skiav prepares to teleport out of the ship, he hears footsteps making it's way to the bridge. Skiav vanishes as Tsuyu enters the bridge. 

Tsuyu: Captain Selkie? I heard a noise, is something.......

But before Tsuyu could ask her question, she saw Selkies dead body. Horrified, she prepares to scream when Skiav appears behind her and covers her mouth while holding the dagger to her neck. 

Skiav: Make a sound and you will join Captain Selkie in death.

Tsuyu was crippled in fear as the blade slowly caressed her throat. The danger she felt was without description. The Blacktongue's calm and soothing voice brought nothing but terror to Tsuyu. Skiav then lets out a menacing laugh.

Skiav: You are Fumikage Tokoyami's beloved little inn keeper. I only came her to ensure your journey's end, but I see an....opportunity........

As Skiav let out a wicked laugh, he teleports himself and Tsuyu to Musutafu and into the palace of Lord Menos.

Menos: Skiav? What's the meaning of this?

Skiav: Tokoyami has found the Crow's Stone and they sail for Musutafu as we speak. 

Hearing the brought great concern to the lord. 

Menos: What?! I thought you would be able to take care of it?!

Skiav: I traveled to their ship and slaughtered their captain. But knowing Tokoyami, he'll more than likely overcome this. But we have......leverage......

Skiav then brings the frightened Tsuyu before Lord Menos. 

Menos: Who is this? 

Skiav: Tsuyu Asui. She has been travelling with Tokoyami for quite some time. They have grown.....close shall we say. 

Menos walked towards the frightened Tsuyu. He looks upon her with a wicked smile as he turned to Skiav. 

Menos: Take her to the cells. Do what you want with her. I'll prepare our ground forces. 

Skiav and Menos then prepared their ground forces. Meanwhile at the ship, Sirius enters the room and sees Captain Selkie's body. She lets out a terrified scream as she gathers Tokoyami and the others to the room.

Kaminari: Captain......what happened?!

Stain: Blacktongues! Only they would do something like this!

But as everyone was stunned by Selkie's murder, Tokoyami notices that Tsuyu is nowhere to be seen. Tokoyami then rushes to her quarters and see that it's empty. He then puts together that whoever killed Captain Selkie kidnapped Tsuyu.

Tokoyami: They took Tsuyu! 

Shoji: What?! But how?! 

Hawks: The Blacktongues find ways Mezo Shoji. 

Aizawa: But now we're stranded. 

Kaminari: Maybe not.....

Kaminari then walked to the strange contraption that Selkie used to pilot the ship. Everyone was confused as Kaminari began working on it.

Jiro: What are you doing Denki?

Kaminari: Captain Selkie was training me to operate the Oki Mariner. Now let's see what we can do......

As Kaminari operated the Oki Mariner, he was able to get it operation much to the everyone's delight. 

Jiro: You did it Denki!

Kaminari: Thank Captain Selkie......now let's prepare the funeral. 

Moments later, Tokoyami and the rest of his allies meet at the deck of the Oki Mariner where Kaminari and Selkie loaded the body of Selkie into a rowboat. Kaminari began to speak of Captain Selkie.

Kaminari: Captain Selkie was a captain of unmatched character and skill. We were all like his children and he was like our father. He led us through countless voyages and adventure with a smile on his face. To die like this is horrible. Rest easy Captain. May your final voyage grant you peace.

Kaminari and Sirius lowered the rowboat and sent it drifting into the ocean. As the rowboat drifted away, Kaminari took his musket and aimed it at the rowboat. He fired and hit the lantern on the boat, setting it on fire. After the funeral, everyone prepared to head back inside, Shoji notices Tokoyami staying on the deck.

Shoji: Tokoyami.......what happened to Captain Selkie and Tsuyu wasn't your fault. We'll find Tsuyu and get her back! 

Tokoyami: I'll head back in a moment. I just need to be alone. 

Shoji respected his friend's wishes as he left Tokoyami alone in the deck. As he was thinking, rage and guilt engulfed Tokoyami as he made a vow.

Tokoyami: Now hear me Blacktongues! You fear me?! Good! I will render the very Earth asunder and rip the stars from the sky to undo what you've done! There is no truth but this, I will find her and save her! I will avenge all the injustices you've inflicted! So send your assassins and your abominations! Go and marshal every Blacktongue on this Earth and send them against me! They will not stop me! They will not change my course a single inch! I promise you that your days are numbered! 

As Tokoyami made his vow, he found in himself a new resolve to complete his long journey and destroy the Blacktongues and redeem himself. But he also vowed to save his beloved Tsuyu no matter the cost.
