.Chapter 2.
Snowdonia woke again as the sun began rising over the tall buildings around her. She noticed that some boxes were tipped over from the shaking, but no horrific damage had occurred. She moved outwards, into the bustling area of walking twolegs and let out an annoyed huff as she watched a kittypet walking along in the park. She moved silently, her pale yellow eyes scanning over everything, little emotion showing through them. She heard a loud yowl from behind her, and she moved a slightest bit faster. She knew it was a kittypet, it always was around this area. Unless, of course it was another loner like her, but she doubted that. She heard them let out another call, this time making sense of the words.
"Hey! Hey! Wait for me!" They called to her.
She lashed her tail, still not stopping. She finally heard them huff, then the sound of paws hitting the ground as they raced up to her. As they neared, she heard the sound of a bell which was dangling from their collar, from the way it rang so much. She let out an annoyed growl, still moving, until they stepped in front of her.
"What do you want, kittypet?" She meowed in heavy annoyance. The kittypet looked excitedly at her, completely oblivious to the fact she could claw their face off in a few moments.
"Who are you? What are you? Yo- Oh my you don't have a collar! Where do you eve-" they began spouting out to her. Her eyes narrowed angrily, her claws unsheathing a bit.
"You can be quiet. For one, I don't have to answer your puny questions, and two, twolegs are ugly lanky creatures who I'm surprised haven't died out yet." She replied harshly, turning away to keep going. The kittypet let out an very audible gasp, before charging after her.
"Don't Be so rude! That's mean! You should apologize! Twolegs help keep us alive!" They insisted. Snowdonias' eyes flared angrily,
"I don't have to do anything." She snarled to them. She watched as they paused, eyes widening fearfully.
"I.. You don't have a right to be mad at twolegs! What have they done to you?" They asked inconsiderately. Snowdonias anger rose higher.
"And you don't have the right to ask me that, kittypet." She growled out. She saw them rooted, gaping at her for her anger. She stormed off, not looking back to check if they were following. She dashed across the darkened thunder-path into a nearby park, listening for the sound of anything dangerous, before heading over to a Small river that ran through the park. She positioned herself gently by the water, looking into the water and seeing shadows of fish moving around inside it. She huffed silently, before watching them move around. She heard a deep chuckle from behind her, sounding lightly familiar.
"Strange seeing you here. I thought you stayed by your alleyway." He meowed. She turned, facing Hyena.
"Prey isn't always that great in the back alleys, and would rather not eat crowfood." She replies calmly. He gave a tiny nod in response. She twitched her ears slightly.
"You live around here?" She asked nonchalantly. He shook his head lightly.
"No, I live farther down the way, it takes a little bit of time to reach here. Especially from the amount of kittypets around this area." He replied with an eye roll.
Snowdonia scoffed, "I couldn't agree more about the kittypet statement." He chuckled slightly.
"Did you run into one?" He asked.
"Depressingly yes. They're horrendous for feeling like twolegs are anything but dumb creatures." She snorted. He let out a loud laugh.
"I never thought I could agree with an opinion more." He said. "They're lanky and cant move around without their stupid monsters." He continued on. Snowdonia let out a snort of amusement, nodding in agreement. Her tail twitched lightly, before turning away, before adding,
"I should probably be going soon." She muttered. He nodded quickly.
"Don't run into any kittypets on the way back." He joked calmly.
"Yeah." She replied, rolling her eyes. She quickly set off, heading back to her alleyways.
