I went back and edited some time stuff in the other chapters so it didn't get too confusing. This all started Tuesday and this chapter takes place on Thursday.

|•Thursday, November 9th, 2022. 4:26am•|

A loud thud on the widow causes the students to all bolt awake. They look out the window and see one of the zombies standing on the windowsill outside and trying to eat them through the glass.

Bakugou turns to Todoroki and whispers, "Don't let Deku see this"

Todoroki gives him a strange look, but stands in front of Deku and hugs him so he can't see.

"I'm sorry Midoriya" Aizawa says with a sad voice.

"Huh? What are you talking about? Shouto let me go" Deku pushes his way put of Todoroki's arms and turns to Aizawa, who is looking at the window, so he looks at it as well.

It takes him a moment to recognize his mother. But when he does, he screams and falls to his knees. "No. No. No! NO! Please no! This isn't real! I'm gonna wake up, and she won't be there! Everything will be fine!" He smashes his hands over his eyes, waits a few seconds, and removes them. "No!" He screams.

Todoroki wraps his arms around him. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry Izuku" He kisses his head. Uraraka joins the hug, and the rest of the Deku squad does as well.

"I'm sorry Midoriya" Aizawa repeats. Mina turns around and closes the blinds.

|•6:30am•|

"Hawks has given the report. You need to go get the survivors" Aizawa says.

"You want us to... keep killing the bitten?!" Mina yells.

"It's not ideal but we have to. We can't have them turning" Aizawa says. The class nods slowly. They pack a backpack with essentials in case something happens and they can't make it back. "Stay in the same groups, Hitoshi, you can join team purple. You seem fit for that group"

"Alright. Let's do this" Kirishima says. The students walk out of 1-A

The moment they exit the building, Jirou turns on the go-pro she has strapped around her chest.

"What's that for?" Denki asks, pointing to it.

"To document the experience. If we don't survive, maybe someone will find the camera and see what happened to Earth" She smiles.

"You make it sound like we won't make it" Momo says sounding unimpressed but also a bit sassy.

"We may not" Shinsou shrugs.

"Don't be so depressing" Denki smacks his arm lightly.

"So how long will the battery last?" Mina asks.

"Normally not more than a few hours. Buuuut, I made some modifications to it, so it should last around 24 hours. Plus, I brought a few charging blocks for our phones, and this" Jirou explains.

"So you'll be out hacker if we need? Pft, nerd" Denki smirks.

"Yup. But we should go" Jirou adjusts the strap on her backpack so it's tight against her body.

"Yeah" Mina replies.

"Shinsou! To your left" Jirou yells. Shinou jumps away from the zombie's jaws just in time. He draws the sword, made by Momo of course, and slams it into the zombie's chest. But it doesn't stop it, so Shinsou pulls the sword put and stabs it again, this time it falls.

"They're getting stronger" Mina says.

"Looks like it" Shinsou huffs.

"Let's keep going" Momo says. Jirou pulls put her phone and starts typing while they walk.

Jirou: Some of them have gotten stronger, take extra precautions

Midoriya: Okay. Thanks for telling us

Asui: Stronger?

Jirou: Didn't go down at first

Asui: Gotcha

"Jirou!" Momo screams. Jirou looks up just in time to be tackled to the ground by a male.

"Supplies" He states simply, gesturing to the backpack.

"No" Jirou responds. The man puts a knife to Jirou's throat.

"Give them" He growls.

"Get off of her" Denki warns.

"Babe, quit. If you shock him, you'll shock her too" Shinosu warns.

"We have more supplies. Stay with us and we'll take you where you can be safe" Jirou says. She reaches into her pocket and pulls put her school I.D. card to prove she's a UA student. The man slowly gets off of her. Jirou wipes the small bit of blood drawn by the knife.

"Are you okay?" Momo asks.

"Just fine" Jirou stands up from the gravel.

"What's the plan? We're a couple hours away from UA" Mina asks.

"He'll come with us" Shinsou says while tossing a pack of crackers to the guy. He wolfs it down quickly.

"Let's keep going. I can hear more coming" Jirou says.

"Let's take them out" Denki cracks his knuckles, sparks of lightning crackling on his fingers.

"That's not our job right now. We don't want unnecessary fighting. Our job today is to save people" Shinsou stops him.

"Plus, we can't have you frying your brain quite yet" Jirou snorts.

They continue to walk in the same direction for hours without stopping. Each time they had to kill someone who was bitten, Jirou added a dot to her wrist. So from the day before and this day so far, she has 33 dots.

On the bright side, they had added 2 more survivors to their group.

Misa, age 12 and the man, Takato, age 24.
"Guys, we probably should have turned around a while ago" Jirou says, looking around the dark area with a worried expression.

"What are you talking about? We turned around like, 3 hours ago" Mina says.

"Yeah, are you alright Jirou?" Shinsou asks.

"Wait, no we didn't" Denki says.

"Yeah. I've got the place mostly mapped put around UA. And I don't recognize this area" Momo says.

"Did we really just get lost during the fucking apocalypse?!" Jirou yells.

"No we're not-" Shinsou looks around, "Yeah we're lost"

"We just need to find a place to go then" Momo says. Jirou flips her head around violently, looking for a place to go.

"Dude, chill out. You're gonna hurt your neck" Denki places his hand on Jirou's shoulder. She jumps.

"You okay?" Momo asks.

"Yeah" She flips her head behind her, then to her left, "But uh.. we should find shelter soon"

"Yeah" Mina mutters. Misa tugs on Momo's sleeve.

"What's up kid?" Momo asks with a smile despite the situation.

"I know a place we can go. It's, like, 30 minutes away" She says quietly.

"Okay. Do you want to lead us there?" Momo asks. Misa nods and starts to slowly walk.

The entire walk there, Jirou would snap her head in different directions. They eventually make it to an old looking, run down apartment building.

"It's in here" Misa says. She walks in through the broken glass door.

"Is it safe here?" Momo asks, as they walk, Jirou plugs her jacks into every door.

"It should be. Only my family knows about this place" Misa responds.

She leads them down a staircase to what seems to be the laundry room. There's a chain hanging from the ceiling, she pulls it and a light flicks on. Misa sticks her arm under a bookshelf and pulls a crowbar out from under it. She then walks to the washing machine, moves it, and uses the crowbar to pull open a door that was disguised as the wall.

"Woah. This is super cool! Why didn't you guys just stay here?" Denki asks.

"Because they can get in" Misa replies grimly. "They'll try now that we're here"

"Then how is this place safe?" Shinsou asks, toxicity on his voice.

"Be nice" Denki scolds.

"We can block it off. It's good enough for one day, but they'll eventually get through if we stay too long" Misa explains.

"Okay. Thank you Misa. Let's hurry up and get in" Momo says. They all scramble into the room. There's 2 more doors leading to other rooms.

"There used to be a castle on this land. This place was made to save the royalty if something happened. The owner of this building told me about it, but he died a few years ago" Misa explains.

"That's super cool" Takato smirks. The heroes pull off their backpacks. They hand Takato and Misa two protein bars and each of them got one.

"We'll leave first thing in the morning" Shinsou says. Everyone nods and finishes their food. They pull some items over to the door. Jirou sits on the chest they have in front of the door and keeps her jack plugged in.

"There's 2 twin sized beds in each room" Misa explains.

"So Misa and Takato can each take a twin in one of the rooms. Toshi and I can share a twin, and someone can take the other twin" Denki says.

"I'll sleep here so it's up to you two" Jirou says. Momo crosses her arms.

"You are not sleeping right there" She says sternly.

"You can't stop me. I want to make sure they won't get in" Jirou protests.

"Okay, you can take the other bed Ashido. I'll stay out here with Jirou to make sure she'll actually sleep" Momo says. Mina nods and starts talking to Misa.

"We should probably text the class!" Jirou pulls out her phone and sees all the messages left on the 1-A group chat.

Midoriya: Where are you guys?

Uraraka: Is everything alright? Did something happen?

Iida: Hello? Are you alright?

Kirishima: Are you guys hurt? Do you need us to come?

Tsuyu: Guys?

Jirou: We're okay! Got a little... off trail. We're safe for the night and we'll head back in the morning. Sorry for worrying you guys

Midoriya: Thank All Might!

Kirishima: You had us worried!

Aizawa: Be safe. Head straight back in the morning. If you need help getting back, send your location and we'll help

Momo: Okay, we'll let you know

Iida: How many survivors did you find?

Jirou: We have 2 with us right now

Aizawa: Okay. Get some sleep
