Chaos was furious. First, Seth failed to kill Laff, then the crab man and fury disappear, then Seth goes missing, and the dinosaur hasn't come back! He rubbed his temples. His host, Natalie, laughed.
Natalie: "You're never going to find them." "Shut up." Chaos hissed. He looked at Jooice, his eyes yellowish green, waiting for orders. "Go find Dino. Stay hidden, and don't interact with anyone else but Dino. Make sure no one else is around when you get him." Jooice nodded, and left the room. Chaos sighed. "How hard is it to find a damn crystal?" Chaos asked himself. He left the room, heading outside. He looked at the island, which had faded of all light and warmth. Just his fit. "Chaos!" He turned and his eyes widened. Three people in platinum were behind them, swords in hand. "Chaos, you will give us back Natalie, and come with us to face trial for your crimes." The guy in the middle said. "How did you find me?" Chaos hissed. "We won't say how." the women on the right said. "Best you listen to us, or things will get dirty." the man on the left said. "And what if I don't?" Chaos asked. "Then we'll force you." the man in the middle said. "You can do whatever you want, but you'll never get me." Chaos said. "Oh, we'll see." the woman said. "Really? Because what if I told you that last night, someone came to try and get the others?" Chaos asked. The three unknown people tensed up. Chaos chuckled. "I think you know our friend, Socks." Chaos said. A black portal appeared beside him, and Socks fell out, tied up. Socks struggled to get out, but Chaos kicked him in the head. "You'll make a fool of yourself." Chaos said. "Chaos, let him go. This battle was to stay between us and us alone." the man on the left said. "Really? Because your people are getting married to people from these worlds, so they're going to find out about me eventually." Chaos said. Socks's head was on fire, but that didn't mean he was done fighting. "Chaos, haven't you ever thought about something?" Socks asked. "And what the hell would that be?" Chaos asked. "That some of us wished none of this ever happened." Socks said. The three unknown people didn't know what to do. Chaos chuckled. "You know, you should be careful what you wish for." Socks was confused. When Chaos pulled a potion bottle out, filled with what looked like a storm in it. "NO!" the woman yelled, but it was too late. Chaos threw the bottle at Socks. Socks felt his body burst into fire, like he was being split apart. Socks disappeared, leaving the four of them alone. The woman felt rage fill her. "Have you realized what you've done?" she whispered. "Actually, yes. So?" Chaos asked. Suddenly, snakes appeared out of nowhere, wrapped him up. The man in the middle's eyes was snake green. "Sleep tight," he said. One of the snakes bit him, and everything went dark.
...
Natalie gasped awake. "Where...what?" she muttered. "Relax, Natalie. Everything is fine." a woman said. Natalie sat up in bed, looking at the person who spoke. "It's been ages since I last saw you. You were just a baby. My sister took good care of you." the woman said. "Sister?...Wait." Natalie remembered that her mother talked about having a sister, but she didn't remember a lot about her. "Aunt Faith?" Natalie whispered. "Hey Natalie." Faith said, smiling. Natalie felt her heart life, and jumped out of bed, and into Faith's arms. "Oh, you've grown so big!" Faith exclaimed. Natalie was so happy to finally have someone from her family, besides her brother, to be here. "Wait, Chaos, he was in me." Natalie started to say. "Relax, he's out of you. We came when Keith told us that there was proof Chaos was here. I tried to make the other two believe me sooner, but they didn't want to start a panic. Now with the proof, they have to believe, and they do." Faith said. "What about my friends?" Natalie asked. "They're here, but...except for your friend Socks." Faith said. "Why? Why is he not here?" Natalie asked. Faith sighed. "He found one of our oldest potion recipes. It was meant for people who accidentally traveled through time. It brought them back to their original time, but Chaos...he used it on Socks, and now...he's a glitch in time." Natalie felt her blood freeze. "No, not Socks." Natalie said. "Natalie, I'm sorry. He reacted before we could!" Faith said. Natalie sat on her bed, and began to cry. Socks was such a good friend, and now he was gone. "I'm so sorry dear." Faith said, sitting next to her. She sat there, crying for a while. "Is there no other way?" she whispered. "Not that I know of. I'll talk to some of the Elders." Faith said. Natalie nodded. She heard a buzzing sound suddenly, and Faith looked at a watch. Her face filled with worry. "What's wrong?" Natalie asked. "Um, you're friend, Laff I think, he has an ankle injury. The doctors believe that it may never heal. They may have to amputate it." Natalie felt her head spin. "No, no no no no." Natalie groaned. Faith sighed. "Rest dear." Natalie felt something poke her arm, and she fell asleep.
