Naira's POV

I was crying , literally crying , why is it so difficult to stop crying. Suddenly there was a knock at the door , I wiped my tears and then went to open the door , no sooner did I open the door , James hugged me.

I hugged him back too.

" Are you crying?" James asked

Am I so bad at acting?

I came out of his hug

" No , why?" I asked trying to give a small smile

" A brother knows everything" James said

And my heart sank , how can I betray these people , I'm not a heartless person.

" No , it's not a big deal" I said

" Ok if you say" James shrugged his shoulders and then went downstairs

I suddenly noticed from my corner of eye , William was seeing us. Suddenly he came to me and whispered

" I will find out , who you are Aisha Cooper , soon" William said

" Keep trying" I said and then closed the door on his face

Kartik's POV

She left my office shocked , she did not see that coming , William has suspicion about her identity , I have too , but if she's not Aisha then who the hell is she , I did her background check and everything but nothing.

I have offered her to join my Mafia , if she joins that will mean she have nothing to lose , because according to her background she have no family , but if she turns down the offer that will mean she have some secrets.

" Are you done day dreaming" Issac asked

I smacked him

" Ouch! What's that for?" He said rubbing the spot on his head

" That's for interrupting my thoughts" I said in a plain tone

" Sir James is calling you both to the dungeon" a guard said

We both nodded and then went downstairs , there was a man tied on the chair in one of the small rooms

" Like everyone, he's not telling anything" James said

" Fine then we'll use some tools" I smirked

" So , first you betray your family that means us and then when we give you a chance then also you are taking the side of the enemy" I said in a slow threatening voice

" You are the one taking over other Mafia's , we are small , so it doesn't mean you totally banish us" he spat

He had the nerve to do that , I picked up the knife from the table and then stabbed his thigh , he screamed.

" You people are nothing , you people use innocent girls , because of you innocent people die , how the hell do you think I will not banish you , no no , I will first torture you all to hell and then death might come as a welcome" I said

That was true , our mafia never killed an innocent , we don't kidnapp innocent girls for money. We are no saints but we are not monsters even , When I became the mafia , making the south side of the country clean from these pests was my foremost duty , but I think some people has misunderstood my agenda and took it as that I kill people to expand my Mafia , it was never like this.

Suddenly I heard a scream from upstairs , I think , I know this scream , we all rushed upstairs and I saw Aisha on the floor unconscious with blood flowing out from her left shoulder , she's been shot. I immediately picked her up and James called the family doctor.

No , she's innocent , I can't let her join the mafia even if she say yes , she's too delicate and fragile to deal with these things , she's an angel.

Naira's POV

I picked up the gun from the drawer in the library , I can't do this anymore , I can't betray more people , there love , James and Issac are like brothers to me , Chloe and Anna they are too good to be with me and lastly Kartik , he care for me , my heart always skips a beat when I see him , I think I like him but I can't betray him too . He(someone else) was right , I was weak. There's no one on my side anymore.

And then ' BANG'

Both Naira and Kartik are misunderstanding each other , on one side Naira has came here to keep a check , but in reality Kartik has no intentions like this as you have read , and on other side Kartik is misunderstanding Naira , maybe there's a little angel part still left in her , What say??
