The Legend
When the meeting ends I stay behind with Flyjoy and my new friends because I am curious to learn about the Deliverer and what that whole thing Peace said actually meant.
Others seemed to accept his words at face value, but I am much more curious than that.
I don't doubt him because it is impossible to distrust a being as pure as he is, but I need to know more.
It is too cryptic for me to ignore it.
"So what was all that about the Deliverer? Who is that? What will he do? " I asked.
Peace only smiles at my inquisitiveness.
"I should have known that you of all people would never be satisfied by mysterious answers. I knew from the first moment that I saw you that you were a curious one.
During the meeting, people were too focused on what needed to be done and not one of them asked those questions because they were scared.
You, humans, have never been taught to ask the questions. If we ask the questions, we might learn the answers. In the case of the humans, it would have meant learning more about their lives, about the Darkness.
The Darkness would have been discovered even without our help if people dared ask the questions. Only when you dare ask the questions you might learn the truth.
In the case of my magical brethren, they have learned long ago the virtue of patience.
They know when the right moment for something is, and they don't worry too much about the future. It does help that they trust me implicitly. " He says.
"As for the answer to your questions, it is a long one," he says.
"I still want to know!" I reply confidently.
"Alright May, then I shall tell you.
As I told you Artim, the great magician that once lived and shall live once again, as the legend says, foretold that 'The separation would end when the child of gold enters the gate of passage and shows the true belief in magic', but there is more to the story than what I told you.
The whole prediction goes like this:
'The separation would end when the child of gold enters the gate of passage and shows the true belief in magic. Two shall become as one, but the bridge between the worlds shall have to be built by the true believers. Two believers that make one, shall bring the Deliverer to us, to reunite us and free us from the pain. The new life of joy and peace shall begin when the full circle of life after life shall be done.'
We weren't entirely sure what any of this meant since the predictions are always difficult to understand until they start unfolding.
When you entered Solactia we were finally able to understand the first part, and the second part we think talks about true believers, humans, connecting with their magicals.
The problem is, we are not entirely sure about the rest of the prediction.
I think that we should work on helping magicals and humans reconnect and when the time is right we shall know which path to take. "
"That's so confusing!" I can't help but exclaim doing my best to mask my irritation.
Peace can see how frustrated I am and explains: "I know how confusing this is for you since you don't yet fully understand the way of the magic.
We would have made a lot of mistakes in our timing if Artim had told us exactly what had to be done.
A wrong step could have been made even if he had told us the exact time, which is almost impossible to do. We would have lost our only chance to save the worlds.
This way, the magic guides us and there is no place for errors.
We see the next clue only when we solve the first one.
Following all the steps helps us develop properly like going from a baby to a child, to a teenager and then finally to an adult.
Some knowledge and wisdom would have been lost if we had missed any of the steps in the middle as well as the joy of discovery and living."
