I stood at the door of the afterlife, badly wanting to go to the other side. The other side where awaited all those I loved. Especially (Y/N). (Y/N)... I savoured her name on my whispering lips. How many times had she tried to save me from the darkness. Looking at it now, I wonder how I let the dark twist what I knew of her. Guilt clung to me like a creeper to a pillar. "You weren't yourself , dear king. You are not to blame." I could hear her say. True, but... Still. 

Although I longed to go, I would miss Yugi, Téa, Tristan, Joey... My new found friends. Though I couldn't really say new, now. They had become true friends. We had shared a lot over time. I turned to face them now. Such sadness on their familiar faces! It did hurt to leave them. Strangely, even Kaiba. We've had a good rivalry. I have learnt a lot from this second life. I wish (Y/N) was with me, though... She would've loved to meet them, loved to see what the world has become now.

Tears sparkled in Yugi's eyes. Everyone's eyes. I could see it. I put a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you, " I said. He was true friend. I'd miss him. All of them. "It's hard to say goodbye to someone I've known for so long..." He managed, overwhelmed. "It's not easier for me. You're like a brother to me now." I told him. He smiled. "Glad to help. Hope both of you are happy together." I smiled. Oh yes, he knew about her. Bless his soul to say that, and would personally make sure she is happy. The doors opened, and as a final gesture of goodbye, I raised my hands in a thumbs up to the side. As I walked through, I changed into my Egyptian clothes. The first person I saw was... (Y/N).

Just as mesmerising and beautiful as I first saw her and remembered her. Her (E/C) eyes sparkled, her (H/C) hair fell down her shoulders and she had a sweet smile on her face. I walked towards her and stopped when we were face-to-face. "My king." "My queen." She took my face in her hands. "I've missed you so." "So have I." We kissed. Her lips were just as warm, soft and sweet as I remember. Ah, (Y/N)... I've missed you terribly. I'll never leave you again. "(Y/N)." I said. "Can I say something?" "Of course." "I love you so much." She smiled. "I love you more." "I love you most." "Hello, we exist?" A familiar voice said. Mana! Cheeky girl. Everyone burst out laughing, us included. We walked towards everyone. It's good to be back. Of course I would miss my friends on the other side. How could I not? After all they did? But (Y/N) and I were together, once more. And that what mattered most to me.
