Meme stared at Nadwe. Nadwe had been brought in and they immediately got to work to save him. The blackness in his veins were still there, making Meme worried. "We'll do everything we can." Faith said. "Thank you." Meme said, and left. He walked outside, lost in thought, when he saw a large crowd of people. They were looking around, confused. "What's going on?" Meme asked to a nearby person. "Someone got taken away by something. He had a gas mask on." "Laff." Meme whispered to himself. Something bad had happened to Laff. "He and his friend also encountered the same thing today, but his friend didn't get lucky. His head crack, as it was made of glass." Jooice. "Is he in the hospital, the one who's head cracked?" Meme asked. "Yeah, Camilla brought them. Fastest girl there is." Meme thank the man, and ran off to the hospital. "I need to look for someone named Jooice." Meme asked a doctor. She nodded, and lead him to a room. "Jooice!" Meme said. Jooice opened his eyes, and smiled softly. "Hey man." "Jooice, what happened? Laff is gone now, Seth took him!" Meme said. "What?!" Jooice yelped. He started to sit up, but his head began to spin, and he felt woozy. "Goddamnit. Stupid drugs." Jooice sighed, laying back down. "What does Seth want with Laff?" Meme wondered aloud. "Maybe he wants revenge for something." Jooice said. "I did get away from him a while ago. Maybe he's also mad that we got Nadwe back." "Wait, Nadwe's back?" Jooice asked. He had heard the news about Nadwe being taken away. "Yeah, but he's still..." Meme fell quiet. "We'll get him back." Jooice promised. "I know...I just wished he didn't get taken away in the first place." "We all knew Seth would come back to take him, just not so soon." Jooice said. Meme sighed. "But we need to find Laff." Jooice said. "Yeah, but were is he?" Meme said. They fell silent. "I know. That's how I saw you." Meme swiveled his head and saw Socks in the doorway. "Socks!" Jooice said. "How's your head?" Socks asked. "How did?" Meme started to ask. "I'll explain later, but I know where Seth is. But he's got a lot of traps. I've managed to disarm most of them, but we're going to need someone else." "I can go with you, but Oof is also in the hospital with a spider bite. Oompa told me about it, he just came in before you came rushing in." Jooice said. "Oompa and TBVG aren't going, they've already been through a lot." Meme said. "Tbh and Blaza. They've been hanging around the place." Socks said. "How can you see all of us?!" Meme asked. "I said I would talk about it later!" Socks said. He took a deep breath, calming himself. "Sorry I shouted, it's just...hard to not lose control." Socks said. He suddenly glitched, shocking Meme and Jooice. "You're still a glitch?!" Jooice asked. "It wears off. I didn't get a crystal thing." Socks sighed. "Glad we gave everyone a small piece." Meme said. Socks nodded. "But that means you're losing time!" Jooice said. "I lose about an hour a day, it's fine." Socks said. "We're losing time right now with Laff with Seth!" Meme said. Everyone fell quiet. "Listen, we're getting Laff, but then we're bringing you back, and take care of the glitch thing. Fair enough?" Meme asked. Socks was quiet for a few seconds. "Okay. But if I say no when it's time, it's not me." Socks said. Meme nodded. "How long is Jooice going to be in here?" Socks asked. "I'm going to be here for a while. Tomorrow the person who fixed my head is somehow going to make it stronger." Jooice sighed. "Get some rest. We'll take care of Laff and Seth." Meme said. They left Jooice to rest, and went to find Blaza and Tbh. "Okay, how the hell have you been able to see us?" Meme asked. Socks sighed. "Do you really want to know?" Meme nodded. Socks stopped walking. "Sorry about this." He punched Meme in the chest, and he went flying back. But his body fell to the ground, and a see-through version of Meme floated in the air. "Ow! What the..." He then saw his body on the ground, his chest rising and falling. "You technically asleep." Socks said, looking straight at him. "Did you just shove my spirit out of my body?!" Meme yelped. Socks nodded. "That's how I've been checking in on you guys, and how I know what happened to everyone." Socsk said. Meme was shocked. Socks must've been learning to control his power of death. Meme took a deep breath. "Let's go find Blaza and Tbh." Socks nodded, and flicked his wrist. Meme felt himself get dragged back into his body. "Oh, man." Meme groaned. His body felt weak and flimsy. "Yeah, first time being pushed out is not fun." Socks said, helping him up. Meme shook his arms, trying to wake them up. "That's weird as all hell." "Yeah, but...I didn't want to hurt anyone." Socks said, looking down, kicking a rock between his feet. Meme knew that he was thinking about Carter. "I see him. He follows me around. He doesn't blame me, but...it's hard. Knowing that your hands acted without you wanting to." Socks said. His eyes got misty, and he looked away. "Is he here?" Meme asked, curious. Socks looked around, and sighed. "Hiding in the tree line. You can't see him unless I make him visible to you." Meme didn't make him, but turned to the tree line. Somewhere there, was Carter, waiting for his chance to come back. "C'mon, let's find Tbh and Blaza." Socks nodded, and they went on their way. "Where would they be?" Meme asked. "Tbh has been hanging out in the animal shelter, and Blaza has been going into the forest with a book to read." Socks said. Meme stared at him. "I told you, I've been watching everyone!" Socks said. "Yeah, I didn't expect you to follow them everywhere!" Meme said. Socks, surprisingly, laughed. Not a cruel laugh, but a happy laugh. "Half the time I want to jump-scare them, but I didn't want them to pass out after, thinking I was dead." Meme laughed at that, happy his friend was in a better mood. "C'mon, Tbh is closer." Meme said, and the two of them ran to the animal shelter.

"What is this called again?" Tbh asked, looking at a large butterfly, the size of a school desk. "Giant Solem Papilionem, or giant sun butterfly. This is a small one, probably a kid in age." the vet said. "Could you ride it?" Tbh asked. "We don't know. That's what we're trying to find out." the vet said. The giant butterfly's wings were covered in bright yellow's and orange's. It looked at them with curiosity. Tbh had learned a lot about the different unique animals in the shelter. How they got here was the Tueres took a male and female of each kind from different worlds, and breed them to have multiple to study. "Right now, we're trying to mate the giant sun butterfly and giant moon butterfly to see what happens." the vet said. "That's cool." Tbh said. "Tb!" he turned to see Meme, and right behind him was Socks. He kept his emotions at seeing Socks down, as to not make the vet suspicious. "We need to talk." Socks said. "I better get going." Tbh said, and said good-bye. Once they were outside, he grabbed Socks in a hug. "Where the hell have you been?! Do you know how worried I was?!" Tbh said. Socks hugged him back, sighing. "I'm sorry. I just didn't trust myself." Tbh nodded. "Don't blame you. But what's going on?" Tbh asked. "Seth came and attack Laff and Jooice. Jooice's in the hospital with a head injury, his head cracked again. And Seth kidnapped Laff. We need to get Laff back." Meme said. Tbh felt goosebumps appear. "Um...just the three of us won't be enough." Tbh said. "That's why were getting Blaza." Socks said. "Where is he?" Tbh asked. "Probably in the indoor forest, reading a book." Socks said. Tbh gave Socks a look. "I've learned a lot about this power host that I have, so don't ask, Meme already did." Socks said. "He shoved my spirit out of me." Meme said casually. "MEME!" Socks yelled. "Wait, what?!" Tbh yelped. "Meme, what the hell!?" Socks said. "What? Might as well know now than later." Meme said. Socks slapped his forehead. "How did you do it?" Tbh asked. Meme was about to stop Socks, but he was too slow. Socks punched him in the chest, and he went flying back. "Dude! That hurt!" Tbh yelled. He then saw his body on the ground, and just stared at it. "Socks, breathe." Meme said. Socks was breathing hard, and he seemed irritated. Tbh knew that Socks was in a bad position right now, he almost pushed him over the line. "Socks, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to irritate you." Socks was calming down now, and he sighed. "Didn't mean to do that, just...it's not a topic I like to talk about." Tbh nodded. He turned, then saw someone nearby. "Carter?" Tbh whispered. "Wait, where?" Meme said, looking around. "Hiding over there in the trees." Tbh said. Socks sighed. "Let's go find Blaza." Meme said. Socks nodded. He flicked his wrist, and Tbh was back in his body. Meme helped him up, and Tbh shook his arms. "Everything is asleep." "Yeah, happened to me." Meme said. Socks suddenly stumbled, groaning. "You good?" Tbh asked. "I just use so much energy to push both of you guys." Socks said, sitting down. He put his head between his knees, taking deep breaths. "Listen, Tbh will find Blaza, I'll stay with you while you get your breath back." Meme said. Tbh ran off, and Meme sat next to Socks. "Take it easy." Meme said. "I'm so tired." Socks mumbled. Meme squeezed Socks shoulder. He didn't know what else to say, so he just stayed quiet. A few minutes later, Tbh came back with Blaza in tow. "Socks!" Blaza said, his face breaking into a smile. Socks looked up to see Blaza, and smiled. "Hey Blaza." Blaza sat next to Socks, and gave him a hug. "Are you okay?" Blaza asked. "Just tired." Socks said. His eyes fluttered a few times, then his head fell on Blaza's shoulder, and his muscles relaxed. Meme put a finger to his mouth, telling the other two to stay quiet. He carefully lifted Socks up, and he and Blaza walked back to the dorms (I FOUND A NAME FOR IT!!!) and brought Socks to his old room. They gave him a blanket, and left. "Man, Socks must be going through hell right now." Tbh said. "I mean, he left because he was afraid he was going to hurt us." Blaza said. "Listen, as soon as he's awake, we're making a plan." Meme said. Suddenly, L4FF came into the hallway, looking exhausted. "L4FF? You good?" Blaza asked. "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine." L4FF said. His face seemed strained, like he was fighting something. "L4FF, are you sure?" Meme asked. L4FF sighed, and yellowish-green orbs appeared in his hands. The three of them felt their blood turn to ice. "What the..." Tbh whispered. "I don't know why, but I still have Chaos power in me. And I don't know how to stop it, it keeps coming back." L4FF said. "Isn't it like a power host?" Blaza asked. "I don't know. Where's Carlos?" Meme asked. L4FF shrugged. "I don't know. But we may need to find him fast, cause this is draining my energy." L4FF said. "I'm right here!" Carlos came through the wall, and sighed. "It's tough to say if it's like a power host. It's more like it's more alive. Power host are just here to help the Tueres live in this world. When their host dies, they move to find someone else, same thing over and over again. The Chaotic power though, is different. It's more free to do whatever it wants, it can make it's own choices. It's not stuck in a loop. It can kill its host if it wants, and find someone else. The power of it is the same thing. Wants to do whatever it wants." "So how can he control it?" Tbh asked. "That's the hard part. And confusing. He needs to...how do I put this? He needs to gain higher control than it, yet learn to work with it?" Silence hung in the air. "Okay, that made no sense." Blaza said. Tbh elbowed him, glaring at him. "He tried!" L4FF had zoned out, lost in his head. "L4FF?" Meme asked. Suddenly, the orbs disappeared, and L4FF stumbled. Meme went over to him and steadied him. "That was faster than I thought." L4FF said. "How did you do it?" Tbh asked. "I sorta understood what Carlos meant. I mean, I had to work with Laff when we were sharing one body." His knees then buckled, and would've fallen down if Meme didn't catch him. "C'mon, let's get you to bed." Meme said. He helped L4FF up, and helped him to his room. "Thanks Meme." L4FF said. "Get some rest." Meme said softly. Meme left L4FF, and went back to Blaza and Tbh. They went to Meme's room, and Meme flopped onto his bed. "Why does flopping on a bed feel so nice?" Meme asked, sighing with relief. Blaza chuckled. "How are we going to get Laff back?" Tbh asked. "I don't know. We can't make a plan without Socks." Meme said. "I hope he's okay." Blaza said, looking at the ceiling light.

Laff opened his eyes, dazed. His body was weak, his throat dry, and his head heavy. He was still hung up on the hardened vines, and sighed. He was very thirsty. He coughed, his side bursting in pain. "That must hurt, doesn't?" Seth came through the door, and closed it. "What do you want?" Laff rasped. "Can't hurt to visit?" Seth asked. Laff hung his head, wishing Seth would go away. "I could kill you now. That would be fun." Laff felt a cold feeling go down his spine. "But I have a bigger plan for you." Seth said. "Maybe death is a better option." Laff whispered. Seth looked at him hard. "Not afraid of death, are we?" Laff glared at him. "Hmm. Well, it's not your time yet, is it?" Seth said. He went over to Laff, and took his gas mask off. Laff felt his stomach flip. If Seth did anything to his mask, he would kill him. "How did you get this? And why do you wear it all the time?" Seth asked. Laff knew this was a trick. If he answered wrong, it would cost him his mask. He needed to lie about it. "I found it in a store. No one else wanted a gas mask, so I took it, and I got a kick out of it. I kept it ever since." Seth looked at it. Laff felt his heart pounding in his chest. He dropped it, and it landed on the floor with a thud. "It surprises me you keep garbage." Seth said, and left. Laff let out a sigh of relief when Seth left. It was safe. He looked at the gas mask on the ground, and wished he could get it. Truth was, he found the mask in his attic. No idea how it got there, but when he showed his friends, it was them who got a kick out of it. He also liked it, and considered it his prized possession. He sighed, feeling sick suddenly. How did he get so dehydrated so fast? He looked around the room, and sighed. "Where are you guys?" he whispered. He eyes got heavy, and fell asleep. For a while, he was surrounded by black. Then he saw someone standing a few feet away. "Socks?" Laff asked. Socks jumped, and turned around. "Laff?" Socks asked. Laff ran over to him, unsure what was happening. Suddenly, something grabbed his ankle, and dragged him down. "Socks!" Laff yelped. Socks just looked at him, then disappeared. "What?" Laff whispered. The thing dragged him suddenly, and he disappeared down a ravine. He screamed as he fell, then started awake. Sweat dripped down his face, and he was shaking like crazy. "Just a dream, just a dream." he whispered.
