Over the past year, I have been dealing with what I like to call Fandom Drama.

This isn't about haters (despite how many I rant about to my friends) nor is it about the mcyt drama.

This is about my views on our community.

As mentioned, this has been haunting me for over a year.

While I love writing about ESMP and the life series...I haven't watched a series when it came out since Limited Life.

The last series I enjoyed and kept up with is ESMP S2 (at least the first part, so ig Afterlife SMP)

I've been meaning to talk about this for a while because whenever someone talks to me about the new series or mentions any Minecraft YouTuber, I get hit with bittersweet memories.

Most of them, sadly, on the bitter side.

The reason why is because I'm growing out of it. As much as I still like it, I can't force myself to hold on.

Nor can I force myself to let go.

I've been having this internal battle since Secret Life and let me tell you, it hasn't gotten any easier.

Don't get me wrong, I still adore writing for this community, but I won't lie when I say I get a sour taste in my mouth at times.

As some of you may know, I got super into the Zelda fandom recently.

But that won't fix everything. As much as I love it and partake in those fun stories, it can't completely replace everything I've built up.

The whole point of me telling you this is so you guys will try and be patient with me.

I have a thing planned so hopefully things will get better, but know I'm not keeping up with any new events or writing for any new series.

I promise I'll give a storm of updates on everything (cause most of my stuff I already finished writing, just not posting) soon enough when things calm down :]

Please know that I will continue to write about mcyt, but it's really just me dealing with bittersweet memories and being comfortable with where I am.
