Lucy POV

Today is the Dragneel's birthday and it couldn't get any worse! There is a major heat wave even though it is September! I have my Headphones on so I can hear their muffled voices! I hear something about Gray's clothes and that they are melting away! I can see that Natsu isn't affected by the heat and Gray to! Juvia looks as if she is about to melt away and I don't notice the heat because I am too distracted!

I am trying to sketch something in my sketchbook but I have hardly any inspiration! I am on my stomach, kicking my legs up and down, and looking for it! My eyes lay upon Natsu and stay on him and the only thing I can think of is destruction! I look back at my book and sketch a messy book with the letters 'E.N.D' because that is Natsu's nickname sometime! Well, that's what I call him now! I should make the book real and write a secret letter in writing he will never understand!

I get a extra book I never use and sketch the E.N.D thing on it and make it look four hundred years old! I open it and start writing:

No, way beyond perfect!

You are like me and I am like you and we are a perfect match!

But I realise you don't look at me the same way!

I try to ignore these feelings but I can't!

I got this book idea from looking at you....

I couldn't help me, my eyes just fell on you!

I realise that I love you!

I always thought I was bad luck...

Get myself killed one day!

Even thought of killing myself a hundred times!

Then your voice comes out and stops me with a warm feeling!

I write all of that in another secret language! Not even my sister knows this! I use this is my diary so Mavis won't see it and understand it! Now I won't be able to embarrass myself! I hide it under my pillow and roll up my sleeves so I can colour it! I get my paint kit from my bag and get some colour mixing going on in my extra paper! I mix together some browns and oranges and come up with it being brown with splodges! I get the book out and paint the cover with it and paint in the E.N.D! 

I go to the balcony and hold it in the palm of my hands and let it dry. "Your hair is beautiful in the wind like that you know?" I hear someone compliment me from behind, Natsu. I can hear his voice clearly through the headphones and I turn around and hide the present! He walks up to me and put his arms on the railing and I do too! I pass him the book I made for him and he gratefully takes it! "What is this? You know I don't read!" He smiles.

"Yeah but I made it for you! Just now...I painted it and wrote a secret message in it! I don't feel comfortable saying stuff like that so I wrote it in secret in there! When you understand it, write back on it and give it to me!" I flash a smile at him.
"Oh so now we are talking in secret! Your one of a kind, you know that?" He asks.
"No...And please don't get mad at me when you do understand the message!" I beg of him and walk back inside.

Natsu POV

So for my birthday I have to figure out a puzzle thing? I guess I should start! First word:

What the hell is that? I need Levy for help! But I don't want to act like a brat to everyone in my birthday! And this is also Wendy and Zeref's birthday! I can't do this with Levy now but I want to know what it says! I guess I have to work on it myself! I plop on my bed and put my headphones on to help me concentrate! I got this habit from Lucy, she always puts headphones on to concentrate! This book feels important! Very important!

Zeref POV

"Natsu has been stuck on that book for hours!" I say.
"Yeah, who gave him the book any ways? First time he willingly read a book!" Gray grunts.
"I did!" Lucy says from her bed.
"That makes sense now!" Gray shouts.
"What makes sense?" I ask.

"Secret!" Gray says and motions his lips shut!
"Can I do yes and no questions?" I ask and he nods!
"Does he like the book?" I ask and he gives me a 'kinda' motion.
"Does he like it that its from Lucy?" I asks and he gets a whiteboard out and right warmer! I am getting closer! 

"He loves her?" I whisper to him and he nods his head vigorously!
"That's amazing!" I then whisper!
"At least you found out for yourself! I have camera proof that you found out yourself!" Gray says and waves his phone at me!
"Well, you helped so you are still getting in trouble!" I say and lay on my back.

"Shoot!" He says and puts his phone back in his back pocket!

Erza POV

Natsu has been stuck on his bed and we are making a cake for him! The guys are keeping him entertained so he won't come in the kitchen! Lucy is baking the cake with Mavis and we are going to decorate! There are two cakes because Lucy can't eat icing! The girl has a lot of problems! One is chocolate and the other is normal! Lucy is making the normal and Mavis is doing the chocolate because Lucy practically begged to do that!

They both lay the cake on the counter and it is our turn to decorate! I hear footsteps and see Gajeel come up to us and open the fridge! "The guy wants some food! He is hungry and is too busy doing the puzzle Bunny Girl gave him!" Gajeel says.
"Bunny Girl?" Levy asks.
"Shrimp is Shrimp and Bunny Girl is the blonde!" He says as he heads back out!

"What is so important in that book any ways?" Juvia asks.
"I wrote a message in their and he is figuring out what it means, its in another language I make up!" Lucy asks.
"Really, why didn't he ask Levy?" Wendy asks as she ices the cake.
"Probably wanted to do it himself!" I say and ice it as well!

"Or he doesn't want to seem like a brat to us on his birthday!" Lucy says to defend Natsu and sits down.
"Someone is getting all defensive!" Mira says and wiggles her eyebrows.
"No I am not!" Lucy says in denial!
"Someone is in denial!" Lisanna says.

"Say it again and I will stick this fork in your throat!" Lucy says angrily and holds up a fork!
