Ara's POV

Whis chuckled as I basically ate like Goku. I was starving and this food tasted amazing!

"I guess saiyan appetites don't vary. You all eat like pigs " beerus said while he ate some pudding.

"Hey I am starving so shut up kitty!" I yelled at him. He growled and clenches his fist causing the cup of pudding to shatter. I knew very well he could kill me with one finger yet I knew whis wouldn't let him. I simply found this amusing so I smirked and kept eating.

"Now now beerus she is our student. And she's a naive child remember when it comes to our form of training remember ?" Whis said calming beerus down.

"Yes you are correct whis" beerus said glancing at me.

"In this case yes I am naive. I like to have motivation when I fight. Also I have enough sense to know you'll kill me yet I amn't afraid of you like my dad is. So threaten me all you want, I have friends in the afterlife to keep me company " I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"You know saiyans are really pathetic. Your just like all the saiyans that were killed the day of planet Vegeta's destruction. Stubborn and irrational. I'm glad I ordered their destruction" he said. I felt my heart stop.

Toma! Totapo! Selypa! Pumbukin! Get up! Please ! Please don't leave us alone...

"You what?..." I asked hoping I'd misheard him as I felt tears prick my eyes.

"I ordered their death. And frieza did a good job. To bad he left many alive. From whis's count there were 7" he said.

Broly.. Paragus.. nappa.. Raditz.. dad.. Goku.. Turles..

"Of course since your little incident when Rayne caused you to mess with time that number has gone up to 8. Let me ask you this. If you were able to go back in time again to the few days before planet Vegeta was destroyed what would you do?" Beerus asked.

I felt whis staring at me, waiting for an answer.

"I-I would have offered myself as a sacrifice to save all the saiyans who were killed on the planet, on frieza's ship and the ones who were hunted down on missions and slaughtered like animals.. it's a fate no one deserves.. even after their actions .." I said looking down at my plate.

"Huh.. sympathy and tears. That's a first. I guess you are different " he said.

4 months and 28 days later

Today was my last day of training. Then I would get home and have a day with my family. Finally.. I missed everyone so much. Bardock and King Vegeta had been supporting me and I had been talking to Mikey with the scouter. Yet I wanted to see their faces... I was actually starting to forget Zeno and Mikey's faces yet everyone else's was so clear. I couldn't wait to see them..

All of these thoughts swirled around my head as I fought with whis. I heard him chuckle and it was probably because I was obviously not paying attention as i attacked him and he was toying with me. I pretended to still daydream before I suddenly spun around as fast as I could and kicked him hard in the back. He didn't move but he smiled.

"Well done. You got past my defences without me going easy on you this time. I think you deserve a reward for that " he told me.

"What type of reward ?" I asked.

"You can go home a day early" he told he. I hugged him tightly and teleported to my room, shoving every item I owned into my bag. My tail wagged happily behind me as if I were some sort of dog.

I ran back to whis. Beerus sat outside eating.

"Bye kitty!" I yelled before whis teleported is back to earth, I saw whis roll his eyes as I did so. We were outside capsule corp. he wasn't beside me when I looked. I rolled my eyes and walked inside.

"Oh hello Ara dear" granddad said to me. I rolled my eyes and muttered "hey". He didn't even notice i was gone. Like usual..

I walked upstairs to our house and I opened the front door.

Mom was cooking, Trunks was sitting on the couch with Mikey, drinking something, while Mikey read.

I whistled to grab their attention. Trunks opened one eye and looked at me.

"Ara?.." he asked in disbelief. Mikey looked up from his book and smiles. They both shot up and hugged my tightly. I smiled brightly and hugged back.

"I missed you so much sis" trunks said. Mikey nodded in agreement.

They stopped hugging me and looked at me.

"I see your hair hasn't grown like usual. But you've got abs now so that's a plus" trunks said chucking slightly.

"Yes. and you need to cut your hair. Mikey's hair is normal and you look like a girl " I told him with a smirk.

"You should go say hi to mom. She hasn't been paying attention to stuff lately.." he said. I sighed and went to the kitchen.

"Mom?.." I asked. I got no response. "Mommy.." I said again. This time she responded with a hum and looked at me.

"Ara ?.." she asked. I smiled and nodded. She hugged my tightly.

"I missed you sweetheart.." she said. I nodded agreeing with her.

"I'm glad to be back mom.." I responded. Finally..
