#4||Hogwarts Express, Hello Kiku and Elizabeth!

A/N: I'm REALLY sorry for not writing a Diagon Alley chapter...well, to be honest, I got lazy in writing one. Let's just say nothing eventful happened there...I'm really sorry, so please don't kill me!

Also...we probably shouldn't mind their ages and just go with the flow. So if you're saying, "hey, why is nyo!Japan a third year even if America's older than her?" stuff, please ignore their ages. Yes, I'm adding the 2p!s and the nyo!s because I feel like it.

...

Alfred

...

Alfred was surprised that he was still sane.

First, they went to some place called Gringotts, which turned out to be a bank for wizards guarded by greedy goblins who would punish you severely if they caught you stealing.

"This is where you keep your wizard money, and stuff?" Alfred had asked.

Arthur nodded, glancing over Matthew, who was too mesmerized by the place to speak. Also, when they stopped in front of a vault (vault 708 to be exact), Arthur asked one of the goblins guarding it to open it and found some Galleons, Knuts, and Sickles inside. All of them were found in mountainous amounts, too.

"How did we get all this stuff..?" Alfred and Matthew asked in unison.

"I had them create a vault for you two. Oh, and the money is from me. Since I'm a gentleman, I decided to donate some of my money for you two," Arthur folded his arms across his chest. "But it's not like I wanted to do it for you, okay? Since I'm the only wizard you know, I might as well help you."

And then after that, they went to buy some school supplies, which...let's just say...was quite uneventful. Oh, but Matthew and Alfred both got owls, though. Alfred named his owl Batman (A/N: Arthur argued that it wasn't any close to a bat-I guess he never knew Batman), while Matthew named his owl Kumajirou.

"Why'd you give it such a funny name?" Alfred chuckled once Matthew named his owl.

"I think it's kind of great," Matthew scoffed.

And now here they were, at King's Cross, each of them pushing a cart that carried their Hogwarts trunk. Alfred noticed that Arthur was wearing a green-and-silver around his neck, despite the summer heat.

"Shouldn't you take that off?" Matthew asked in concern. "It's pretty hot here..."

Arthur chuckled. "Oh, don't worry about me. I have gotten pretty accustomed to the heat the past few years, thank you very much."

"You sure, bro?" Alfred asked. "Y'might get a heatstroke, y'know what I'm saying?"

Arthur sighed in exasperation and turned to glare at Alfred. "Will you please refrain from using that American accent? It's irksome."

"I'm American, what can ya do about it?" Alfred grinned. At that moment, Arthur heaved another sigh as he turned to look away from him. He hoped that Alfred did not see his cheeks flush red.

...

Arthur

...

Ugh, what's with that bloody grin? Arthur thought. It's infuriating, even by my standards.

Arthur suddenly stopped in front of a pillar and smiled.

"We're nearly in Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters," Arthur said.

Alfred and Matthew looked around in bewilderment.

"Are y-you sure, Arthur?" Matthew asked gently. "Maybe w-we...took a wrong turn...or something."

Arthur tried to hide a smile. These clueless first-years. Arthur gripped his cart tighter and directed it towards the pillar, walking at a steady pace.

"Follow me!" Arthur ran towards the pillar. Once he should've hit it, he felt a tingly sensation on his arms. Suddenly, the world shifted and changed. Arthur saw a train station full of Muggles, whereas now it was a train station full of wizards and witches like him.

A huge, scarlet train greeted him as he entered the wizarding world. Witches and wizards alike, pushed carts that carried Hogwarts trunks like his. Some of them had owls perched on their shoulders. Some carried toads, while some of them carried cats. Arthur recognized one of them as Heracles, a sixth-year Ravenclaw who would always sleep. He had a cat resting on his head, another on his left shoulder, and another on his back, clinging on to his neck.

"I thought you lost your damned mind," Alfred said somewhere behind him. Arthur turned to look at him and saw Alfred's owl Batman perched on Alfred's abnormally messy hair. Matthew followed behind him.

"H-Hey, wait up..." Matthew huffed as he pushed his trunk along.

...

Alfred

...

As they entered the train, Alfred could not decide where to look first.

Most of the people in the train were about his age - some were a lot older, some were a bit younger. Most of them wore a black wizard's robe that were the same as Arthur's, yet some of them had a red, blue, or yellow inside. Most of them wore scarves like Arthur.

Why am I comparing almost everything to Arthur?

Alfred tried to shake this feeling aside. He turned around to face Matthew, but he wasn't there. Not knowing where to sit, Alfred sat beside a boy with jet black hair, dull yet shining brown eyes, and a blunt expression. He whispered excitedly to a girl with somewhat caramel brown hair, a pink flower clipped to one side of her hair, and emerald green eyes next to him. They were both reading something and squealing violently.

"Oh, this one's my favorite part!" the girl said excitedly. "This is where they suddenly meet and then-"

"Don't spoil me on such details," the guy with black hair calmly told her. "I haven't read it yet!"

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry...hold on, where'd Mei go? She'd love to see this..."

"I'm pretty sure she's already read this before. And to answer your question, she's currently attempting to prank Im Young Soo and his brother Hyung in their apartments, four train sections away."

"Ah, shame..."

Alfred decided not to listen to their conversation, for he had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. He craned his neck a bit to take a peek at what they were reading. It appeared to be some kind of anime comic books Matthew sometimes adored. What were they called, again? Ah, yes. Manga.

"Fancy seeing you here, Kiku. You too, Elizabeth."

Elizabeth gave Arthur a small wave. Kiku looked up from the manga he was reading and smiled at Arthur. "Ah, Arthur-san. Very pleased to see you again." Alfred noticed that Kiku couldn't say the letter "L" fluently. Was he Japanese? He appeared to be so.

Arthur suddenly turned to look at Alfred and rolled his eyes before facing Kiku again. "The American behind you? That's my, uh, friend." Alfred noticed Arthur's cheeks glow a hint of pink. "Introduce yourself, Al. I don't tolerate rudeness."

Kiku and Elizabeth swept their heads to look at Alfred. Elizabeth looked back and forth between Alfred and Arthur, exchanging knowing looks with Kiku, and giggled softly.

Alfred stood up from his seat and raised a fist in the air.

"I'm Alfred F. freaking Jones, baby!" he shouted rambunctiously. "I'm a HERO! Ready to save anyone from the forces of Dark Magic!"

Everyone nearby suddenly took interest in Alfred, who grinned and winked at some people. Arthur sighed wearily before walking up to him and scolding him.

"Git, that's not how normal people would introduce themselves! Seriously Jones, you really are full of surprises..."

"That means I'm not boring or normal like you, then!"

"Ah, shut up!"

...

Elizabeth

...

"He looks interesting," Elizabeth, who was already thinking of new possibilities for Alfred and Arthur, said. "Don't you think, Kiku?"

Kiku nodded. Suddenly, a very familiar-looking albino with a cute yellow chick on his head squeezed himself between Kiku and her.

"Yo, Liza!" the albino, widely known as Gilbert, said. "What's this I hear about the new guy being interesting?"

"At least he looks better than you," Elizabeth snapped at him.

Gilbert looked at Alfred, who glared at him in return while reaching for his wand.

"You!" Alfred said. "You're the dude in the flying broomstick from before!"

Gilbert reached for his wand as well. "And you're the unawesome Mudblood!"

At Gilbert's words, everyone in the train section they were currently in gasped. "Stupe-" Gilbert started, but was cut off because Arthur brandished his wand, aimed it at Gilbert, and said, "LEVICORPUS!"

A small, silver beam of light shot out from the end of Arthur's wand and hit Gilbert, whose feet immediately shot up towards the ceiling and hanged himself there.

Elizabeth shot up from her seat and giggled as well. "Thank you, Arthur! He was starting to annoy me. It was only a matter of time before I summoned my frying pan and smacked him over the head!"

"Kesesese~this still doesn't change the fact that I'm awesome, even while hanging up this unawesome ceiling~" Gilbert, who was hanging upside and was rather stupid-looking, laughed.

"Oh, like what you did to Francis back then? Very nice," Arthur remarked.

Alfred had a confused look on his face. "Hang on, wasn't he the same guy from the marketplace?"

"Indeed, he was," Arthur said. Suddenly, he looked at the badge on Elizabeth's necktie and his eyes widened. "They've made you Gryffindor prefect! Congratulations, Elizabeth!"

"She was?" Kiku tilted his head in confusion. Then he noticed the badge on Elizabeth's necktie. "Oh, my sister Sakura would be proud of you!"

"Thanks," Elizabeth beamed with happiness. "For a while I thought it would be Sadik, but oh well...lucky me, am I right?"

"I see Hogwarts!" a girl with chocolate brown hair held in long, low pigtails by ribbons, a dark tanned skin, and somewhat orange eyes who Elizabeth didn't recognize said.

Everyone, including her, immediately looked out the window. Sure enough, a seven-story high castle, with a ton of windows, four tall towers in each corners, a large courtyard, and a lake commonly known as the Great Lake, surrounded by the Forbidden Forest came into view. It was a view Elizabeth had known for so long.

It sure feels glad to be back.
