Zeno's POV

I groaned in pain as I stretched. Did I black out?.. I looked around for the kids but didn't see them. I was in a room.. on a bed.. what the hell is going on?.. I got up and went to open the door but it was locked. I growled to myself as my tail flicked behind me. I needed to get out of here.

I punched the wall but my fist bounced off it like it was rubber. It did make a loud thud though.. and I heard another thud from the other side. Out of curiosity I hit it again. And another hit came back. I hit it twice and it copied me. I wasn't alone. Interesting.. I went to punch it again but before I could the door to the room opened, and I saw my father standing in front of me. He smiled at me yet I could tell it was fake, and I could see the faint glow of a Kiblade behind his back.

"What the hell do you want?" I asked. He replied "don't you want to see Ara ?". I stared at him for a moment, trying to figure out if he was trying to trick me. "Where are the kids?" I asked.  "Why should I tell you? I only offered for you to see Ara. The other one isn't my problem" dad told me. I glared at him. "His name is mikey" I said sternly. I rolled his eyes and walked away, grabbing my wrist with his tail and practically dragging me after him.

He led me into a room. Ara was unconscious and limp in a chair. I barely saw her breathing.. I actually thought I was looking at a corpse. Suddenly dad.. actually he doesn't even deserve for me to call him that.. Turles walked over and slapped her. She didn't even flinch. "She's out cold. I could kick the absolute shit out of her and she won't move. Hell, I could even stab her" he said as he revealed the kiblade and pressed it against her neck. "You think I should try?" He asked me. "I think if you did Seth would skin you.." I told him. He chuckled and pulled away. "Looks like your not completely useless after all Zeno." He told me. I growled slightly and barely stopped myself from lunging at him. I noticed bandages wrapped around her head.. "what did you do?.." I asked.

"Oh finally I was waiting for you to ask. We had a lot of fun. It was a scene for the cover up, little did they know it was real. We completed our little project we started ages ago. She'll do whatever we say. We don't want her to wake up, she'll stay asleep till she starves to death. We want her to do a fake interview to throw the idiots off their trail, she'll do it. She's practically a sleeper agent" Turles explained. I glanced at Ara and muttered "bullshit.." . "Excuse me" He asked. "I said bullshit. You can't re-wire someone's brain. You know damn well what happened to Vegeta when that babidi guy tried to control him and his own damn pride to kill Goku got in the way and consumed him. She'll break out of it and will probably kill you and you know it. Your terrified" I say, venom lacing every word.

He pushed me up against the wall and wrapped his hand around my neck. "I decided to keep you alive, you pathetic waste of life, because i thought you'd be useful since your half me. But all you are is a burden. Don't make me change my mind. I let you live, if you don't stop interfering I will sell you to someone as food" he told me. I kicked him off me and rubbed my neck from the pain as we glared at eachother. He stormed out of the room. I went and picked up Ara, holding her close to me as she was limp. If I held her wrong she could get hurt.

I brought her back to my "room". I glanced at the other door curiously. I went to knock on it, wondering if whoever was in there would knock back but the door simply swung open. It was empty and there were bloody drag marks on the floor that disappeared at the door. I sighed and turned to go back into my room with Ara. I swore I heard a chuckle. I glanced around me and didn't see anyone. I shifted uncomfortably and went into my room only to hear the door slam behind me and the room going dark. I held Ara closer to me and I glanced around trying to figure out my surroundings. I heard that chuckle again.

It was surrounding me. I kept backing up till I hit the bed and stumbled, dropping Ara and being left in the dark. "Hello Zeno. We have some catching up to do my friend"
