Dallon fought against the invisible force that held him back as the creature moved towards him. There was a familiarity to the creature that just brought fear to the forefront of Dallon's mind. He didn't want the creature to touch him.
"Remember me, Dallon?" It asked, crouching beside him. "I know you don't love me like you loved me before, but surely you remember."
Dallon kept his mouth shut, staring into the yellow eyes of the creature before him.
It shot a hand towards Dallon and grabbed the collar of his shirt. "Speak when you're spoken to!" It bellowed, shaking the room around them.
"Why?" Dallon blurted out, "Why are you doing this?"
It snickered. "It was always you, Dallon. You're just another obstacle that I'm meant to unlock." It tightened its grip on his shirt. "Don't you remember me?"
Dallon shook his head, struggling for air. The tightness of the creature's grip on his shirt was constricting his airway.
"Don't even remember your name?" It sneered, "Dallon James Urie didn't stick?"
Dallon shook his head as much as his restricted movement would allow. He was starting to see spots in his vision.
"Ryan," the creature boomed, staring into Dallon's eyes, "give me a nightmare."
Something moved in the room. The creature turned away from Dallon, relaxing the grip on his shirt just slightly. Dallon used the moment to look at Kenny, who was still on the floor.
His chest was barely rising and falling.
"Remember, he has to die last." A familiar female voice said from somewhere around the scene.
The creature holding Dallon tightened its grip on his shirt once again, stealing a breath of air from him.
"Don't worry, I'm just reminding him of our history." It said before slamming a hand against Dallon's mouth.

Sarah watched as Brendon force fed the nightmare into Dallon. The human's eyes went completely white for a moment before returning to their natural state and focusing on the demon before him.
His screams were audible from beneath Brendon's hand.
"Is the other one dead yet?" Brendon asked as he pushed his hand harder against the struggling human's mouth.
Sarah peaked over the counter at Kenny. There wasn't much left behind his eyes. A lingering spirit that was just hanging on.
"Nearly." She replied. She hummed softly, attempting to coax the spirit to loosen its grip on the vessel laying on the floor.
The sooner the task could be accomplished, the better. As long as she didn't use magic on the dying human, she could aid in helping out what little life was left.
"Remember me now?" Brendon was asking Dallon, eyes glowing wildly as Dallon fought from under his grip.
---
Dallon screamed from under the demon's hand.
Brendon, its name was Brendon.
Dallon had watched what felt like a nightmare play out before his eyes before he had been brought back to the present moment. Brendon had wanted him to kill Kenny, but he had killed the demon instead. Now though...
Tears streamed down Dallon's face. He screamed Kenny's name, but it was muffled under Brendon's hand. He tried to fight, but he was held back by an invisible force on top of Brendon's hand.
"He's dead." The woman's voice said casually.
Brendon laughed, "Finally!"
The demon's hand pulled away and Dallon was slammed face first to the floor. He cried out, finally able to release his voice and a full breath. He turned his head to face the still figure just feet away. The knife still still stuck out of his chest, but it was still.
"This is long overdue." Brendon laughed, "You really caused me some pain, Dallon." Dallon felt a weight on his back, pinning him down. "Really stabbed me in the back."
Dallon's head was still facing Kenny, so he could see Brendon's cracked, gray hand wrap around the knife handle before ripping it out of Kenny's chest. He shut his eyes, instantly having the moment replay behind his eyelids.
"Only fair that I return the favor." Brendon spoke with a growl on the edge of his voice.
Dallon opened his eyes. He kept his gaze on Kenny rather than fight against the force that held him down. He killed him. He had murdered, just like the demon wanted. He wanted to apologize. He wanted to reach out. All he could do, however, was choke as the knife plunged through his back, straight into his heart.
