I rushed up to Mia and helped her up.

"Fast! We've gotta get in before the zombies catch up to us!" We ran up to the bus and just as we were going to enter, we heard a shout from behind us. I turned around to look at the source and my eyes met Taehyung's.
They were running as fast as they could, away from those infected.

"Mia! Get up on the bus!"

"But what are you gonna do!?"

"Just get in!" I shouted back as I gripped the baseball bat in my hand and ran towards Yugyeom and Taehyung.
The zombies had caught upto them and now they were trying their best to reach us. Yugyeom and Taehyung were trying their best to fend off the hoard but more and more started coming our way. Their groans and movements fastening at a rapid pace.

"We won't be able to leave if this keeps up!" Yugyeom shouted but then all of a sudden a zombie jumped up on him. He gripped the zombie with his arms as he tried to kick it away. It had almost bitten him if I had not hit it's head from behind.

"Let's go! It won't be any better if we try to fight all of them." I extended my hand which Yugyeom quickly accepted and stood up.
Taehyung, Yugyeom and I rushed towards the bus. Namjoon extended his hand to help us get on. When we were finally on Seokjin pressed hard on the accelerator as he crushed any zombie in our way under the bus. The groans and stench of the zombies were still quite noticeable as Seokjin shouted loudly, "Hold steady! The ride's gonna get quite rough kids!"

The sudden speeding of the bus caused me to fall back, resulting in me bumping into Taehyung's chest. Taehyung quickly hugged me tight as we fell down on the hard metal floor of the bus.
"Oof..." Taehyung cried out as his back clashed against the hard, cold metal.

"Taehyung! Are you okay?" I opened my eyes and looked up to find his face inches away from mine. I quickly looked away, a crimson hue appearing on my cheeks, "S-Sorry..."

"N-No... It's o-okay..."

"We're going to get out of school soon! Hold tight! We're gonna clash!" Seokjin shouted out loudly to warn everyone.

"CLASH AGAINST WHAT!?" Hoseok shouted back at the man driving.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CLASH INTO INSTEAD OF HUNDREDS OF THOSE YUCKY ZOMBIES!?" Jimin shouted at the older man.

"STOP SHOUTING! YOU'RE DISTRACTING ME!" Seokjin scolded the others which caused them to go silent instantly.

He sped up again clashing into the zombies with extreme speed and force. Several shouts and groans echoed through the bus as we tried to maintain our composure.
"Just a little more! Come on you can do it Seokjin!" Yoongi tried to encourage him.

"I know! I'm trying my best here!" Seokjin replied while still trying to crush any obstacle in his way. The sudden crashing of the bus against the zombies send us flying towards the back of the bus.
"Hold onto me tightly Y/N!" Taehyung held me closer to him as he seated himself on top of a seat with me on his lap, enclosing me in a protective hug. I clung onto him as we kept speeding up. I wrapped my arms around Taehyung's neck and I shut my eyes close.

After a final jerk of the bus Seokjin shouted in joy, "AND WE'RE OUT!"
Upon the announcement the entire bus erupted into joyous shouts and laughs.

"But what are we supposed to do now?" Jungkook asked as the school started fading away from our sight, growing smaller and smaller with every passing moment.

"Going into the city today will be pretty risky. It's better if we find somewhere to rest and regain our energy." Namjoon's eyebrows came together as he was deep in thought as to what our next move would be.

"There must be other survivors out there. Going in the city is a better option! We may find other rations that are necessary there too!" Hoseok argued.

"I agree. We can't stay away from the city. We have to go in there sooner or later." Seokjin supported Hoseok.

"And it's possible that if we go later, the other survivors might have already taken away all the rations and supplies that we require." Yugyeom added.

"Let's not go into the city today. Our school was deadly as we saw, can you imagine what the city's condition is now?" Jimin shivered as he thought of the condition of the city. Zombies walking around as they attacked anyone that caught their attention. Turning any living being into the living dead, multiplying their numbers by hundreds.

"Let's rest first. We've got enough food for all of us. We can go into the city later. Let's find somewhere to hide." Yoongi adviced and almost everyone seemed to agree with his point.

"There is a hideout where me and the others guys used to go. It's in the woods but it's pretty hidden from the outside. We can go there." Jackson spoke up.

"You sure that it'll be safe there?" Jungkook asked.

"Pretty sure. It's covered with forest on all sides and I don't think the zombies will have made their way through all those trees."

"Let's head there for today. Lead the way will you?" Seokjin then asked Jackson to guide him through the roads towards the hideout.

Our school was located on a small hill, quite far from the city. It was surrounded by a thick forest and a winding road lead upto the school. There were few humans around our school except for those who worked or studied there so the probability of a zombie lurking around the forest was pretty low.

Meanwhile with Y/N and Taehyung...

I opened my eyes and upon seeing Taehyung so close to me, I attempted on creating some distance between us but his arms around me stopped me.
"T-Taehyung..." I called out his name softly.

"Yeah?"

"T-Too close..." I looked down as I felt my blood rushing up to my face. Understanding that I was uncomfortable, he quickly removed his arms from around my back and I moved away from him and sat beside him, "Thank you..." I whispered to which he just smiled.

"You didn't get hurt right?" He asked as he stared right into my eyes.

"N-No..." I shook my head lightly.

He smiled brightly before speaking, "Great!"
