On board the Oki Mariner, the ship makes it's way to Musutafu at night time. Kaminari takes out a pair of spyglasses and takes a look at the docks to see Blacktongues all around the docks. After surveying the area, Kaminari gathers Tokoyami and everyone else to the deck.

Tokoyami: What are we looking at? 

Kaminari: This place is crawling with Blacktongues!

Shoji: Looks like Menos was expecting us!

Hawks: I sense a great evil from this place.

Stain: It does not matter! We will cleanse this place of their filth! 

Aizawa: Easy there Stain. None of that won't matter if we get killed. We need to play it smart. What's the plan Tokoyami?

Tokoyami: Kaminari. You're going to keep the ship for from the docks. We can't allow the Blacktongues to take the ship. 

Kaminari: You got it!

Jiro: What about me?

Tokoyami: You and Hatsume stay behind. If we fail, then you will go with Kaminari to seek refuge in the Red Mirror. The rest of you will follow me. Once we reach shore, we'll split up. Shoji and Stain will traverse the eastern plains. Those with me, we make for the docks. We'll regroup at the palace.

Everyone nodded in agreement as they boarded separate rowboats for their destinations. Before they did so, Tokoyami parted some inspiring words.

Tokoyami: Let fury burn your heart to ash! Kill any who stand between us and Tsuyu! (Tsu.....I'm coming for you!)

At the docks, a group of Blacktongues wait to ambush Tokoyami. As they wait, they see figures making their way towards them.

Blacktongue Leader: Who's this sneaking around the dark?

Blacktongue: The Dark Shadow's friends!

Blacktongue: Where is the one they call Fumikage Tokoyami?

Tokoyami: Where is he? He is home!

Blacktongue Leader: Blacktongues! We do not fear this interloper! We'll rip the Crow's Stone from your corpse and use it to resurrect our master!

Hawks: Your evil will be defeated.

Blacktongue Leader: Kill them all!

Tokoyami and Aizawa unsheathed their swords and begin attacking the Blacktongues while Hawks uses his magic to attack them. They soon began to fight their way to the palace as Shoji and Stain do the same. After cutting through the Blacktongues, they meet up at the palace.

Shoji: We're here! Blacktongues have the whole island under their control. Luckily for us, they didn't prove to be much trouble! Menos has much to answer for!

Stain: We were able to cut them down without delay. 

Tokoyami: We need to hold this ground. We can't afford to let the Blacktongues strike us from behind once we're inside. 

Aizawa: I'll stay behind. My fighting style will do no good in cramped quarters. 

Hawks: I'll keep the Ranger company. The night is young and the Blacktongues are many. 

Tokoyami: If they come, hold them off as long as you can. Good luck.

Tokoyami led Shoji and Stain inside the palace as Aizawa and Hawks stayed behind. The blind ranger could hear the fast footsteps of the Blacktongues charging at them. 

Aizawa: I am the calm death of blind justice!

Aizawa began attacking the Blacktongues with his sword as Hawks uses his magic to create a laser beam to attack. Once inside the palace, Tokoyami, Shoji and Stain seal up the entrance. They notice that it's quiet inside.

Stain: No one to welcome us? I smell a trap!

Tokoyami: Menos knows we're here. The Throne Room is all that matters. 

Tokoyami and the others begin making their way to the throne room when Blacktongues arrive to ambush them. They fought long and hard through the hordes of Blacktongues. Eventually, they make it to the passageway that leads to the Throne Room. 

Stain: You can't have all the glory! We'll take it from here! 

Tokoyami: Fight well. Shoji......don't die.

Shoji: Don't worry old friend! I don't intend to die by Blacktongues!

Tokoyami rushes to the passageway as Shoji barricades the door. The Blacktongues begin to surround the two warriors. Stain relishes in the fight ahead.

Stain: COME YOU FIENDISH LEGIONS! COME YOU BLACK HOST! AND THROW YOURSELVES AGAINST THE UNYIELDING AND RIGHTEOUS SWORD OF JUSTICE!

Shoji: Just let me know when you're finished! 

Stain: I'm done. 

Shoji and Stain get back to back while attacking the charging Blacktongues while buying Tokoyami time. In the passageway, Tokoyami sees Skiav in the center blocking his way. 

Skiav: Fumikage Tokoyami. I have been waiting for you. 

Tokoyami: I've been waiting too long to destroy your kind!

Skiav chuckles as he disappears in a mist. He teleports behind Tokoyami and attacks with his dagger, but Tokoyami deflects it.

Skiav: Smoke and shadows, ghosts in the wind.

Tokoyami: Play your tricks assassin! You'll bleed soon enough!

Tokoyami attacks, but Skiav disappears in the same mist.

Skiav: Do you think I do not know you? I know everything there is to know! I saw you fight Stain and Muscular in the Dragon's Arena. I saw you traverse through the Lost Forest and back. I saw the Black Riders and Monoma fall before you.

Tokoyami continues to watch his back as Skiav continues taunting him.

Skiav: I was there when old Captain Selkie met his end.....with hardly any struggle at all. I was there when your beloved Inn Keeper was spoken. 

Suddenly, Tokoyami finds Skiav behind him with the dagger at his throat.

Skiav: I was there at the beginning of your journey. And I will be there at it's end. 

Tokoyami: Then you owe a life for the one you took from Selkie!

Tokoyami then lands a slash at Skiav's chest, but only causes him pain.

Skiav: Fool! Do you think this will stop from what has already begun! We will raise our master from the dead and sweep across this realm like a purging fire! Every one who resists will be put to the sword! No matter what you do, the future is ours!

Tokoyami: Not if I have anything to say about it, Blacktongue!

Skiav disappears yet again. As Tokoyami hears whispers, he closes his eyes and thrusts his sword behind him, landing a fatal blow on Skiav.

Tokoyami: You may have taken my family, but you will not take Tsuyu!

Tokoyami pulls the sword out of Skiav as he dies. 

Tokoyami: Menos......you're next! 

As he says that, Tokoyami makes his way to the Throne Room to confront Menos and punish him for his crimes.
