SUMMER CAMP.

Hi, my name is Clara Manchester. There is not so much to know about me.

       I live in Texas City with my dad.
       My dad told me , he lost my mom after my birth , which made me the only child.

        Ever since then,my dad refuse d to remarry.
cause he is afraid that I would be maltreated by a step mom.

    I have tried several times to convince him that I was okay even if he remarried,

     But he keeps on refusing to marry again, so I just let it slide.

         Zzzzzzzzzz, Zzzzzzzzzz I hard my alarm ring,

   It was time to get my lazy body off the bed,to the bathroom.

I stood up from he bed went to the bathroom and wiped my face with some water.

Oh my gosh my phone is ringing..... I wonder who could be calling at this moment of the day

Ohh it's my BFF Lila ...... I took my phone from the bed

'' Clara it's me Lila'' she said
Yeah I know..... I saved your contact on my phone.......

Ok that's great..... I hope you haven't forgotten what today is.......

Today let me check....... Is it your birthday ........ Cause I can't find it .

You silly girl,  it's certainly not my birthday it's the beginning of our summer holiday we don't get this every day you know that.

Oh yeah I knew last night that I forgot about something.

Dad told me to arrange my stuff cause he will be dropping me off at the summer camp .

I definitely did not want to go , cause I wanted to spend some time with my Dad..

But Dad said he had a business meeting to attend in the next city

and he would definitely not want to stay home alone

Clara, are you on the line....... I can't hear you

Oh my gosh this can't get more weird
   Yeah Lila I can hear you now ...... Of course am aware of the summer holiday and our summer plan together I will definitely be there for you........

just need to get my stuff ready I mumbled

I feel so sad I had to lie ,if Lila found out I forgot about summer,she will my life a living hell over there
Ok see you there Clara.........

Don't forget to bring some snacks........ This time she was really loud my ears were bleeding .

Yes of course, how can I forget your favourite snack
Lobster rolls, peaches and strawberry shortcake.

  I Listed it out for her  to hear

Byeeee she added and hang off the call I just realized what big mess I'm into .

""Clara.....""" My dad called

Yes dad  can I come in sweet heart
Of course dad.,.. you can the door isn't locked.

My dad opened the door and walked in .

   """  This room is messy young lady"""

my dad said as he pushed his way to my reading table

I know dad, I don't know what to do dad, my head aches right now

    I don't want it go on the summer vacation , u don't feel good
    But I already promised Lila that I will definitely be there.

      Come here my sweetheart " my dad said as he stretched his hands out.
    I love it when my dad consoles me ....it makes me feel better.

   I walked towards my reading table and gave him a hug.

   " You know Clara, there is one thing I never mentioned to you" he said.

   " And what is that " I asked like a curious dog.

    " You know Clara, you have the pure heart of your late mother, whenever I look at you,

        You remind me of your sweet mother " dad said as tears  drop down  his cheeks.

     I held my heart, I don't know why but whenever dad start been emotional about mom.

     I get this sharp pain in my heart .never have I mentioned this to my dad, I don't know why but it better I don't.

   " Dad   " I called as I looked at his face .

     " Yes sweetheart " he answered me and swipe his face.

    " Could you please arrange my luggage ...you know we'll enough that you do this ....
      I can't arrange " I told him as I looked at my dad with a puppy face, he can't resist me this way.

    " Your sixteen now, Clara  you still need daddy's help in your luggage." Dad said surprisely.

   I nodded as I looked at him pitifully.

   " I promise to do it next year " I told him .

   " I know I heard that line somewhere .....
   Oh yeah that was the same line my sweetheart used last year summer.

   " Dad ....you can't refuse me, Lila will kill me if I go over there late.
   Or so do you want your sweet little teenage daughter to die so young.

   " Off course no ....I love my sweetheart way too much ." Dad said as he held my cheek playfully.

   " Thanks a lot dad ....I need to go  freshen up ".

   " Yeah you really need that " dad said as he held his nose.

    I went into the bathroom and had a quick bath.

   I took my towel and wipe my body, maybe dad is done folding my summer dresses into my luggage.

    " Dad .....are you still in my room " I echoed behind the door.

   But the was no response, meaning dad left.

    I walked out of the bathroom into my room as I sat in my dressing mirror.

   I took out of the drawer, my hair brush as I brushed my hair neatly into a nice ponytail.

    I love my hair, when I plate it into a ponytail.

    I apply some makeup  .....yeah why not some makeup,
    You never know who you will get to meet in the future.

   I was done with my make up, now it was time to get dress.

  I let my towel down, as I walked closer to the bed to get my dress .

   I put on my dress and it fit perfectly.

  A blue shirt with a pink top which had my favorite singer " ARIANA GRANDE " she looks so cool and I really want to be a great musician like her.

  I took my black sneakers and wore which completed my dressing .

   Secret I need to tell is that I love dressing well.

    " Clara ....come down already we can't risk to get caught in traffic" my dad shouted downstairs as he blow the car horn.

    " I will be there dad " I shouted close to the window as I gave him a wave.

  I took my luggage as I ran down stairs.
 
   Open the car booth and zoom we went.

  " It summer time " I scream out if the window as I let the cold Breeze have his way through me.

  It really feels good going round the town especially with my dad.
