I'll have all of you know that I spent any free time I had during rehearsals writing this....I got rehearsals every day but Sunday and occasionally Friday. So writing chapters for you all, at least good ones that I'm happy with, are gonna be very slow. Which is why my updates have been lacking very much lately. Like right now, my focus for a chapter now is gonna be The Slave and that's it. And than if I can Legends Never Fade (since you all seen to like it so much and the comments from that book are hilarious..) But I do have a No Return chapter for you all that I've been hanging onto since last Thursday. But enjoy the chapter! :)

In the meantime..I got Civics homework and notes to write out as well as Algebra 2 homework to do.....

The Ruins of Silence, the ruins are the reminds of a once proud kingdom that stood tall only to fall one day without explanation. Most of the buildings being built of either stone or wood, the wooden building had fallen over due to rotting wood or termites. The stone buildings covered in moss are standing mostly. While in the center of the kingdom is a stone palace, most of the palace collapsed in on itself, but most of the shell of the structure is intact. While wildlife, mobs, and overgrown vegetation have made the Ruins of Silence its home. The ruins got its name due to the fact that walking through the destroyed kingdom gives almost everyone an uneasy feeling. People who visit own tell tales of ghosts, dragons, and an attack that led to the kingdom's destruction. No one knows who ruled the kingdom, or even what the kingdom was called, but most suspect some type of attack on the kingdom due to the damages to the buildings and finding skeletons of all ages scattered throughout.

In fact, Seto, Adam, Ty, and Statilia found refuge in a building that is missing a few walls and a floor. Ty had his sword in his lap, it was his turn for the night shift, the fire was out and the others were sleeping. Adam fell asleep propped up against the wall, Seto was sleeping on the ground and Statilia fell asleep beside Adam, her head resting on his shoulder that made Ty smile whenever he looked at them. Ty looked at the sky, seeing the stars covering the sky with a moon bright and lighting up the dark world around them only a little. Ty turned his head hearing a branch snap. He stood up, he looked around, seeing nothing strange. He went back, his eyes widen seeing someone standing beside Seto.

"Hey!" Ty shouted before he tackled the figure off Seto. Seto woke up and so did Adam and Statilia. Seto sat up, Ty grabs the figure's wrists, pinning them to the floor as his knee dug into their back.

"Who's this?" Seto asks. The figure struggles, trying to break Ty's grip but can't. Statilia looks at them, her eyes widening a little. She got up she moves towards them about to say something when she felt something hit her neck. Seto and Adam the same. Ty looks at the three of them as they collapse, Ty felt something hit his neck too, causing his grip to weaken greatly. The figure under him gets up and grabs Ty, Ty struggled feeling something grab his wings and restrict them making him lash out at the figure in front of him. But once he attacked, he felt drowsy and collapsed into someone's arms. Ty felt his conscious slip into darkness.

Adam woke up feeling someone shaking him. His eyes crack open and he grabs the person's arms.

"S-Stop.." Adam mumbled. He hears a sigh of relief, his vision clears and he see Ty on his knees in front of him. The both of them in a jailcell underground. Ty pushes Adam to sit up, Adam groans and puts his arm around his stomach as he gritted his teeth. Ty loses his smile.

"Let me see." Ty said touching Adam's arm.

"I'm fine." Adam said. Ty noticing his strain voice. Ty grabbed Adam's wrist, pulling it away before he lifts up Sky's shirt halfway seeing his bandage wrapped around his stomach. His bandage is partly stained red worrying Ty.

"You feeling okay? I think your stitches could have broke." Ty said. Sky nods, he touches his head.

"I'm only lightheaded...but I'm fine.." Sky said. Ty lowers Sky's shirt.

"I shouldn't have asked you to come, you--"

"Ty..I'm fine. I'm okay. Just a little blood that's all." Sky said smiling. Ty stared at Sky, looking away.

"Don't fake with me, Adam. You know you aren't good at that." Ty said. Adam loses his smile. Ty sits down beside Adam. "I wanted to ask...how did you get hurt? I heard the King did it but what happened.." Sky looks at his hands, staring at them.

"I..I just got distracted." Adam said.

"He mentioned Alesa, didn't he?" Ty asks. Sky flinched at that name, not looking up. Ty looks away from Adam. "It's her lost, Adam...you're a great guy....but you let..you trust people too easily and that's why you get hurt a lot." Adam didn't respond, Ty looks around trying to look for the other two. "Wait..where are Seto and Statilia?" Ty stood up as Adam looked around. Ty walked up to the bars, looking around. Ty spots a guard, Ty grabs the bars. "Hey! Where's Seto and Statilia?"

"Do you mean that wizard?" The guard asks. Ty nods. "Wizards, especially ones like your friend, aren't allowed to live the island alive." Ty's eyes widen and Adam struggled up to his feet.

"What? No." Sky said. Ty grips the bars.

"Just give us them back and we'll be on our way." Ty said. The guard shakes his head, not looking at the two once.

"No prisoner is allowed to leave without permission from the Princess." The guard said.

"And who is the Princess?" Sky asks.

Seto woke up sitting on his knees, his wrists chained to pillars and a gag in his mouth. Seto's eyes open, his blurry vision and headache made it hurt for him to focus. He could hear talking, shouting almost, but he couldn't hear anything they were saying. When his vision cleared, he saw guards around him with spears and arrows pointed at them. Seto picked his head up. 'This doesn't seem good, crap! Where are Adam and Ty?' Seto thought.

"I thought we told you, you dark mage fifth, to stay out of this kingdom." A voice spoke. Seto looks behind him, seeing a cloaked figure. Seto looks away, staring at the ground in front of him. The gag is yanked out of his mouth letting it hang around his neck.

"You...You call this a kingdom?" Seto asks. He chuckles lightly. Seto looks up, meeting the figure's eyes. "No offense, your highness, but this patch of rumble is the aftermath of a war that happened over two centuries ago. Where are my friends and that girl?"

"Statilia's fine. But that dragon boy, who is he?" She asks as she lowers her hood. Seto chuckles and shakes his head, he looks at the floor.

"Bite me." Seto snapped. She puts her hand up as the guards moved towards Seto, stopping them.

"I will not take your disrespectful tone, Seto." She said. Seto's eyes widen as he flinched at that name. "I apologize for the circumstances, but you must understand why you are being treated like this. Let's start over. My name is Princess Rosnai, what is your name?" Seto stayed silent, thought to rack around in his head. 'Wait...Princess Rosani...Rosie?' Seto thought. Princess Rosani is a semi-tall woman with pale skin and chestnut brown curly hair in a tight ponytail letting her piercing blue and silver eyes show. She had on a cloak, brown boots with black jeans and a red shirt, but Seto could tell that like Ty, she had dragon wings and a tail. "Fine, give me the silent treatment." She grabs Seto's sleeves and pulls them out of the chains, letting them fall down his arms revealing black tattoos on his arms. "So you are Harvey Magi, son of Vince Magi. I find it funny that you are even still alive." Seto stared at the ground, saying nothing as the guards lower their weapons. He bites his bottom lip. "I could turn you in, Harvey. I bet that the Magic Council would love to see you again." Seto picks his head up, his eyes look up at Rosani. She crosses her arms, meeting his eyes, she smiles a little. "And yet how could I do that to one of my closest friends." Seto gives her a small smile. She returns it but loses it. "But you must understand why I can't let you go, my people still see you as a threat...a danger to all."

"I get it, Rosie. To be honest I didn't really recognize you. You've changed..I didn't recognize your brother either." Seto said. Rosani uncrosses her arms.

"What do you mean my brother? Which one?" She asks.

"Prince Tobias. I couldn't tell it was him without his wings or his horns or his attitude." Seto said.

"T-Tobias....no...my older brother died—"

"That's what I thought. But no. He's the winged one, talk to him. He...He doesn't know who he is or anything, Rosie. And he doesn't know that I know, but Statilia does." Seto grumbled at the end making Rosani smile.

"You and Statilia never got along. But Statilia said they call you Seto Azdel..is that the name you picked for an alias?" Rosani asks. Seto nods.

"Please use it, I haven't told anyone about my Magi ties....if I'm being honest...I just want to forget about it. My family never had a good reputation in the magic community. But...um...is Wendy with you? Did she make it?" Seto asks. Rosani's eyes soften when he asked.

"Har—I mean Seto....you know my answer to that." She said. Seto looked away, his expression saddening.

"It was worth a shot," Seto mumbled. She crouches down, cutting the gag off from around his neck and his eyes look at her. She gives him a shy smile. She moves his hair from his eyes and he smiles at little at her warm touch on his skin.

"It was really nice seeing you again, I was afraid that I lost you too when the Kingdom fell. But I'm glad you are okay, I missed you. Leading isn't something I'm good at," Rosani said. Seto stared at Rosani.

"Rosie...what are you up too? Statilia coming to the Sky Army base, and Ty...I know you are up to something." Seto said. Rosani looked at him in the eyes and she looked back at her hands.

"Remember Tristan? Tristan Hunt? The guy who was after Tobias but you locked away?" She asks. Seto nodded. She looks at him. "Your spell was broken, he's waking up and is still angry. So I had to find either you or Acanthi or a light mage that was willing to help. Statilia's job was to get into the military of this age and convince the leaders to help us. So we found out about the Sky Army and heard about how powerful they were and that they were accepting new recruits and Statilia went to convince the leader to help us." Seto lost his smile. 'Wait a second. That's why Statilia came to the base? So she wasn't looking for Ty, she was looking for Adam!' Seto thought. 

"Well you have the leader of the Sky Army captured and even then, Sky would be willing to help you with no convincing needed. But Tristan...that spell I put on him was suppose to keep him locked away for decades. I redid the spell on him a few decades ago just to be safe." Seto said. Rosani nodded.

"And that helped. But...we can't keep putting it off. We have to face him eventually and since my brother is okay. He can."
Rosani said. Seto shook his head.

"N-No. Ty can't fight Tristan. He isn't Prince Tobias anymore, he doesn't fight like Tobias did. He can barely fly straight and his landings suck, trust me. He can't do it, Rosie." Seto said

"Halisca is watching over the tomb for us, he'll report to us if Tristan reawakens. But in the meantime...I can't let you go unless my brother says so or you escape." Rosani said. She smiles a little. "And knowing you, escaping won't be an issue." Seto shrugs his shoulders, Rosani smiles at him. She puts her arms around his neck as she hugged him.  Seto's cheeks redden slightly, he smiled. "After losing Ashlaniz and Sesthe, I'm glad you are still here."

"If I could hug you I would. But you still have a chance to get your older brother back." Seto said to her. "And I'm glad you are okay, I never thought I would see you again." She lets go of him, leaning back.

"I'm real sorry about Wendy, she would be happy to see you too. Actually more excited than I am." Rosani said. Seto gives her a small smile. The doors burst open and Rosani looks behind her.

"Princess, the prisoners escaped!" They said. Seto smiles as Rosani stand.

"What? How?!" She asks. Seto smiles to himself. 'I was wondering when they would escape.' Seto thought.  Rosani looks at Seto. "Who was that human that was with my brother?"

"That isn't any normal human, Rosie. His name is Adam Skylen, Commander of the Sky Army. And he isn't someone you want to mess with. He is Commander of that army for a reason." Seto said. Rosani looks at the guards.

"Find them, now! They couldn't have gone far, they are still in the Kingdom. And bring them back here." Rosani said. The guards leave. Rosani looks back down at Seto. "If that really is my brother, why would he run?"

"Because he has amnesia. He doesn't remember anything, Rosie. All this is completely new to him, he's use to Astina, not two centuries ago Astina." Seto said. Seto looks at her. "And they won't listen to you unless you make them."

"And how do I do that?" She asks.
