Chapter 21
Hey everyone! So...you every have those moments when your writing a book, and you get and idea you think is AMAZING! But kinda cheesy in a way?..........This is that kinda chapter. But just the thought of it makes me laugh sooooo.....ENJOY!
Tommy ducked under Tubbo's sword, and went for his legs. Tubbo jumped, and went for his arms. Tommy backed up to avoided them, and sighed. "Tubbo, I pretty sure you already know this, but I think that no matter how much we train, we won't be ready for Seth." Tubbo nodded. "No, I feel you mate. I pretty sure everyone feels the same." Tommy sat down, putting his iron sword down. "You're not wrong." They turned and saw a girl with pastel pink hair, and wore a black jumpsuit. She had two katanas on her back, and an array of small hand-held weapons on her belt. "Who are you?" Tubbo asked. "I'm Ally. I'm with Socks and the others." she said. "Nice to meet you. I'm Tommy, and this is my friend, Tubbo." Tommy said. "Nice to meet you guys." Ally said. "What's with the swords? And other terrifying deadly tools of death on your belt." Tubbo asked. Ally smirked. "My host makes me really good with swords." "Care to teach us some tricks and tips?" Tommy asked. "Sure! I got nothing better to do anyway." Ally said. So for almost two hours, Ally taught Tommy and Tubbo more ways to use a sword, leaving them exhausted and covered in sweat. "Remind me...not...to get...one your...bad side!" Tommy panted. Ally, however, was not tried, and looked like she had not even picked a sword up. "Yeah, I may have scared Meme once." Tommy and Tubbo laughed. "Anyway, how come we've never met you before?" Tubbo asked. Ally sighed. "I, um...I left our home in our world, about two weeks before all hell broke loose apparently. I was scared to go back, but I didn't know anything what had happened on the SMP, but some feeling in my gut told me something bad happened. I finally went back, to find the place abandoned. Then got the power host, and found myself in this world. I spent time here, until I found Oof and Oompa, who were being attacked by a snake beast." Silence hung in the air, when Tommy suddenly said. "Uh, does a snake beast happen to look like that?" Ally turned, and saw a black snake beast walk in, Laff on it's back. "LAFF?!?!?!?!" Ally yelled. Laff looked up, and smiled meekly. "Hey guys!..." "Wha? How? When?" Ally stuttered. "Just don't ask, and don't kill it." Laff said, sliding off it. It purred, and nudged him. "Easy Orion! You'll knock me off my feet one day." Laff said, laughing. "Orion? You named it?" Ally asked. "Why not? I mean, he's not evil, is he? Hasn't eaten anyone." Laff said. Tommy and Tubbo looked at each other, and got up to the snake beast. "This thing is massive!" Tommy whispered. Orion sniffed Tommy, and then proceeded to lick him. "I think he likes me." Tommy said stiffly. Tubbo laughed, then was also licked. Laff burst into laughter, holding his chest. Ally also started to laugh, looking at the two slobbered covered friends. "GROSS!" Tubbo yelled. Tommy laughed, and Tubbo couldn't help but laugh also. Orion had no idea what was going on, but was in a good mood anyway. Ally came over, and stroked the beasts neck. "So cool." Ally whispered. Laff smiled. Suddenly, they heard screams and shouts of fear outside. "What the?" Tommy asked. Laff climbed onto Orion, and grabbed Ally's hand, pulling her up. Tommy and Tubbo climbed up, and Laff made Orion run outside. People were running left and right, screaming. Ally jumped off, and grabbed one of the running Tueres. "What's going on?!" Ally asked. "Chaos has returned! He has come to kill us all!" they said. They ran off, leaving Ally and the others horrified. "He's here?! Already?!" Laff yelled. "Listen, we need to find him and hold him off for as long as we can!" Tommy said. Ally hopped back on Orion, and they ran towards where people were running away from. Tommy pulled with netherite sword out, same with Tubbo. "Wait! I see something!" Laff said, tugging on the green reins on Orion, making him stop. Laff looked up in the distance, and saw someone floating in the air. Seth. "You might want these." Laff said, giving Tommy and Tubbo green shields. "Will these break?" Tubbo asked. "No, they won't." Laff said. He made Orion start to run, and they slowly got closer to Seth. Suddenly, Meme crashed into the building next to them, and groaned. "Meme!" Ally said. Tommy leapt off Orion, and went to Meme's side. "Seth...is...a lot...stronger than...we thought." Meme said. His eyes were glowing dark red, and his skin had started to burn. Tommy moved him out of the sun, and Meme sighed. "Listen, stay here for now until you're able to stand up without throwing up." Tommy said. "Yeah, I'm not moving for a while." Meme sighed. Tommy left him, and Tubbo and Ally were left. "Where's Laff?" Tommy asked. "He left with Orion to find the others. We need to slow Seth down!" Ally said. "Yeah, but did you not see Meme? His ass was roasted!" Tubbo said. "Yeah, well, I have a power host." Ally started to say. "HE HAS A POWER HOST, AND HE'S ALMOST OUT LIKE A LIGHT!" Tommy yelled. Ally shushed him, and shoved both of them behind a wall. She looked around the corner, and saw Seth looking around in their direction. Ally whipped her head back, and looked at them. "We need to be quiet." Ally whispered. Tommy and Tubbo nodded. They went across the building, and peeked behind the building. Seth was coming their way, and was getting closer. "Hold on." Tubbo said. He pulled out a pocketknife, and carefully pulled out the bottom of the window. "Come on!" Tubbo said. He climbed through the window, and into the building. Tommy and Ally climbed through, and Tubbo carefully put the window back. "Upstairs!" Ally said. They ran up the stairs, and came to the trapdoor that led to the roof. "You ready?" Ally asked. "Ready as hell." Tommy said. Tubbo nodded, and Ally opened the trapdoor. They went out onto the roof, looking around for Seth. Ally looked over the edge, and saw Seth looking for them. Ally pulled her katanas out, and took a deep breath. "I am going to die." Ally thought. She jumped off the building, and landed right on Seth's shoulders. Seth yelped in surprise, and Ally stabbed him in the back. He howled with pain, and grabbed her arms. He threw her forward, and Ally hit the side of a building. "Do you think that's enough to stop me?!" Seth yelled. "Maybe!" Ally said. She thrusted herself out of the side of the building, and swung a shurikin at him. He dodged it, and shot black vines at her. She cut them all, but she didn't see the one behind her. It stabbed her in the leg, and she yelled in pain. She fell to her knees, groaning. "How does it feel now?" Seth asked. "I'll bring you to hell and leave you there." Ally spat. "Oh, feisty talk. I like that." Seth grinned. Ally got to her feet, and swung her katanas at him. Seth dodged them, then shot a vine at her chest. She flipped into the air, and landed on top of the vine. She lost her balance, and fell off. The vine grabbed her ankle, and flung her into a building. "You don't give up easily, do you?" Seth asked. "No, not really." Ally said. Suddenly, Orion came out of nowhere, and leapt into the air at Seth. Seth barely dodged its mouth, but got a tiny scratch of its claws. He winced in pain, but ignored it. Laff suddenly appeared right beside Orion. "Laff, what are you doing?" Ally yelled. "Get out of here! I'll take him from here!" Laff said. He jumped on Orion, and took off. Seth growled in anger, and flew after him. Orion ran as fast as he could, and Laff held tight onto him. The dorms had been empty, and he couldn't find anyone. He went back, only to find Ally fighting Seth by herself. Orion jumped and twisted between the rubble. "C'mon, a little farther." Laff said. Suddenly, a black vine grabbed Orions foot, and pulled. Orion roared in surprise, and tripped onto his chest. Laff was thrown forward, and landed in a clear patch of land. Orion ran off, without Laff. "ORION!" Laff called, but it was too late. Orion was gone. Black vines wrapped around Laff, and tightened. He gasped for breath, and was lifited into the air. "Where's your little pet now?" Seth asked. "Not gonna lie...your leg is looking awful." Laff said. Seth growled. "Your beast put that there." "He'll get rewarded later." Laff said with a smirk, yet it was hidden under his gas mask. "No matter, I'll just put you back in your room that you stayed in. You like that room, don't you?" Seth asked. "You make me sick." Laff said, his voice dangerous. "I know. I also made you lose your voice. In fact..." Seth said. He reached his hand to Laff's throat. The tips of his fingers glowed, and reached right into his neck. Laff felt fear run through him. Seth pulled his hand out, but with a small, white orb. Laff yelled at him, but no sound came out. He stared in dismay at Seth. "You're all alone now. I dare you, try to call for help!" Seth laughed. Laff felt his heart drop, and closed his eyes. The vines loosened, and he fell. He yelped in pain, yet still no sound came. Laff ran to the closest cover, and held his arms close. "Laff?" He looked up and saw Blaza. "I saw everything." Blaza said. Laff sighed with relief. Laff turned around to see Seth putting his voice in a small black box. "I'll get it back." Blaza said. Laff whipped his head around, and tried to stop him, but he was too late. Blaza ran into view, and shot rocks at Seth. "Great, now you. I guess you want your friends voice back?" Seth said sarcastically. "Would be nice!" Blaza said, dodging the vines that shot like bullets at him. He made the ground beneath him rise up, and launched himself at Seth. He grabbed the box, but was too late to save himself from the ground. He landed hard, and a strange crack filled the air. Blaza sat up, holding his throat. It felt weird suddenly. The box had cracked open, but Laff's voice was gone. Laff looked around for the white orb, yet it was nowhere. Seth, however, had disappeared. Laff ran over to Blaza, and helped him up. He carried him over to the building, and lay him against the wall. He looked at Blaza, unable to ask if he was okay. Blaza was taking deep breaths, yet his breath sounded weird. Must've hit the ground harder than he thought. He looked at Laff, and saw the worry in his face. "I'm fine." he said. He quickly put his hand to his mouth, as shock filled them both. It wasn't his own voice. He spoke in Laff's voice. Blaza put his hand to his throat, taking deep breaths. That's why his breathing sounded weird. It was because it was Laff's! "Oh, God." he whispered. Laff squeezed his shoulder, and looked around the place. If Blaza had his voice, that must mean Blaza's voice was somewhere. He got up to looked around the place, when something white caught his eye. He went over to it, and saw it was a white orb. Blaza's voice. Blaza went over and saw the orb. "Is...is that my voice?" Blaza asked. He shivered after he spoke, not liking how he sounded exactly like Laff. Laff nodded, and crouched down next to the orb. "How come my voice left, and I took yours?" Blaza asked. Laff shrugged. Suddenly, the orb went straight at Laff, and went into his throat. Laff felt shock got through his body, and fear. "Um...that's not good, is it?" Blaza asked. Laff shook his head. Blaza rubbed his neck, trying to think of something to help them. "Wait...doesn't Sonja do magic?" Blaza asked. Laff nodded. "You know, you can speak now." Blaza said, smirking. Laff smacked his head, holding back the sigh in him. "You want me to make this awkward?" Laff asked. Just as they thought, his voice was Blaza's, and Blaza cringed. "Never mind. It's already weird enough that I'm talking in a British accent now." "Hey!" Laff said. Blaza snickered. Laff shook his head, smiling. "C'mon, let's find Sonja." He got up, and helped Blaza to his feet. The two of them ran into the ruined community, looking around for their friends. "Where are they?" Laff said. "Help!" they turned around to where they heard the voice. "Over here!" Blaza saw a mother and her child stuck under the debris of their house. "Laff!" Blaza said. They turned around and ran over to the mother. "Are you okay?" Blaza asked through a hole in the debris. "My leg, it's broken." the woman whispered. The child whimpered, holding his mother tight. "Hey, it's going to be okay." Laff said softly. The child nodded, yet held his mother tight still. "Do you have a power host?" Blaza asked. The mother shook her head. "No, I don't." Blaza looked at the rubble, and saw most of it was made of stone. "Laff, I'm going to move some of the rubble, and when I tell you to, make a shield there. We need to make sure to support it so it doesn't collapse on them." Blaza said. Laff nodded. He moved the first piece of rubble, and Laff added a shield that fit it perfectly. They continued the process, having close calls at some moments, until the rubble was all gone, and bits of pieces of shields separated them. Laff made the shield one big shield, and opened a small doorlike entrance. Blaza went in the ruined home, and sat next to the mother and child. "Thank you." the mother whispered. The child was about seven or eight years old, and looked at Blaza with interested. "Of course." Blaza said. "You're voice doesn't suit you." the child suddenly said. "Dan!" the mother said, but Blaza snickered. "No, he's right. Let's just say, me and my friend had a run-in with the dude that made all this happen, and our voices switched." "Are you okay?" the mother asked, gasping. "Yeah, we're fine. Now come on, let's get you guys out of here." He carefully lifted the mother up, and Laff came in and picked the child up. They left the ruined building until they were far away from it. "Hold on." Laff said. The shield disappeared, and the house crumbled. The child held tight to Laff, and Laff held him close. "Where are the other survivors?" the mother asked. "We don't know. We've been trying to stop the dude that made this all happen." Laff said. The mother fell quiet, fear and dread filling her. Blaza looked at her leg, and cringed at it. It was twisted in a horrible way, and the mother's face was in pain. "Okay, where would you go after this?" Blaza asked. The mother thought for a moment, and then said "The outside." "Like, outside, in the woods." Laff asked. The mother nodded. "Yes, at least that's what I think." "But we're so far from any doors, it'll take forever to get to one of them, and with Seth looking for us..." Laff said. Blaza bit his lips, unsure of what to do. "If I'm right, the dorms are closest. We can head there, and maybe get some stuff for her. We can go outside, and see what we can find." Blaza said. Laff nodded. So they started walking to the dorms, making sure to stay hidden. After walking for ten minutes, Keith came out of nowhere. "Blaza? Laff?" he asked. "Hey Keith." Laff sighed, tired. "Wait...why do you sound like Blaza?" Keith asked. "Long story." Blaza said. Keith gave Blaza a look, but shook his head. "Do you know where Tom Kraka is?" the mother blurted. Keith thought for a second, then his face fell. "Yes...he's gone." Keith said. The mother gasped, and tears fell down her face. Blaza held her close, giving her some comfort. He must've been her husband. "No, no, no." the mother whispered. The child wasn't sure what was going on, but knew something bad had happened. "Listen, there are others that are alive. Let me bring them to you." Keith said. The mother nodded, her tears leaving trails on her dust-covered face. Keith took the child, and held the mother close. "I hope you fix this voice thing, cause I'm not living with it." Keith said. Laff chuckled. "Any idea where Sonja is then?" Keith shook his head. "No, I saw Tbvg though. He was bringing some survivors in." Both Blaza and Laff let out a sigh of relief. One of their friends was still alive. Keith then started off, bring the mother and child to safety. "Well, now let's find Sonja." Laff said. Blaza nodded. "Yeah, probably." The two of them went off, looking for Sonja. After a half-hour of searching, they sat in a building, hot and sweaty and tired. "We're never going to find her. She could be anywhere!" Blaza said. "Yeah, I know." Laff sighed. The heat was starting to get him. "Let's rest for now, I'm exhausted." Blaza said. "I could live with that." Laff said, making himself comfortable. They both fell asleep in seconds.
