Chapter 6

As I'm thinking, I notice something weird about the dorm. Just two other doors other than mine are marked with names next to them. I walk over to them one by one and read the names off in my head. Xander and... Yelqua? Is that what that says? Those are cool names, I guess. Maybe Xanders the male one, and Yelquas the female one. That's reasonable, right?

Since there's no way to tell which way I should go, I choose to go to the left, which soon proves to be the wrong decision. As I run out of the room at that end of the hall, I close the door violently, and attempt to catch my breathe. Who the HECK keeps a serpent in one of their back rooms?! Yeah, I'm never going this way again.

The next time I walk down the hall I make sure to listen for weird noises before investigating any farther. Since I'd already been to the left, I figure that going to the right will be fine. This door doesn't look like the other door, which was an elegant wooden door with things carved into it. This door was metal, and it looked like it was preventing anyone from getting in. Or out...

The room actually turns out o not be that bad. It's just a room filled with little bits and bobs mixed with some bigger trinkets. I pick up a stray action figure, which suspiciously looks like one of the creatures I saw earlier. The female one, maybe. What was her name again? Yelqua? I shrug and set the figure down, then continue on my marry little way through the next door that's across the room.

The next room is... a little hard to describe. It was almost like a room of constant motion, and room of patterns. The walls shifted what they looked like every few seconds, so it was hard to look at them for more than 5 seconds without getting a headache. I hurriedly jogged over to the next door in hopes of it being slightly, if any, better.

Quick break. Get some water, maybe a snack as well. How was your weekend? Mine was great. Went to see a musical, and I found myself singing along to some of the familiar songs. It was fun. Oop, gotta get back to the story! See ya on the other side!

Yeah, no. As soon as I walked through the door - which turned out to be extremely hard to open because like the walls, the door shifted colors and patterns as well - I immediately regretted wanting to go exploring. This room was filled with plants of all kinds, like an inside jungle. I heard some roaring, maybe growling, off in the distance, and I saw all kinds of insects and small animals.

Feeling something furry snake through my ankles, I jump up in surprise to see... and ocelot. A blumming ocelot. "You gave me quite the scare," I scold it. It just stares up at me, looking adorable. I reach down to pet it, instantly regretting scolding it. "Aw, fine. I'm sorry." It purrs, as if telling me it was fine. With the silky fur between my fingers, I start to feel calmer about being in this jungle of a room.

After I stand up and walk away, I turn to see if the ocelot had followed me. It hadn't, sadly. Only then do I realize that the door I had came into this room from has disappeared. I turn around frantically, hoping to see that same door, or maybe another door. Maybe I'll just walk back the same way I came, I think to myself to calm down, and I do exactly as I thought.

Yoooo, hello! This is one of my longer ones, slowly the chapters will be getting more and more bigger and lengthier. If you want one thing for future reference, someone will get murdered muahahahaha! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Have a good rest of your weekend and I hope you all have an amazing time!
