In the land of Musutafu, Tsuyu Asui works at an Inn where may people come to stay the night. From knights to heroes to rogues and other sorts of characters have visited this Inn. Her live was normal and she would always hear the tales of adventure from the people who visited the Inn, but she never thought that she would ever find herself on an adventure. But all this would change forever when two hooded figures enter the Inn. She walks over to these figures and greets them. 

Tsuyu: Welcome to the Inn of the Highway Star! I'm Tsuyu Asui! What can I do for you?

Multi-Armed Figure: What rooms do you have available?

Tsuyu: We have a room for two.

Multi-Armed Figure: That will do perfectly. 

The Multi-Armed figure hands Tsuyu a bag of gold coins. She is curious about these visitors.

Tsuyu: May I ask your names? It's so I can put them on the ledger!

The two figures looked at each other. The hooded figure who seemed to have the head of a Raven simply nods at the Multi-Armed figure. 

Multi-Armed Figure: My name is Lykas. This is Strider.

The young Inn worker is intrigued at Lykas and Strider. They were nothing like the usual guests that the Inn usually received. They usually received a rowdy crowd that would drink and go around telling stories of adventure, but these two were different. 

Tsuyu: Thank you! Is there anything I could do for you?

Lykas: Could we get some mead? We could use a drink.

Tsuyu: Of course!

Tsuyu then heads to the bar of the Inn and grabs two mugs and fills them both of mead. After doing so, she returns to the two figures who were now sitting at a table and hands them their drinks.

Lykas: Thank you. That will be all for now.

Tsuyu then continues going about her day, serving more visitors. But as she does so, she's still curious about Lykas and Strider. There was more to these two men then they let on. While the other guests here were normally rowdy and boasting of their tales, Lykas and Strider maintained a normal conversation, only occasionally asking for a refill. Eventually, the two left for their room as the sun begins to set. When most of the guests make for their rooms, she spots a small group of armed knights exiting a carriage. The leader of the group enters the Inn

Tsuyu Asui: Welcome to the Inn of the Highway Star! I'm Tsuyu Asui! What can I do you?

Knight Leader: We're looking for two criminals. Have you seen any of these men?

The Knight Leader then shows Tsuyu wanted posters. The first poster showed a man with the head of a Raven and the second poster showed a man with gray hair and a face mask. She recognized these men as Strider and Lykas. Tsuyu then decides to ask the Knight about them.

Tsuyu: Who are these men?

Knight Leader: Fumikage Tokoyami and Mezo Shoji. Both are wanted for murder. There's a handsome reward for any who points us the way to these criminals.

Tsuyu felt suspicious of the Knight. She couldn't tell what, but something about this seemed off. 

Tsuyu: I'm sorry. I haven't seen either of these men.

Knight Leader: May I see your ledger?

Tsuyu: Is my word not enough? I told you that these men were not here!

Knight Leader: Just give me the damn ledger!

Not wanting to start any trouble, Tsuyu has no choice but to hand the Knight Leader the ledger that listed all the visitors of the Inn. As the Knight looked through the ledger, her mind races at what is happening. The two strangers did not seem to be murders, yet this Knight was saying exactly that. This situation greatly concerned her. 

Knight Leader: Lykas.......Strider......interesting. 

Tsuyu: Are you finished?

Knight Leader: Mind your place, wench! I'll have my men set up here.

Tsuyu: On who's authority?!

Knight Leader: The authority of the King! Do you have any authority to question the will of the King?

Tsuyu had no response to that. For a brief moment, she felt fear. 

Knight Leader: As I said, I'll have my men set up here. Will that be a problem? 

Tsuyu: No.

Knight Leader: Good. Then prepare a feast for my men. It's been a long journey.

Tsuyu went to the cook and told him to prepare a feast for the knights. She saw the Knight Leader exit to speak with a stranger. The figure was a pale looking man with strange tattoos. This stranger was unlike anyone Tsuyu's ever seen. She's seen plenty of strange folk coming in and out of the Inn, but this stranger was something different. She felt uneasiness as she set eyes on the figure. When she blinked, the stranger was gone. As she served the food and mead to the Knights, she looked at the window which appeared to be where Lykas and Stider were staying and saw that the covers were blocking her view. 

Knight: HEY WENCH! BRING ME MORE MEAD!

Tsuyu did exactly that. Once she hands him the cup of mead, the knight snatched the cup and began to gulp it down. She notices a group of knights conversing at a table near the entrance of the rooms. She listens in on the conversation. 

Knight #1: So Tokoyami and Shoji are here? 

Knight #2: It would appear so. Or technically "Strider" and "Lykas".

Knight #3: Ha! Did they really think they could escape justice?! 

Knight #2: How about we kill them and get it over with?!

Knight #1: Not yet. Not until we get the order. 

Tsuyu senses something bad about to happen as she moves in to the room where Tokoyami and Shoji were staying with the knights following her.
