This is very important, especially for writers out there.

I can't tell whether I should be mad or creeped out because all of my books are on this website and updated to recent.

On several occasions you guys tell me about my stories being copied onto a Vietnamese website called Truyen, and I kept my silence, but decided to do a little digging into the interworks of Truyen and found a whole lot of badness. For the newcomers who might be confused or the ones who never heard of Truyen, let me explain.

Ever googled your username to see what you would find? I do it sometimes, mostly when I'm trying to find something I may have lost.

But..have you ever see this?

This shows up at the bottom on the last number on the google search results, this hides the mirror websites. These websites have created an uproar within the Wattpad Community time to time. Many of you telling me when the tagging of authors in danger start popping up to chapters about their works being stolen. And if you go onto these mirror sites, you better run an antivirus scan on your device right this second.

While I am mad about my work being copied, I'm more creeped out that this website updates frequently. It is like they are sitting there waiting for you to post something so they can post if on their website. The thing is, there are more than just one site, and it seems to be the only one that I can see that people talk about.

Are the ones I found, but they all have truyen in them. But truyenfun.com seems to be the most popular. And before you even think about visiting these sites, DON'T!!!! These sites are filled with malware. Malware is a type of computer virus that can damage your phone or computer because that is how the viruses are designed. They are designed to damaged or disable your device which is very very bad. It is basically as bad as throwing your computer into a lake. So don't visit these sites unless you want to stare at this for two hours because it detected a risk of a malware attack.

And also stays at 99% for twenty minutes and it still at 99%. But while AVG AntiVirus decides whether or not my macbook has a virus on it, let's talk about the sites And what I found out with my research into it.

The Wattpad team is aware of these sites and have been working on removing them for a long time now. But the thing is that these sites were created in places where copyright laws are less caring then where Wattpad HQ is located, which is in Canada if you didn't know. But it is hard to shut these sites down due to their creator's origin but they have been working on it.

But this cannot really count as plagiarism of your work, but really of Wattpad itself.

And another thing, all authors are on these sites. Every book on Wattpad is on these sites, people are just slowly discovering it.

Okay my AVG AntiVirus just finished (took another ten minutes, may not seem like it, but it is true) and look at what it found that I supposedly downloaded that I didn't, the mirror sites forced it on my computer. And I resolved them all but they are counted as unsecure threats and should be dealt with immediately and some interesting viruses were found, including one very dangerous one.

Seven threats....interesting...HOW IN THE HELL DID IT DO THAT?!?! OH I KNOW! Because it wants to damage your technology. So do not visit these sites at all! It is not worth the risk! I am lucky to have AVG AntiVirus, but phones and tablets aren't so lucky. So do not visit them at all. Yes, your stories are on these mirror websites, but these sites are full of horrible computer viruses that will damage your computer to the point of of almost unusable. So do not visit them.

And if you say that you visited these sites and your tech is fine, that's funny. Most viruses are unnoticeable by the victim of them. If you are wondering why I am say that, look up "trojan virus" Vietnamese love these viruses and these mirror sites are Vietnamese. And if you are too lazy too, fine, I'll explain it. A trojan virus is like a backdoor to your computer. They let in hackers, they get into your personal files, and more all the while you have absolutely no idea they are doing it. AVG AntiVirus, which is the software I bought to protect me computer from worms, virues, and hacks protects me against trojans. And in those seven threats AVG found, the top one is a type of trojan virus. The others are unwanted programs that can harm my computer. So do not visit these sites, they aren't safe. I saw how they said apple products are not at risk, that's a load of bull, I have a MacBook Pro, and it put a trojan virus on my computer, so that isn't the truth. If they are talking about iPhones....you know what, I'm not even gonna try that, I like my phone and would like to keep it virus free thank you..

Wattpad is doing something about it as well, this has been going on for a very long time, over a year now to be exact. It seemed like unpublished stories are not on the site, but stories are that private or deleted or open to public are on the sites. Deleting your stories will not fix it, nor will privatizing your story. Just be patient.

These sites are mirror sites, they aren't hacking into your accounts and they aren't watching your every move (Even though it feels like it). These sites mirror want you post, they take what you write and copy it onto their site. They even copy the amount of reads and votes as well.

The moment you hit the publish button, your story will be on these mirror sites, even if your story only has 10 reads, it will be on the mirror sites. It is not only authors who have a lot of reads and votes, ones who don't have a lot of reads and votes are on the mirror sites too.

I know it sucks having your or your favorite writers' works copied onto another site, but these isn't anything we can do. The Wattpad Team is working on shutting these sites down, they have reached out to us telling us about these sites and how they work and how dangerous they are. But they also say they are working on shutting them down. So trust them, it takes time since these sites are created in places where they are little to no copyright laws. So calm down guys, the most you can do is avoid these sites at all cost. You saw what it put into my computer, imagine that being your phone or computer?

Oh and Musical season is now officially over! I'm going to start writing chapters again and I don't think anymore musicals are going on, unless another company contacts me, kidding. but I just wanted to bring that up since I have been inactivate on Wattpad for days, only posting chapters every two or three days. So that is what has been going on, and I hope to continuing writing and catch up on a lot of homework. But I am going to Virginia in a few days, so that will hinder writing ability, but I plan to write a bunch before Virginia and post while I am gone. But that is all I have to say, my update schedule is returning back to normal in a week or two, so hang in there guys! Your favorite stories of mine will be updated soon. And also I have been working on two short stories during rehearsals whenever I get the chance for you guys to read, so be excited for those because they have been a pain in my ass lately.
